Over large and ageing but still excellent. the gardens are verdant, the pools large but inviting. The rooms are quite old but well maintained. Nothing to watch on TV. Our ground floor pool access room had a lovely terrace. The linen and pillows excellent. Quite a long walk to the adults pool where we were located. The food in this hotel is excellent, particularly the Italian. Benihana was a good experience and not too expensive.

We visited this JW resort for a week with our baby and really enjoyed the service. Everyone who works there is lovely and willing to help. The food is also quite awesome, from the breakfast buffet to all the restaurants. We loved all the meals that were cooked for us. Also, having pool access for our baby in one of the pool access rooms made it very stress free for him to wade around and do some swimming. The beach is also beautiful, quiet, untouched and clean. You get amazing sunsets, but do be careful of jellyfish as my husband was stung by one. This resort is massive and has a good number of restaurants to try out. The big highlight was the service, from all the friendly staff at breakfast, who went out of their way for little treats for us and baby. Dada who brought fresh avocados, Chef Atul for fresh Dosas, Megan in Loyalty, Hitesh the manager for doing what he can to make our stay more comfortable. The style of this JW is classic, but we would love to return once they've modernized the rooms and resort. They recently upgraded the Andaman Grill and it's beautiful!

Having stayed at this JW over 10 years ago with friends, I was excited to bring my partner back to see why I loved this place so much. The stay did not start too well, however, with a disappointing check-in experience. The process took a while, and we were told there was no room ready for us despite it being the official check-in time. While we were offered a complimentary drink in the bar as we waited, we would have much rather had the room available on time. Things improved when we went to the M Beach Club for a sunset drink and dinner. Jord was exceptionally helpful and generous with his time, and the dinner service from the rest of the team was first-class. Our evening ended in the lobby bar, which had a great vibe, with singers performing and well-made cocktails. The rooms were very spacious, and I especially appreciated the luxurious bedding. One small point for improvement would be to make it clearer which poolside seating has a fee attached - we tried to settle into a daybed only to be approached and informed there was a cost to sit there. Overall, while still an amazing venue, I wasn’t as blown away as I was during my first stay, especially when taking the cost into account.

I arrived at the JW Marriott Resort and SPA Phuket yesterday. It is a true 5-star resort. Everything is precisely set up and thought out in such a way that each guest can fully feel the benefits of the vacation. Even though it is a very large hotel, you don't have that feeling of crowding, on the contrary, the vast gardens with lots of vegetation make the feeling of a large hotel disappear. Along the entire opening to the sea, the beach areas and swimming pools are linked. The hotel has a very large opening to the water, and even though the beach is public, it is only used by the hotel guests. Guests can benefit from the volleyball or football field, or they can choose water sports for which the hotel provides various body boards or kayaks, etc. After happy hour, an elephant also appears to the delight and joy of the children and not only. The rooms are large, generous, well organized. The bathrooms are also very large and clean. The beds are enormous, I slept very well in our bed. Our family also had two adjoining rooms with a connecting door, so we had the feeling of an apartment. The hotel has several restaurants, last night we went to the Italian one for which we had to make a reservation a few hours in advance. Fabulous breakfast. For all tastes and requirements. Variety of dishes from classic Western to oriental ones. I recommend the French toast which they say is the best in Phuket. I believe them.😉

Wow! What an incredible place. We ended up extending our stay because of how fabulous this place is. If you are planning to visit Phuket, book this place without hesitation. It has everything. Everything. Kids entertainment area , tennis court, yoga, evening entertainment, cozy spots to hang out away from the guests, private beach, local stores, everything is here!!! The staff are so kind and they go out of their way to assist you. Truly Marriott. Dom checked us in and he was so wonderful. Smooth checkin and smooth checkout. I want to thank everyone and please continue doing what you are doing. It’s working.
