We can’t say enough enough about our stay at the Kixby. It’s the perfect location, close enough to be able to walk to anything you want to see in Manhattan. The room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The water bottles and flavored water machines were a nice touch as well. But the best two parts - the service of the staff and the rooftop bar. The rooftop has an amazing view of the Empire State building at night and the staff is full of people that truly care about hospitality and making your stay enjoyable. Shout out to Jose - he was always helpful each time we needed something during our stay! We will definitely be back!

We stayed here in a King Bedroom over a weekend and it was a pleasant experience.
First of all, the location is amazing; everything is in a walking distance. You walk fir literally 2 minutes and you get to the subway station. Macy’s is very close; lots of food options; Korean food options right beside the hotel and many famous bagel shops at a walking distance.
The staff are very friendly and helpful; they even changed our $100 bills for us.
Rooms are typical NYC style; small, but clean and they have provided you with everything you need; shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer, iron, enough hangers in the closet. It’s also quiet and comfortable.
There’s a rooftop bar, that’s open during patio season.
I definitely recommend staying here.

NYC was our second-to-last stop after a string of Nordic cities. All the hotel stays were booked months prior and I mistakenly thought I reserved a room with two beds for this hotel as well which was not the case (one queen bed room booked). Inna at the front desk was extremely helpful and provided a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with two queen beds. Incidentally, stepping in and out of the hotel a few times during our stay, I always noticed that Inna was unvaryingly pleasant and helpful with all her guests. She is a real asset for the hotel.
The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the room was fairly quiet. The fixtures and decor had a bit of the gilded-age old-world charm to them. It was a lovely stay.

Clean, average NYC hotel. Location was close enough to walk to most things, but also so close that we got a ton of street noise. The rooms were a bit tight, but clean.
Big issue was the size of the bathroom. If you are bringing your wife, she will NOT have space nor light to do make up easily.
They do offer unlimited flavored/sparkling water, which was a nice touch.
Elevators are a bit slow as well.
That being said, the service was very good.. Which is not always the case in NYC.

We had this for our base when doing a short tour of North East (NYC / Niagara Falls / Washington DC) and it was exactly what we needed. Room a little small but hey it's NYC, staff excellent, location amazing.
There is a little bar at the back of the lobby which is nice for a drink in the evening, also a restaurant next door,. We went into the restaurant one evening but too loud for us not a problem we were told, as we are staying in the hotel we can eat in the bar and it's the same food. The burger was to die for.
Free water bottle (make a nice present) and coffee and tea.
They will store your bags for free if you early arrival or later departure, they also offered to arrange transport which was a nice touch. When we were in Niagara Falls and Washington DC we were away for two nights each time and they stored one of our suitcases for $10 per day, but only charged for the full day we were away so $20 in total, excellent help.
Overall can't fault anything about the hotel except the IPA range on offer was too nice
