We came on our honeymoon from 11/30/25-12/5/25 and had the best trip ever. Service was beyond excellent, especially from our evening butler Alain and all of our other butlers. They ensured we had a great trip and our every need was met. The food was delicious, my wife especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. We got a swim out suite and the room and pool were awesome. The foam party was a blast too. We’re looking forward to returning!

We just had our honeymoon here 10/16-10/23 and couldn’t have picked a better place! The staff was so amazing, nice, and helpful. Our Butlers Owen, Gary, and Ralston went above and beyond for us. Always made sure we were comfortable and checking in with us. Owen had the best dance moves! Gary decorated our room for our honeymoon celebration and was the sweetest! Our room cleaner Sharon was the sweetest soul! She knew our names from the first day we met her and made us feel like family. She gave us hugs in the hallway and always had a smile on her face. The resort was very clean, well kept, and so fun! The grounds crew did an awesome job raking sand every morning and friendly to all the guests. There was no sargassum in the ocean either! We will for sure be back to this beautiful resort and we can’t wait to see everyone again!

We visited JOIA to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and we could not have chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff is truly exceptional, always attentive, professional, and dedicated to ensuring every guest’s comfort and satisfaction. A special note of appreciation goes to Rennardo, our butler, whose outstanding service made our stay unforgettable. From beginning to end, he ensured that all our needs were met and that we were fully enjoying our time at the resort. My husband loves to sing, and wherever we travel, we always look for a karaoke venue. Unfortunately, the days we were at JOIA did not coincide with the hotel’s karaoke nights. Thanks to Rennardo’s initiative, he discovered that a nearby property was hosting karaoke and personally escorted us there so my husband could perform. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made a lasting impression and created a memory we will always cherish from our trip to Montego Bay. We stayed at JOIA for four days, but it simply wasn’t enough time to experience all that the resort has to offer. We wished we could have stayed longer. Everything, from the exceptional food and entertainment to the luxurious amenities and impeccable service, was beyond our expectations. We are already looking forward to returning in the future.

This was the 1st vacation that my husband and I had in 17 years and JOIA did not disappoint! The food- starting the day at the coffee shop was a must! We loved the omelets at breakfast. Lunch grilled at the beach was amazing. Dinner was awesome, our favorite was the Jamaican! The pools- going in early October was perfect, we had a cabana everyday, I had a float anytime I wanted one! The young woman handing out towels every morning had the most infectious smile everyday! They have sunscreen available, one less thing to pack! Get a dirt banana from the pool bar-it does not disappoint! The service- OMAR WAS THE BEST!! He was our butler and anytime I even thought I needed something, he was magically there, it was like he was the butler from Mr.Deeds! The rooms- our view was beautiful, my husband I would start the day with coffee and end it with drinks on our balcony! The staff was fantastic with the turn down service and helping us celebrate! The beach- I was up before the sun everyday so I would grab my book, head to the beach and read as the sun came up! I always felt safe and it was so calm and beautiful!!!

We went for our honeymoon and then had to stay because of Hurricane Melissa. Even before the storm hit the staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff and entertainment crew were incredible preparing everyone once flight cancellations hit and Melissa was intensifying into a Cat 5. We are so lucky to have been at JOIA during the hurricane as the entire staff managed all the logistics of dealing with the hurricane, keeping everyone very safe and as comfortable as we could be. A special thanks to the entertainment crew for constantly keeping everyone's morale up and also Smiley, Deivy, Mr. Fresh, and Ace for great volleyball games. All the staff sacrificed so much to keep things moving smoothly at the resort; I hope everyone stays safe and the hotel and Jamaica as a whole bounces back quickly from the storm.
