This is a great hotel. It’s located in a great spot, close to many major tourist attractions and as well as the Subway and Penn Station, which offers convenient access to the Long Island Rail Road back to JFK Airport. The rooms are small, but they’re comfortable and modern with a fridge, iron and ironing board, large TV, as well as a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The A/C was powerful and cooled down/warmed up the room quickly - my only criticism is that the rooms aren’t very well soundproofed, and we could hear other guests both in the early mornings and evenings. Reception offers a free baggage storage service and on check-in, you’re given a water bottle which can be filled at a new refreshment station on Floor 2, with lots of great flavours and the option to carbonate the water. Free snacks are provided in the afternoon and there are lots of options for teas, coffees, and hot chocolates. This forms part of your nightly ‘resort tax’ which some other guests seemed surprised about on checkout, so worth looking into! Staff were friendly, rooms cleaned to a high standard, and hotel generally well maintained. I’d return if I was to revisit New York City.

Myself and my husband just had the most wonderful stay at the Kixby Hotel. The room was so spacious and clean with great amenities and the staff were amazing. The hotel has the most amazing view of the Empire State Building from the roof top. Lovely bar and restaurant attached to the hotel also but the location was so good we had endless amount of options. We will certainly be back!

Rooms are very good, slightly small, but very well equipped. Got a reusable water bottle on arrival and there is a complimentary water station with flavoured water, and additives like electrolytes, vitamins and ? caffeine?? Rooms are a little bit noisy, but what city centre hotel doesn't get noise from outside. But it was a really nice touch.

Very clean, newly renovated hotel with a great view from the rooftop of the Empire State Building. One of the only hotels we could find with a suite that included three beds for a family. Not a lot of amenities and the location is close to only a few attractions, but the rooms are quiet and comfortable and the staff is excellent.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. For NYC, the room was nicely designed for the size. Staff was friendly and the rooftop deck was phenomenal. After checkout, they held onto our bags so we could explore the city bag-free. Highly recommend
