This is the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed at (3 times now!) it is situated right on the beach with beautiful tropical jungle like scenery & split levels with everything you could ask for. It is so peaceful and serene, the staff are friendly and attentive and the wildlife is amazing. We got to see frogs, lizards, birds and insects every day. There is a small shopping centre at the bottom of the resort road with restaurants, convenience stores, massage places & more and the locals are friendly and helpful. I literally dream about the breakfast buffet whenever I leave & the restaurants have a great variety of food & drink. If you’re thinking about booking here, just do it! Such a stunning place to relax by the pool or the beach

The most amazing nature-friendly resort in Thailand. They care about nature and animals as well as their guests. The staff is extremely polite and always smiling and willing to help. There are different activities every day that you can sign up for as well as different food buffets every night if you wish to try something different. They offer a gym, a tennis court and a spa with massages and sauna. The pools are really nice and there is no huge crowds or people reserving all the sunbeds early in the morning. For us the best part was the food which was absolutely amazing and the nature inside the resort, with a huge variety of animals. Also we went in March and there were almost no mosquitoes.

Fabulous hotel set in beautiful grounds. Rooms are lovely, clean and in keeping with the setting. Staff are very friendly. As a person who is coeliac and vegan, they were able to cater for me at breakfast and had a dedicated gluten free area that was covered to avoid cross contamination. The immediate surroundings were limited with only a few restaurants etc, but a perfect place for a chilled few days

Our stay at the Merlin resort was very nice. I had booked the deluxe room. And we lacked nothing. Despite the renovation, we did not notice it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was mainly based on European dishes. For real Thai food you have to go outside, so we only ate breakfast at the resort. The room and bathroom were clean. Lots of green and many animals🥰 I will definitely come back next time♥️ Khop khun ka🙏🏽

What a fabulous hotel. Everything and I mean everything was superb. All the staff groundsmen, pool cleaner, bar staff, waiters and waitresses, reception staff, porters and cleaners couldn’t be more polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They all work so hard and are happy with it. A huge shout to the lovely Chatkamol the manageress, who went out of her way to be extremely helpful above and beyond. Thank you Chatkamol. Merlin management/owners hope you appreciate the wonderful staff you have. I couldn’t find fault with anything and if anyone says different they were incredibly unlucky or just like to moan about anything. It’s a beautiful hotel set in an amazing setting. Would we go back - a definitely yes.
