Rosina Munzipapa
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful experience with Ray and Armando as our butler service. Ruby at the buffet took very good care of me. Everyone at the spa is fantastic. The star prestige at the beach. They were all fantastic. Elizabeth at members area at the lobby bar makes the most fantastic espresso martinis. Rosa in housekeeping took very good care of our room.

We stayed here for 10 days and absolutely loved every single moment! From start to finish, the staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Our butlers, Houston, Jose, and Victor were absolutely amazing and checked in on us frequently to make sure everything was perfect. Prestige Club members Junior and Rosa were wonderful as well, always happy to help with reservations or even arranging a bottle of wine whenever we needed one. The team at the Prestige Beach, Majarez, Augusto, and Martin were fantastic! They always made sure the cabana beds were set up perfectly and kept the awesome drinks coming. The nightly entertainment was so much fun, and we especially loved the Star Friends dancers Mumba, Chocolate, and Smile, along with the incredibly talented singer D’Bunet. We also want to give a special shout-out to Perla from evening housekeeping. Her thoughtful touches, like rose petals on the bed and an adorable swan couple made from hand towels, made us feel so special and truly pampered. Restaurant hostess Jessica always greeted us with the warmest smile and made every dining experience even better. There was also a wonderful waitress at the lobby bar in the evenings, unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but she has long straight brown hair, usually worn in a ponytail, and the cutest nail art. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, and even when we weren’t at the bar, she would warmly greet us whenever she saw us around the hotel. This resort exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to return!

We just completed a week long stay at JOIA Bavaro and it exceeded our expectations! Everything was clean, inviting and fun. The staff made our experience exceptional! A spacial thanks to Reynaldo and Cofe for providing us the best butler services. They were very accessible and supported us with anything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the hydrotherapy pools on a few occasions, which was an absolute delight. The food was always delicious! The live shows and karaoke were a lot of fun on the ship! Shoutout to the entertainment staff and to “Snoop Dogg” for creating an environment full of laughter. We also enjoyed bumping into Bruno often for drinks! Thanks to Jhonny for helping us pick out tasty bottles of wine. Everyone feels like a family here. We’ll be back!

The entertainment staff was so friendly and very entertaining! (Chocolate, black mambo, sugar, smiley, snoop dog). Reynaldo (butler) was very accommodating. He took care of our every need quickly. Our concierge, Emanuel , was also very accommodating. The bartenders and wait staff were so friendly (Tobias and ely are great bartenders and so friendly). The entire staff is very friendly and made us feel right at home! The resort is kept very clean and is beautiful! We hate to leave! The entertainment, the shows and the singers were excellent especially the circus! I loved participating in the water Arobics each day especially the cycling with the instructor Angel!

This was our first time to the Dominican Republic and we loved it !! The grounds and rooms are cleaned non stop. They are all very kind people and extremely helpful no matter what your needs are. The food was better than most all inclusive we’ve been to. The nightly entertainment was fun! The BEST part of our trip was thanks to our butlers Valentin and Junior! They made sure we were well taking care of and attending to our needs in a very timely matter. Absolutely the nicest guys ever!! We will be returning and we will definitely request them when we do! We will be recommending JOIA to all our family and friends !!
