A Fantastic Stay at Kalives Beach Hotel! Our stay at Kalives Beach Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made us feel at home. The food was delicious with plenty of variety to satisfy every taste. We especially enjoyed the entertainment — fun, well-organized, and a great way to end each day. A big thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so special. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We just had a FABULOUS! holiday with our seven year old twins at Kalyves Beach Hotel, Crete. Great location, delicious food, friendly people, comfortable room, the beach on the doorstep, the river, the indoor swimming pool - it was a truly unique experience. A special mention to reception lady Angeliki, who was super friendly, helpful and professional, and made our stay very comfortable. She was always willing to help, and went above and beyond her duty - one could see she truly enjoyed her work. Also to friendly Ria, who made our check-in easy. Special thank you to all always smiling and helpful catering and cleaning ladies. Furthermore, we were hugely impressed with the animation worker Iva - she was super friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. She was by far the best children club supervisor, kids' disco leader and animator we have ever met. She was also a fantastic yoga and water aerobics instructor. A true professional, able to multitask brilliantly, she made our stay very special and our kids loved her. We were very impressed by her easy going, yet professional attitude, lovely way with children, ability to speak multiple languages and attention to detail. Iva is a real asset to the company! Lastly, we absolutely need to mention Mathew, the GTravel company representative present at the hotel. He was very friendly, always with a smile, and outstanding in providing us all the information needed and sightseeing tips. He was an absolute delight to interact with. We were very comfortable in a car he loaned us and had magical sightseeing experiences. Thank you, Mathew! Finally, the entertainment provided by the hotel was world class - Tony the Magician, Belly dancing, Greek dancers - we enjoyed it very much. To sum up, we loved our holiday and we recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. My boys asked to 'go back and stay for a year there'. Thank you, Kalyves Beach Hotel! 😀

A Perfect Holiday at Kalives Beach Hotel! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kalives Beach Hotel, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — warm smiles, helpful advice, and genuine hospitality were constant throughout our stay. The location is ideal — right on the beach, with stunning sea views and just a short walk to the charming village of Kalives. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the sound of the waves was simply magical! What truly made the difference was the atmosphere created by the amazing team. The Guest Relations and Entertainment Manager did a fantastic job ensuring guests were happy, engaged, and well taken care of. The evening entertainment was a highlight — fun, lively, and perfect for all ages. The food was delicious, with a variety of local and international options, and always fresh. The pool area was well-maintained, and we loved the easy access to the beach for a swim or sunbathing. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and authentic Cretan charm, Kalives Beach Hotel is the perfect choice. We will definitely be back! Special thanks to momo.

Super hotel – definitely worth it! Rooms were cleaned every day, everything was spotless. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of traditional dishes and fresh fruit every day. Drinks? Really great! And the staff? Always smiling, helpful, and super friendly. The beach is just a short walk away – only 50 meters! Plus, the gym is open 24/7, so you can work out anytime. There were also daily activities and entertainment for both kids and adults – lots of fun every day!

Had an all inklusive stay for a week with the kids. Most of the stay is a four star rating, but the food is closer to a three. Some was good, but much of it tasted little. This is taking the price to consideration. For a family visit over a few days I would recomend this hotell. Lies perfectly by the Beach, good service and activities for the kids.
