*11/10 – Unmatched Luxury and Service at Katathani Beach Resort Phuket* If paradise had a name, it’d be Katathani. From the moment we arrived, the lush grounds and that endless turquoise sea stole our breaths – and it only got better. *The Resort:* Spacious rooms, manicured lawns, and a private beach that feels like your own slice of heaven. Every corner is Instagram‑worthy, and the sunset views were second to none *Dining:* Multiple restaurants, each a standout. Fresh seafood, authentic Thai, poolside bites – we devoured our way across the resort and never once disappointed. The buffet breakfast spread was really great *The Team:* Denis, the hotel manager, deserves a raise and a medal. Friendly, attentive, and ridiculously proactive. Thank you for helping us when we had a small problem *Extras:* A world‑class spa – the resort’s got activities if you want ’em, chill vibes if you don’t. The beach was immaculate, the pool’s were clean, and the cocktails? On point. We didn’t want to leave. We will be back Alan Halfon and Family

Great hotel running along side Kata Noi beach with amazing facilties and the best staff. So friendly and helpful. Will return to this hotel. Nice quiet location for families but only 5min from Kata for a busier night out if desired. We were here with 20 family members and they catered for us very well. Just need to allow more time in the restaurants if there is lots of you. There is a buffet option which was the quickest. We experienced the Christmas Eve Gala which was expensive but worth every penny. The food was exceptional and we had some entertainment 👌

We spent 4 days and 3 nights here. This is such a great place to relax and enjoy. The private beach is safe and super clean. We could watch the sunset every evening with peaceful vibes. The room, pools, pool bar, restaurants, foods, and live music are great. The staffs are very nice, polite, kind, and helpful. Thank you very much. We will definitely come back.

Spent 7 nights in the Bhuri Wing and two in the main building. You can hear every baby cry and every conversation held out on the floor or through the walls. The doors of all older rooms don't close properly because of missing seals. Have a look to my pictures. On windy days the wind is howling through the rooms. The bathrooms were worn out and furniture drawn by the humidity. The room in the main building had a nice seaview nevertheless the door which wasn't closing properly again pointed to the street. The noise from the street was ridiculous for 500$ per night. Unacceptable. The reception staff was not very engaged and barley spoke English. I really tried to keep my first room but without even looking into their computers, they always blocked my request by saying "we're fully booked". Same when I asked for a late check out, they didn't even try. The Katathani is a massive hotel with more than 500 rooms. You receive a stamp card which you have always to bring along to every bar or restaurant. Different menus between the booked packages are available and makes the culinary experience quiet complex. We had all inclusive and after we checked out we had to spend the whole day without a room. Food was still inclusive but after the check out process no beverages any more. Why? Distances between your room and a restaurant or pool could take up to 5-10 minutes. The area is enormous big, for me too big. The clientele is middle class, some of our vodka friends might bother you. They are a lot. So the whole Katathani experience was so so, can't understand this many 5 stars here... This is below Thai standard.

We recently stayed at Katathani Hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience. It’s truly a beautiful and peaceful resort, perfect for families with small children. There is so much green space — our baby loved crawling around safely and exploring. The beach right in front of the hotel is stunning, clean, and very close, which made every day feel like a dream. The room was spectacular: spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was amazing as well, with a wide selection and great quality food. Another big plus is the location — there are lovely restaurants within walking distance just outside the hotel, which made dinners easy and enjoyable. There were only a couple of small drawbacks: • The humidity inside the room was very high (around 75%) even with everything closed. • Housekeeping kept setting the AC to 21°C, so we were freezing when returning to the room. • In the evening the hotel was quite calm — which can be nice, but there wasn’t much happening entertainment-wise. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was fantastic. Beautiful grounds, a perfect beach, great food, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We would happily return and definitely recommend Katathani to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Phuket.
