Lovely hotel grounds, all the staff were very helpful and kind. Especially Despina, always checking on us and was always very helpful. Theodora at the pool was extremely kind, housekeeping were also fantastic. There was also a lady at the lobby bar with short black hair sorry I forgot her name but she was also very helpful! Thank you very much for looking after us 😊

A very pleasant stay in an idyllic setting. The staff is warm and attentive, and the half-board meals are excellent. The only downside: cleanliness could be improved. Thank u🫶🏼

Foyer and grounds look great. Room is immediately disappointing, small, basic and not as clean as you'd expect of an average 3 star hotel. I found long hairs in the bathroom that were not mine. The maids come in daily but do not remember to do everything they're supposed to each day (e.g. bins not emptied one day, no coffee sachets left another day). The air con is purely for show/sound, there wasn't the slightest cooling from it. The corridor rings constantly with the sound of doors slamming (a cheap fix). The bed wrecked my back, especially my shoulder, even days later. I asked reception to change the two twin mattresses that were pushed together and had a topper on them. The mattresses were not fit for purpose, only fit for dumping. Trying to sleep on them, you gradually rolled down the slopes into the dip in the middle and then the crack in between. The receptionist neither seemed interested in addressing my issue nor doing it speedingly (I had to go back to her later). Housekeeping then made comments they shouldn't have in front of a guest (I work in travel and they did not know the this or the extent of my Greek). I lost a day and a half due to pain and bad sleep. I'm still in a lot of pain days later, I'm going for a massage in my new resort and if that doesn't help enough I'll see a doctor. The water in the bathroom is usually tepid and won't help back pain. The buffet breakfast and dinner offer a variety but it's repeated often, many parts daily (e.g. the same 5 fruits available only, no variety other than those 5 over 9 days, and often some of them completely finished before you'll have a chance). The food is never hot, usually only lukewarm. There are always bottlenecks/queues at the drinks areas and the omelette station. Dress code is not enforced, from sex slogans on t-shirts to multiple guests wearing PJ's at 10:30am. The pool and pool area are good, the best thing about the hotel by far. The sun mattresses are far more comfortable than the beds. There's a beach and pool bar, a lifeguard and adequate sunbeds and optional shade. The toilets nearest the pool area are clean but have only cold water for washing your hands. The spa is the second biggest fault (after the beds). The sauna is tiny but adequate. The showers next to it, open, so the soapy water comes out and lies in slicks you'll slip multiple times on (lawsuit waiting to happen). The massage was poor, okay on the neck, mediocre on my back and poor on the legs and feet, unrefreshing and a waste of nearly 100 Euros. The ‘heated indoor pool’ was not heated. The jacuzzi is small, slippy (with no safeguards or handrails) and completely ineffective even at full setting - it's what you'd see in someone's backyard and they'd say they regret buying a cheap one. The decor in this area (indoor pool and jacuzzi) is non-existent, it looks like a car park, complete with low ceiling, old and marked beige paint and one token plastic plant by the jacuzzi, dwarfed in the length of the room. Compared to the look of the rest of the spa, it's like two different budgets and ‘designers’ were involved. Other good points… Some of the staff seem genuinely nice and helpful, there's strict guest only (checked) security to access the grounds, free safes in the room, WiFi too, and it's reliable enough to stream with a little buffering. On checking out, another receptionist merely said of the mattress and my injury: “Sorry about that.” There was still no acknowledgement of responsibility, nor even a token offer of restitution, she easily could have asked for a porter to help with my luggage. Overall, 2/5 - due to the poor quality mattresses and cleaning in the rooms, disappointing meals and the spa. It's a Five Star in facility provision only, not in quality. I hope they address the issues, it could be as fabulous as it easily should be. I'll stay at another resort on my next trip to the area. The Kassandra Palace is not spoiling yourself, it's budget and even then, the mattresses were unacceptable.

Stayed for 1 weeks holiday on 2nd May 2025 in room 116 at Kassandra palace Hotel Resort. This must be one of the best hotels for service standards I have stayed in my 50 years of traveling around the world. Service from reception to guest relations, cleaners, grounds workers, all service with a smile and nothing too much trouble and If they do not know they will find out for you. I can recommend this hotel to anybody. PRO's - super staff, friendly workers, Food, Cleaning(towel change and room sweep/clean), fresh water pools, spa, beach towels, so much to list all !! Night manager front desk- MAXIM - always very polite and knowledgable when I talk at 06.30 hrs on way down for morning swim. SOFIA - Guest relations in Resturant - excellent and friendly. STOYKA - cleaning Lady on first floor - always a well cleaned room - Thank you. CON's (constructive critisism) - breakfast fried eggs always too many cooked in advance - both not edible and a complete waste of eggs - suggest cooks to order. the hotel is very lucky to have visiting birds (swallows, swifts) - during May building nests under hotel roof's and overhangs - hotel staff removing /destroying nests ? (will you be happy when these birds do not migrate here anymore ?
