We had a great stay at the Jumeirah Saadiyat Island hotel. The facilities that the hotel had to offer were brilliant. The beach was breathtaking! The service was exceptional, all of the staff that served us during our stay were extremely attentive and could not do enough for you. No hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone else.

The room, the location, the impeccable service and cleanliness, the food, the friendly staff, from reception, to the room service staff, to the folks in White, to the Kids’ Club staff and to the beach and pool staff…we are very very happy with our decision and will definitely be back. This is the first time I’m leaving a 1 star review for any business, and I’m doing this because my experience was bad. It’s the most expensive hotel I’ve been, and also the worst. We paid roughly 14,000 AED per night, which is about 3,800$ for each night. And I can say it was not a good value for money. Probably one of the biggest waste of money I’ve ever made. First, room was dirty. Had to tell housekeeping to clean the balcony, maybe they forgot or it wasn’t part of their routine, no idea. On certain day, had to call housekeeping to even show up at all. The room is not well maintained. Tiles are stained, rugs look old, and the sofa looked dirty. It was difficult to allow our baby to crawl around as it didn’t look clean. You would think for a 3,800$/night room, you would get some drinks in the mini bar, but no, still had to pay for the sprite I took from the tiny fridge in the room. We also had to pay for the pina colada we got in the restaurant. And there were also flies in the restaurant. The living room was big, but not practical. It has a single socket on the wall behind a curtain white far from the seating area, so if you need to charge, you would need to move to the socket and sit around the dining. Not a bad hotel overall, just overpriced. If I had paid about $1000 per night for this experience I would have found it cool, the value is about 4 times less time the cost. I had to ask the receptionist to reconfirm that we didn’t overpay. Because the service and entire experience was just ridiculous for what we paid. And we checked out a night earlier because we just got tired of the whole place. They need to do better.
