This is rated as a 4 star however it was more like a 3.
The staff are just lovely really nice and so helpful.
The room itself is also lovely and clean however the bathrooms do not match the same care or attention. These could be done up.
If you’re looking for a peaceful time and somewhere with not much entertainment or activities this place is ideal.
I was there in end of June, I hired a car which was lucky as they don’t have any buses or taxi service running to the near by town until July. There was also no daily morning yoga which I was sad about. There is a massage room next to the gym which looks like it has not been used in years.
There are three pools which the kids loved however they could be cleaned a little more as the walls and center of the pool ground is a little gungy.
The public toilet area however was very clean.
You can walk to the near by town and a beach however in the heat and with hills a 20 odd minute walk is not very inspiring.
The food is awful there is a selection but nothing matches and I got six three of my seven nights which I’m sure was the food.
There is a small cove which you can do diving and snorkelling this was defo a highlight

Have just returned from a week all inclusive to the hotel and the staff are incredible!
My partner and I spent a week a the hotel and although the facilities and rooms are a little dated, we found that the staff, food and location is wonderful.
A special shout out to Dimitri and the lady at the front desk for helping up when we lost our car keys to our hire car, they went above and beyond to help us.
Our room was cleaned everyday and it had wonderful views of the ocean, it’s a great place to come and relax which is exactly what we needed, the hotel is very isolated so we would suggest hiring a car so you can get around but cabs to the local town of Plakias are only €8.
The food was plentiful and tasty with lots of variety, we really enjoyed the Greek salads and the orzo beef dish.
We were really happy with our holiday and loved the week we spent there it’s great value for money and I feel some of these reviews are very harsh.
Thank you Kalypso!

Spent the day in Kalypso Cretan Village Resort & Spa because I booked the scubadiving there. The place is nice and has a really beautiful view to the ocean. Besides that, I felt that the place needs a bit of cleaning, specially the bathrooms close to the pool.

Nice beach, but you must pay 7 € per one sunbed. There is a lot of Climbing routes from 6a to 7b. Deep water around 6 meter.

The hotel needs restoration. Old and broken sun loungers and umbrellas. In the room, the shower drain does not work, the water does not flow out, the door in the toilet was jammed, we could not open it for 5 minutes. The staff is not motivated. The trash in the pool is not removed during the day. There is almost no animation. Strange all inclusive system. They don’t give you water at the bar, they only sell it for 50 cents for bottle, they don’t make cocktails, only for 8 euros, or they can mix beer with Sprite instead of cider or Radler. Not all services from the description are available, for example table tennis is missing. The only saving grace is the location, it’s beautiful but windy.
