We had a fantastic stay at JW - Very beautiful resort for a vacation! The staff made a great effort and was always very attentive (e.g., cake and beautiful room decoration as a surprise for my birthday). A variety of daily activities is offered for free, e.g., kayaking, excursions, garden tours and sports like boxing and yoga – definitely take the JW Garden tour, it’s very impressive. The beach is very beautiful, well-maintained and great for taking long beach walks. The breakfast was exceptional, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences (loved the fresh smoothies). There are separate areas for adults (12+) and families, such as at the beach, breakfast rooms and pool – that was very pleasant. However, at the beach, free loungers were often only available in the family area. Not much going on around the hotel, but there are two small supermarkets next to the hotel.

5 stars to the staff. Aof and Fon. 5 stars - Lovely rooms. Still beautiful after all these years. 2 stars - Only downside is they don't know how to control the volume from the music. Asked for a quiet room and was put in 3220 and for 2 days was perfect on 3rd day music from the pool bar which is outside the balcony. Was quiet for 2 days. Some zones of the hotel should be dedicated to quiet spaces so guests can relax instead of always being bombarded with music. Theme is to relax and reconnect with nature.

Our stay was simply magical! The kids’ club was fantastic – our child had so much fun, and we could truly relax. The specialty restaurants were out of this world, with every meal a masterpiece. We dined twice at Olive and once at Ta Krai – both were amazing. And the Sunset BBQ? Simply outstanding! The beach? Breathtaking! A true postcard paradise – and best of all, almost empty. What truly sets this hotel apart is its impeccable service. If ever a small issue arose, it was fixed instantly – with warmth and care. This hotel doesn’t just promise 5-star luxury, it delivers.

Tips and Tricks: The hotel provides beach towels, factor 50 sunscreen, and cold water for the beach and pool in a few locations - but they don’t educate their guests on this. Note: I stayed on the third floor and there were no lifts/elevator where I was. May want to consider having help with your luggage. Not a problem- just something to be aware of. There is also free glass drinking bottles of water in the room. I would also share that the lower beach is clay based - so the water is less clear and not good for snorkelling. The upper beach area is sand. Tips: you can get fresh cold coconuts for less than half the Marriott price, from the friendship restaurant (on the beach next to the Marriott). There are also great restaurants nearby, like Pam’s. There are also a couple of mini super markets just outside - like a 3 min walk, for sun lotions, snacks, etc. The Marriott was great - clean, professional, friendly. Stunning location - great restaurants. Highly recommend. There is a drainage channel out the front of the hotel that appears to have some rubbish in it and it could be cleaned up.

We really enjoyed our stay here and were impressed by the size of the hotel and all the activities offered. Several sport activities, lagoon kayaking, garden tours etc are complimentary and there was literally nothing which was missing from our side to enjoy the days here. We can especially recommend the sunrise yoga, tennis and squash court and the hike to the waterfall - truly amazing! Beachfront is superb and ordering drinks from the beach bar via QR code world smooth and is very cool. The rooms were also amazing and super clean. The only minus point is that sometimes we had the feeling that due to the size service is lacking a bit especially for breakfast. No matter when it was always very busy and waiting time for coffee was very long and in addition they mixed up our order four days in a row (coffee instead of matcha, iced instead of hot or the other way around).
