Marriott resort is an amazing hotel to stay. It’s specially great for families with children. There is private beach with many swings. You can watch sunset and sunrise from the swings. The turtle shelters have a few turtles that families and kids can both enjoy together. The garden is amazing and beautiful. The staffs are very friendly and polite. They are on call 24/7 and they’ll be there to help if anything happens. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Beautiful resort! Private beach access and several beautiful pools. You never feel like you’re crowded with other tourists and there’s plenty of room to feel relaxed like you’re on your own private vacation. The hotel features a garden where they grow herbs for the local cuisine and they also help rescue sea turtles as well.

Loved the hotel. Such a short drive from the airport, however quite far from the city & Bagla Rd.
The hotel is great for a quiet stay, especially with kids. Has a great kids club with various activities. Loads of activities for the adults too. Water-sports equipment like kayaks, paddle boards etc.
It also has a turtle sanctuary.
The rooms are great too!

Cucina Italiana - The worst experience ever had at a JW property. This boasted "authentic Italian Cuisine" which was FAR from the mark. Firstly, I made reservations for my family and specifically requested to be seated by a widow. Upon arrival 10 minutes early, we were told we have no available tables by a window. I pointed to an empty 6 top (which remained empty the entiretly of our meal) but were told we were a party of 4 and cannot be seated. We were placed in the middle of the dinning room. Things went down hill from there. The food was mediocre at best. I watched my daughter's pizza die under a heat lamp for over 10 minutes before it was served to us; my son and I ordered chicken parmasian (granted an italian american dish) and it was served with ham, a tasteless red sauce, atop a dry hunk of chicken. The crust was a wet doughy paste and it was accompanied by french fries (Italian cuisine?) and a crappy salad all for $25 USD (neither my son nor I were able to eat more than half of the chicken). I could have had a more authentic italian meal at Denny's USA. If I spend in excess of $150 USD at a restaurant I expect at least somewhat of a quality meal, and this is a JW Marriott, Marriot's flagship hotel!

This resort was very nice. Even though I stayed at a different Marriott down the street we came to this for the spa, some food and a fire show. It is a beautiful place right on the beach. Definitely recommend of you come to Phuket. And it is close to the beach.
