Just got back from the most amazing stay at Kagi Maldives and honestly, it was perfection from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The location is unreal: incredibly peaceful and serene, surrounded by the most beautiful shades of blue and turquoise everywhere you look. It truly feels like you’re a world away from everything. I stayed in an ocean overwater villa and it was absolutely stunning — sleek, minimal, and beautifully designed, with direct access to the house reef. The architecture and decor throughout the resort are tasteful, clean, and understated, which makes the whole place feel calm and effortlessly luxurious. Diving and snorkelling were hands down a highlight. We saw dolphins, turtles, sting rays, sharks, and thousands of fish. The food was also excellent, with great variety and consistently high quality across all meals. My favourite had to be the Maldivian curry! And the spa…wow. Easily one of the best I’ve ever been to. Incredibly relaxing, rejuvenating, and the perfect way to completely switch off and reset. Overall, Kagi Maldives is a true slice of paradise. Would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway. Already dreaming of going back.

An unforgettable week at Kagi Maldives « perfection from A to Z » We spent one incredible week at Kagi Maldives, and everything was simply perfect from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the reception team, and throughout our stay every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Housekeeping was impeccable, the waiters and waitresses (Mohamed Wadif, Raakin, Mohamed Ismail, Dorji, Irfan…)were attentive and genuinely kind, and the overall service was outstanding. The food deserves a special mention: it was extremely varied, fresh, and absolutely delicious every day. A big thank you to Chef Mikael and his entire team (Chef Ignacio, Chef Jarov, Chef Carlo, Chef Darwin, Chef Shatura, Chef Neeraj…) for the amazing culinary experience. We would also like to sincerely thank Mr Areef, Mr Shafi (the doctor), Mr Maish for taking such great care of our villa, Miss Juliane (from Berlin, apologies if I misspelled your name), Mr Wiam, and all the staff whose names we may have forgotten but who contributed to making our stay so special. The spa experience was exceptional, my wife and mother absolutely loved it and had a truly relaxing and memorable time. A special thank you as well to Mr Areef and Mr Shafi for sharing a fun and memorable pickleball game with us, a great moment we won’t forget. Kagi Maldives is a true haven of peace, extremely quiet, calm, and perfect for relaxation, where luxury meets genuine hospitality. We leave with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended without hesitation. Morad & Family 🇩🇿 🇦🇪

Kagi Resort was the perfect resort of my life—an experience I’ll never have again. When choosing a resort in the Maldives, I thought long and hard, and the most important things for me were peace and privacy. Kagi has only 50 villas, so it’s not only quiet but also wonderfully private because the island itself is small. The biggest concern I had was the weather, but even when it rained, there was so much to do at Kagi. Regardless of the weather, the atmosphere and spaces Kagi offers are simply beautiful. Especially, I still remember the warm welcome and attentive service from our butler, Shinan, when we first arrived. His genuine care combined with wit impressed me throughout the trip, and he handled all my difficult requests with responsibility and grace. I want to express my special thanks to him. Who said the Maldives is boring and there’s nothing to do? Kagi Resort may be small, but there’s so much to enjoy. The daily buffet offered a variety of food stations every time, and meals prepared by Nonna and Keun were absolutely delicious. I was particularly impressed by the chefs’ professionalism and service. Chef Jarov never lost his smile and treated us warmly throughout our stay. The daily yoga classes were a perfect way to start the day, and the wellness center overlooking the ocean was truly stunning. As someone who loves skin diving, I went into the ocean every single day and encountered many marine creatures, including turtles—twice! The reef environment was excellent. From the Ocean Pool Villa to the reef, it only took five minutes, and the variety of marine life I saw every day created unforgettable memories. The spa at the spa center was more luxurious and professional than any I’ve experienced in Southeast Asia. And the drinks—wow! There were so many cocktail options, and each one was delicious. I want to give special thanks to the bartender who made my favorite cocktail even though it wasn’t on the menu. The wine selection was extensive, and I highly recommend trying Ernest Champagne. As for whiskey, my favorite Laphroaig was included in the PAI package, so I indulged a little too much every day. Finally, I want to thank the team at the marine sports zone. Both SUP and kayaking were so much fun, and they gave me the unforgettable experience of windsurfing in the Maldives. To all the staff, I send my warm regards and heartfelt thanks. I’ll definitely come back to the Maldives!

I reserved an ocean pool villa for three nights. The photos on Agoda and the official booking website showed unobstructed ocean views. However, upon check-in, I found the view from my villa blocked by large rocks (a seawall / 防波堤), which was very disappointing. I shared my disappointment with the staff and the manager. They understood my concern and, as the resort was fully booked on my first night, they arranged to move me to a villa with an unobstructed view the following day. I understand that showing the real picture with the seawall might affect bookings, but I believe customers should be aware of the actual view before making a decision. For others considering a stay: Kagi is a small, quiet, and relaxing island. There are only a few restaurants, which is understandable, and the food is good. The service is generally good as well.

WOW WOW WOW! PICKLEBALL IN PARADISE. We have just spent 10 days here and all I can say is its amazing. The island is beautiful the rooms are great, the food is excellent and the staff are brilliant. When travelling to the Maldives I choose the resort to stay in based on the reef and snorkelling but this one was different as my wife asked for Kagi Maldives due to it having a pickleball court. I read some reviews on the reef and decided to give it a go. I was blown away as its way better than I expected. The reef is vast and in good condition. The sea life was among the best we have had in the Maldives, this is our 7th resort and rate among it among the best so far. Previously we have visited Amari Havodda, Lily Beach, Amari Fushi, Dusit Thani, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Sun Siyam World. The thing that set this island apart is the staff they really bent over backwards to make our holiday amazing. They even spent hours every night playing with us on the pickleball court and they are very good so we had so much fun playing and laughing as the sun set over the court. This didn't stop play as the court is flood lit so we could carry on until the staff had to get back to work. Then we would head to the bar for a drink before a well earned dinner. Big shout out to the Pickleball team made up of the General manager Areef, IT Manager Ahmed, Hotel services manger Nasheed the Hotel Doctor Hassan and Yoga teacher Aditi who all played with us and made our holiday spectacular and one we will never forget. Thank you all and cant wait to see you again
