We visited Joia Bávaro for our anniversary and had a fantastic time. The rooms were spacious and cleaned many times throughout the day. We had the ocean front suite and the view from the balcony and throughout the room was great. The facilities were amazing and all the restaurants were delicious. The butler service (Houston, Jose and Alex) was top notch and they had very quick response times to all our requests for reservations or needs within the room. The beach, pool, bars and spa were all excellent with very attentive staff to make sure every need was satisfied. The golf course was beautiful and in great shape. We will definitely be booking our next vacation getaway with Iberostar and would highly recommend this resort.

This place was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The service was so incredible. Our butlers Houston and Valentin were so wonderful and attentive to everything we needed throughout the entire vacation. Our Prestige beach staff was amazing with Manuel and Augusto. Our evening dinner coordinators were so accommodating with Angel and Johnny and Julian. Could not ask for a better group of people to make a birthday vacation a 10 out of 10. Super blessed to have met everyone and we are so excited to be able to come back next year. Would highly recommend this resort.

Let me start with gratitude for our amazing butlers Armando and Valentine! The adult-only side was beautiful and peaceful, the accommodations exceptional. We appreciated the wonderful food, friendly staff, the meticulously cared for grounds, and plentiful cabanas. It felt like home - thank you all!

My wife and I have two kids in college and two more at home, so we wanted a quick getaway to rest and recoup. JOIA Bavaro was the perfect remedy. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious the entire staff wanted us to feel taken care of. The food at the five restaurants on property was excellent and the views from the beach are breathtaking. Armando & Valentine were our butlers for our stay and they were willing to accommodate any request enhancing our experience. Overall, it was an amazing trip and we plan on bringing the kiddos with us to one of their other properties soon.

Lack of proper air conditioning (not cool enough) was an issue. NEVER resolved. We lost total power in our room on two occasions during our week here. Never thought I would need to learn where the electrical panel was located. Every other experience during our visit was exceptional. Our butlers, Jose and Houston, were attentive and made sure our stay was exceptional. Our housekeeper, Lucy, was a shining light. Our room was ALWAYS in perfect order. We can't thank Jose, Houston, and Lucy enough for their outstanding service.
