Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi is a very nice and clean hotel with a fabulous view. The beach is beautiful, and the pools are well maintained and enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, and the balconies are large with a really nice view, which we truly appreciated. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, we were quite uncomfortable because the room did not have a hand shower for the toilet. This was our first time experiencing this, and it made our stay uncomfortable. It would be great if the hotel could consider adding this facility for guest convenience. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel with great service, but this issue affected our comfort during the stay.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. It truly lives up to its five-star standard. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The food was also excellent — tasty, varied and with nothing to complain about. The hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful. Special thanks to Arshad from the pool area, who regularly checked if everything was OK, made sure we were comfortable and surprised us with small, thoughtful gestures. A big plus is that there is no alcohol served anywhere in the hotel. Thanks to this policy, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed — the hotel simply does not attract guests looking for an “alcohol vibe,” which makes it a great place for quiet rest. One more tip: if you’re offered an paid upgrade at reception to a sea-view room, I’d actually recommend staying higher up with a city view instead. The hotel overlooks the presidential palace and the gate, which makes for a really picturesque view — especially at sunset — and, in our opinion, it’s much nicer than the sea view. So try to get yourself a room as high as possible with a palace view.

The hotel hosts many people (especially Russian families) and is quite large. We stayed as a couple for 6 nights. The staff is very friendly, and helps out with any question or need one might have. We booked a room with a balcony with view on the sea and the presidential palace, which was absolutely worth the add-on. I guess we were lucky to have a top floor room, with open air above our balcony and the best view possible. The kitchenette didnt have any equipment. We didnt use it, maybe if you really want to use it, they'll provide equipment on request. We booked this hotel because of the sun orientation, and it does provide sun all day long (in contrast to the neighboring hotels that face shadows at some point during the day, also from our hotel building). Coming from a different type of hotel in Dubai, we needed a bit of a mind shift when coming here. The buffet style restaurant gives a bit of a 3 star hotel vibe, and especially the traffic light signs in the elevators indicating that for breakfast until 8.30h no queues are to be expected but afterwards one should calculate some waiting time, contribute to that. However, our early rise on the first day for breakfast and claiming a sun bed at the pool/beach proved to be unnecessary, so we were more relaxed on the following days. The hotel has a spa with nice massages, a large gym with all equipment one needs, and large pool and beach. At the beach you can rent a jetski or 'ferrari' boat. The beach bar serves nice smoothies and hotdogs right at your sunbed. It is very convenient to have a deposit on your room on the first day, so that you dont have to pay separately at every occasion. If you like a hotel with a beach vibe, with a nice pool and lovely green garden, and are fine with families around, this is a very nice option.

Very pleasent stay, Sohanur Alan helped us a lot and served us with anything we asked! Thank you Sohanur, superb host! Also Lui helped us at the reception: we did not indicate, that we would like to have a non smoking room, and he helped to change the room as soon as one got free. The luggages were also moved automatically. Thank you And let me add, on our last day Mohammed Rasied helped us to prepare comfortable on our flight back home: gave us fresh towels and was very kind. To be honest, I haven't met anyone who was not happy and helpful!

We recently had our team dinner night at Rotana, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The evening was made especially memorable thanks to the outstanding service provided by Vanessa. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional throughout the night. Vanessa ensured that every detail was taken care of, regularly checking in on us with a genuine smile and making sure our team felt comfortable and well looked after. Her positive attitude and efficiency added a special touch to the entire experience. A special appreciation also goes to Umesh, whose culinary expertise truly shined. The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, perfectly balanced in flavors, and served fresh. Every dish reflected great skill and passion, and our team couldn’t stop complimenting the quality and taste. Overall, our team dinner at Rotana was a fantastic experience filled with great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Huge thanks to Vanessa and Chef Umesh for making our evening so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it for team gatherings and special occasions!
