Overall, Kalima was an OK hotel, with some clear highlights and a few disappointments. We stayed in a Private Pool Family Suite. The room was large, spacious, and very clean, although there were a few worn details here and there. The private pool was a positive surprise: deep, proper size, and not at all a small splash pool like we had expected. Breakfast was excellent. The selection was very large and the quality was high. The bread in particular was really good and always felt freshly baked. The downside was the breakfast area itself, which was almost always fully packed between 8:30 and 9:30, and the atmosphere was quite noisy and hectic. Unfortunately, the food outside breakfast was not great and felt like it lacked care and attention. We tried the well known sushi restaurant one evening, and it was OK, but nothing memorable except the bill, which ended up being the most expensive meal of our entire trip. The cocktails at the pool bar were also very disappointing, among the worst we have had. The location is a bit unusual as well. To reach the small beach area you need to walk across a bridge. We would recommend walking or taking a tuk tuk further down the road to the beach outside the hotel, where there are more restaurants and free sunbeds, and both food and drinks are better.

The only problematic thing I had while staying at the hotel - there is a possibility to correspond through the app. There were several times that they answered me the day after. The perfect things - are for nature lovers. Amazing beach with lots of crabs, it is recommended to bring a snorkel! There is a stream near the hotel where you can kayak, which we enjoyed very much! The breakfast is fresh, varied and rich, the staff at the kids club was lovely, caring and kind. The room and pool were clean, although the lamp in the pool was broken. There is a shuttle through the hotel to the market in Khao Lak (it is recommended to go to the older market). I wish we could have stayed at the hotel longer! Thanks to all the hotel staff

We had a great experience with this resort. Beautiful place, rooms are fancy (we are picky). Stuff are awesome and friendly. Breakfast is amazing, big with many options buffet. It’s a place we will definitely gonna come back for. Many attractions for kids and adults.

It’s a bit on the pricey side, but overall a great stay. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of options. The hotel has a big pool and a beautiful private beach with a bar. There is also a café, restaurants, a shop selling clothes and beach accessories. A mini market, as well as another restaurant are right next to the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and ordering food and drinks through the room service app was very easy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly, and most of them spoke good English. The town is also a short drive away. The sushi restaurant was very nice, with amazing waitresses. Fast service and great food. Overall, a very nice experience and a place I would recommend.

stayed with my partner at the Kalima Hotel for two weeks, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The hotel perfectly matched what we were looking for: a relaxing vacation, mostly to spend quality time together as a couple, without the rush of doing too much sightseeing (since it’s not our first time in Thailand). We stayed in one of the Villas and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. Every detail was perfectly functional, and it offered great privacy since it was located at the end of the hotel, close to the beach. The food at the hotel was delicious. Breakfast offered a basic buffet, but both hotel restaurants had a good variety of dishes — from pasta to meat options — which I really appreciated as a picky eater. Service was 10/10 — the staff were always smiling and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. It was lovely to see that during our stay, there was even a day when the hotel organized a staff party on-site, and everyone looked so happy. The beach was nice — not really comparable to the Krabi area (those beaches are truly paradise!) — but it was perfect for relaxing on the loungers while listening to the sound of the waves. The spa was incredible, I received a massage that aligned each and every one of my chakras. The service was super nice, offering tea and cookies throughout. Points for improvement: there wasn’t always staff available at the beach kiosk; sometimes there was no one around to assist us or offer drinks. Other than that, I would 100% recommend this hotel:)
