My family/friends and I have just returned from staying at Kipriotis Aqualand (total 5 adults and 3 children ages 2, 4 & 7). Happy with the cleanliness of the room although a bit dated. We always found something to eat at the buffet, however a lot of dishes contained pork. The lifeguards were very attentive although personally it was unusual to see a family friendly hotel not allowing anyone to jump in the pool or eat by the pool. Some staff friendly, others really not welcoming at all. The biggest downfall for us was the location of the hotel and lack of taxi services. It is located far away from town at the top of a hill. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. We were charged a whopping 31€ for the hotel's shuttle service to town which was not private as it stopped at the neighbouring hotel for more passengers and it dropped us at the marina at the other end of town (not door to door service). It was a long and tiring walk with 3 children and being 5 months pregnant in 35+ degree heat!). The hotel will not call any other taxi firm as they make commission from their own shuttle service. Taxis are extremely limited during the day (we tried to call but no one answered) but more frequent at night. We asked for the hotel's shuttle service once more to the port on our return journey to Bodrum/Turkey - the driver agreed to take us there for an extra 5€ (36€ total). The shuttle wasn't very clean inside and not air conditioned. The driver also started smoking a cigarette during the journey (baring in mind there were 3 young children and myself being clearly pregnant). He was incredibly rude and didn't seem to care when we asked him if he would put the cigarette out. For us, this was the final straw and we certainly would not go back again! Extremely disappointing service!!!

The hotel grounds are nice and clean and all the staff where lovely and polite. The rooms however need to be updated. The room my wife and I had wasn't too bad plenty of room and storage. But my oldest daughters room was terrible very old and smelled musky and of wee. But we spoke to the the staff and they moved them to another room they where so helpfull

Rooms clean but basic and dated. Location isn't ideal.. little out of the way.. there is a shuttle bus if you're happy to wait. Listed as 4star but more similar to 3 based on comparison with similar hotels. Either way.. kids loved it and food was decent for buffet style.. Pros - slides/pools/ staff and service Cons -dated rooms/ hilly location/plastic glasses (even in the evening)

Nice Spacious rooms, clean, comfortable beds, good balcony size, curtains a little threadbare, could do with being replaced. Air conditioning not switched on until mid June but think it could do with being switched on sooner as was quite warm at night. Very nice food and varied, great for a vegetarian and a picky eater. Friendly helpful staff throughout the hotel. Good location as only 10 minute drive from kos town, the hotel will help arrange a taxi. Walking it works be challenging as the hotel is in a very hilly location. Same for the beach, it's very close but at the bottom of a very steep hill, however, a frequent shuttle bus runs from the hotel. The beach is lovely but need to pay for sun loungers. Overall we had a really good time.

After reading so many mixed reviews on this hotel I wanted to give you my honest opinion. We arrived late one Sunday evening in May. Our flight had been delayed so we had missed the evening meal by the time we arrived. At reception we were greeted with a warm smile and a selection of sandwiches so we weren’t hungry that evening. We were quickly shown to our room and helped with our luggage. There’s a shop within the hotel grounds between the bar and dining room where you can buy toiletries snacks games gifts items for the pool etc. There’s a machine to inflate inflatables for the pool purchased free of charge. You are able to refill water bottles at the drinks machine in the restaurant with water only, but water from the hotel shop is cheap enough to buy. There’s a fridge in your room to keep it in. Wherever we have stayed we’ve always had to purchase bottled water it’s not been provided. The drinks included in all inclusive option spirits beer wine juices etc again are exactly the same as any other all inclusive I’ve ever holidayed at. Sun loungers were easy to find at the pool. The big pool is deep 1.5 meters but my youngest daughter 8 years old kept her arm bands on and was fine. It’s cold when you first get in but you quickly warm up. The kids pool was too shallow for her. For ages 5-14 there could use being a pool in size Inbetween these. Lifeguard at the pool at all times very on the ball. There’s music, water polo and aqua gym at the pool throughout the day but this isn’t constant. There are quiet spells. I’d suggest sitting further away from the speakers as it is loud. Kids club is brilliant the staff are really friendly my daughter was in ore of them, lots of evening entertainment for the kids too. No entertainment on a Thursday they have the day off 9:30pm- 11pm is more for adults. Bingo, karaoke (other languages not just English) Again very loud the whole hotel seemed to get involved - I’d say Predominantly Brits the week we stayed. Once back at the room you could hear it but it wasn’t annoying. We stayed in the 1700’s block of room numbers. I suppose if you were in a room nearer it maybe an issue if you wanted an early night. It’s a 15 minute downhill walk to the beach which is mainly rocks not much sand but fabulous views! Water sports available. Sun loungers you can pay for and a small hut selling beer and coffee. You can order the shuttle into town from the hotel reception for a time that suits you. For 4 of us it was 20 euros. The town is beautiful many shops and places to eat and drink. You can WhatsApp the shuttle bus for collection from town it’s cheaper to get a taxi from near the dolphin monument the other end of town, but you will queue it cost us 10 euros but we ended up waiting about 30 mins for a taxi. It feels safe I was here on my own with my 3 children. Feedback from my 3 daughters- age 8,13 and 15 they would stay here again but wish the rooms were more modern. As I’ve read in other reviews the kitchenette really isn’t necessary, a fridge alone would suffice. We didn’t use the tea and coffee facilities. Overall a lovely week was had. All the staff work exceptionally hard to make it a pleasurable stay. We wish the hotel and staff all the very best for the future.
