The most pristine and well-tended Marriot resort. Cleanliness is top-notched. Guest service is excellent: special mention to housekeeping manager Pupe, who was friendly and helpful! A beautiful beach and huge pools to swin around in. In-room dining and restaurants are amazing as well. The only issue is the location. It is far from the main areas of Khao Lak, and it is extremely tedious and expensive to travel in and out of the resort. I would suggest for the resort to provide alternative transport options that are more convenient and affordable.

WHAT A SPECIAL PLACE! We recently spent 11 nights at the JW Marriott Phuket and honestly didn’t want to leave! The property is beautiful, the staff are incredible, and the whole experience was relaxing. My husband celebrated his birthday during our trip and to say it did not go unnoticed would be an understatement! Dani and the loyalty team went all out, and even made a customized card for him. It was such a thoughtful touch! Dining was a pleasure. From day two, the breakfast team already knew our drink orders and had everything ready for us. Service at every restaurant was just as wonderful. There were kid-friendly accommodations at all of the dining venues and my needs for gluten-free food were happily met! Perhaps most importantly, the Kids Club was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! It’s temporarily hosted in the conference space while renovations are happening, but the amazing staff more than make up for it. Mui, Honey, Bella, Nui, Namwan, and others were so kind and caring with our son. I can't recommend them enough. He adored them and is already talking about going back! The resort might not be brand new, but it is so well cared for. You can really tell how much pride the team takes in keeping everything beautiful. One night they were repairing a walkway and had to dig up the landscaping, and by the next morning it was completely replanted and looked perfect again! We hardly left the property because everything we needed was right there. Beautiful pools, great food, and the friendliest staff you could imagine. 11 nights still didn’t feel like enough. We can’t wait to return! Thank you!!!!

The absolute best 5star experience.. Their breakfast is simply mind blowing and when they say the best French toast in Thailand they mean it I could not stop eating them. They have fresh fruits to eat as well as in juices... The hotel rooms are very spacious and very well equipped.. Since the hotel knew we were checking in with a child they had all the kiddies toiletries set up as well and also they kept kids room slippers as well along with adults. As I said every detail we'll thought thru.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed with attentive greetings and smooth, efficient check-in service. Breakfast was a highlight – the wide variety of choices, delicious flavors, and stunning sea view made every morning special. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. While waiting at the lobby for a food delivery, the staff proactively stepped in to help me communicate with the delivery rider. At the pool, the crew kindly offered to pump up our floats without us even asking. The only downsides were the dated condition of the room (though the service team responded promptly by sending over a dehumidifier when we gave feedback), and the kids’ club being under renovation, with the temporary play area and toys showing their age. Still, the friendliness and genuine care of the crew more than made up for it. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Exceptional service from one of the staff at the deli. Had to wait for a few hours before check in, she was attentive, diligent and apparently came with exceptional memory. She remembered our room number despite not having it to begin with. True Thai hospitality and very well done to her! Housekeeper who did our room on 24 Nov at around 1:30pm seriously delivered! He deserves a praise for the effort We came for a wedding, most of the wait staff were lacking lustre, mediocre engagement, kitchen staff were blithely and unaware when wedding speeches were delivered and to top it off we were declined a bottle of water by gym attendant/supervisor/manager after a 45 min run on the treadmill. We are now very inclined to share, our disappointment found new lows for a JW Marriott tiered resort. Highly unlikely to return and pleased to know we will always be better looked after at an Accor brand.
