Celebrated my birthday at this hotel what an amazing experience. Stylish, elegant, staff and service was absolutely outstanding. A special mention to the manager Francois in Guest Services that was professional and went over and above to assist us with our requirements and ensure we had an amazing stay. Dear Jumeirah Mina A’Salam Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding an unpleasant and unacceptable experience I had with your valet service team my visit on [April 17, 2025,Timing at 8:15 pm]. Upon my arrival, I encountered highly unprofessional behavior from both the valet manager and the valet attendants they even refused to give me their names(Gurpreet-Subass) . Instead of receiving the warm and respectful welcome that is expected from a hotel of your esteemed reputation, I was met with shouting, rude language, and an overall dismissive and aggressive attitude. Their behavior was not only disrespectful but completely out of line for a service that is meant to reflect the hospitality and excellence associated with the Jumeirah brand. As a guest, I felt humiliated and deeply upset by the way I was treated, and I believe no customer should be subjected to such treatment. I urge you to take this matter seriously and investigate the conduct of your valet team. This incident has significantly affected my perception of your hotel, and I sincerely hope appropriate action will be taken to ensure this does not happen to any other guest in the future. I would appreciate a prompt response and an update on how this complaint is being addressed.

The general concept of the whole area, including the hotels, water channels that connect them, and the beach, was fantastic. Especially the water channels and, of course, the ABRA's running around the channels were a great vision and concept..I have to mention about two ABRA driver separately, Kenneth from Philipinnes and the other friend from Sri Lanka-sorry can not remember the name- about their considerate and gentle/friendly attitudes..Ms Müzeyyen and Ms Huma from the front desk..and WhatsApp butler team :) Thank you all..

This hotel is stunning, set in location with beautiful views, a great choice of restaurants, access to river taxis, and just a stones throw away from the beach. Every hotel guest gets free access to the wild wadi water park which was a nice add in. It’s difficult to find fault with this hotel - the only downside being the pillows in the hotel which I didn’t find to be very comfortable. The customer service and room service of all staff was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel.

It might have a five star badge at the front door, but my gosh standards have slipped and the new staff operate like cold machines. It’s almost like the Mina Salam is like the training centre for the Jameirah range of Hotels. It’s now become a hotel whereby, you check yourself in, use the facilities, pay your bill and checkout. As a family we have been visiting the Jameirah hotels on the Madinat for the last 10 years and always book direct. This year was the worst experience from the group I’ve ever had. The main thing was the frostiness/coldness of staff, normally, the staff are very engaging, willing to help, make you feel like “a guest”, make you and your family feel “welcome”. The attention to detail was lacking when they presented me with a cake on the wrong date and a card written by a 5 year old. Room - Very nice as expected. House keeping was on point and I give thanks and credit, where credit is due. Facilities - You’d expect two pools (at least they did the last time we were there) but you get one tiny pool which is over crowded and in the sand. You then have to get on a buggy each day to use one of the other pools on the complex?? What’s the point in making half the hotel pools exclusive when you have paying guests staying at the hotel? Are the paying guests not exclusive guests? Are those that visit year-on-year not valued enough to use the services of two pools?……It makes a difference to have a pool near the room as guests like to go up to the room if they forget something. Instead the paying guest has to catch a buggy, then walk 1/4 mile to get to the room (they only have one lift core). If I’d known it would be this much of an aggravation, I would have booked one of the other hotels with pool closer to the hotel room. They did try to make things better in the last two days and a real effort was noticed, the staff seemed more alert and ‘engaged’. They even got my birthday correct with a beautifully hand written card. Big shout out to Moshin and Lucky who made my day very special at breakfast and by the Al Qusar pool (even though I was staying at the mina). I did notice that 75% of guests were Russian. Maybe they only want Russian clients now? Maybe the Russian clients need not for a warm greeting or a genuine “how are you this morning?” After 10 years of being loyal to the Jumeirah brand, it looks like we’re going to have to look elsewhere for our Easter break as I) it's a shame that Jumeirah Hotel hospitality is no longer what it used to be, ii) neither do they value guests who book direct and visit year-on-year. ***despite Jamie commenting below. No one from the team reached out. LOOKS LIKE TALK IS CHEAP.
