Karafuu is one of the most beautiful, peaceful hotels that I have visited. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient. The rooms on the beach are sensational. The sea water is beautiful and warm. The hotel is spotlessky clean Mohammed from the dive center is friendly and the snorkeling and lunch experience that he offers is great. Hasim at the tours desk is informative and does a great tour into the local town. Special mention to the waiters Peter, Ferick and Suliman for great service and Joel the pool bartender. All round excellent energy, beauty and fun with a capital F! We will definitely be back.

This Hotel and Resort is fantastic. 5 stars. The staff is very friendly. When you make a booking take full bord. That includes all your drinks and 3 x meals per day. The food is divine. The view is breathtaking.

Nice relaxing resort in the south of Zanzibar. The rooms are large and comfortable, with all the basics you need. They may benefit from a small renovating in some details, but overall it's a very good experience. There are three pools of salt water each with a swim up bar which is nice. Food at the main restaurant is overall good, despite a little repetitive from day to day. The fish and meat grill is especially tasty. There 1 2 thematic restaurant not included, one with pizza and one with seafood. Evening animation is not particularly high quality, but nothing that affected our stay. Overall, a really nice and relaxing place.

This place is paradise. It feels like heaven. I came here for my birthday, solo, and it has been the most rewarding! The place is quiet, great views from my room (310) little piece of heaven. 310 has my heart and I’ll surely be back. Next time, not alone. The staff are wonderful and kind; Frank at the reception, Sabrina ensured my room was always clean, Yunus at the front office, Mr Anthony, the guy who gave me golf cart rides to my room at night, amazing waiters and waitresses. Karafuu Beach Resort and SPA, you have my heart. I felt welcome, safe, cared for, I have been given attention, I am a happy girl 💕💕

Fantastic hotel. As a solo traveller I was looked after from start to finish. I wasn’t just a holiday maker I was family. Clean room every day with my room turned down and sprayed for the mosquitoes. Food a wide variety and nothing too much trouble. All amenities were great including the gym which had excellent equipment. Sad to leave but I will be returning
