The Joy Island All-Inclusive concept includes the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the main restaurant,
  • Afternoon tea/coffee with snacks (4.30pm to 6pm)
  • Bottled water and drinks served by the glass, including soft drinks, beer, espresso, sparkling wine, house wine and pouring spirits such as gin, vodka, whiskey, brandy, tequila, rum, arrack and martini (10am to 12 midnight, drinks consumed after 12 midnight will be charged at the normal rate)
  • Selected cocktails and mocktails
  • In-room Mini bar, replanished daily with soft drinks, water, beer, red and white wine

We had a pleasant stay on Joy Island! We liked the family beach villa with the gekkos and birds, the big bed, and our cleaning assistant Ali was superb, he did everything for us. Our Island host, Maral was super, she organized everything for us we wanted, and more, that we haven't even thought about. The food was excellent at the Market, special thanks to Ashram, out waiter and the fruit counter host. Entertainment was great at the Rainbow Bar, themed parties every night with live music. The singers are excellent.

My stay at Hotel Joy in the Maldives was truly unforgettable! I especially want to highlight the fantastic service at the bar – a huge thank you to Ray, Yamin, Sahil, Roza, and Alisha. You were always cheerful, attentive, and made every day feel special with your kindness and positive energy. The cocktails were perfectly prepared and always served with a smile – absolutely amazing! 🍹✨ A special thanks also goes to Ganga from housekeeping – my room was always spotless, beautifully arranged, and cared for with so much attention to detail. You can really tell that the whole team works with heart and dedication. Overall, it was a dream vacation at Hotel Joy in the Maldives, with service that truly comes from the heart. Wonderful new resort with amazing staff and perfect atmosphere. We had a fantastic stay at Joy Island Maldives — it’s a beautiful new resort, perfectly maintained and with a truly amazing team that knows exactly what to do and how to make guests feel welcome. Everyone was exceptionally kind, especially towards children, and the Kids Club offered a very nice and varied program, our son loved it! Special thanks to the restaurant team — Dita, Gita and Adnan — for their outstanding service and kindness throughout the week. A big thank you to the chefs at the pasta corner, from our little boy who spent the whole week happily eating their pasta! And also warm thanks to Hilson from Concierge for his professional and friendly assistance. The service level was excellent, and the gastronomy very good for this type of resort. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer a bit more Asian cuisine — perhaps a Thai or pan-Asian corner with fresher, lighter flavours beyond the local and Indian curries. We stayed in both the beach villa and water villa — both were great, but for families with small children, we’d especially recommend the beach villa (without pool) on the less windy side of the island. Perfect access to the beach and great value for money. Overall, an absolutely lovely experience — relaxing, warm, and memorable. We’ll be happy to return! 🌴✨

We had such rocking time. Very hospitable staff in any department. Delicious food, international spread. Beautiful coral garden 🪸 full of live.
