Wow!!! What a fabulous place to spend a week! Our butler Cofe was extremely helpful and just a text message away if we ever needed anything extra. Our housekeepers Anyi an Betty made 100% sure our room was up to perfect expectations. Room was spacious and well appointed. Pools were pristine and were accompanied by waiters and waitresses ready to take drink orders. Restaurants were beautiful, the food was top notch and the wait staff were very attentive. All in all, not sure how the JOIA Bavaro "experience" could be topped by any other resort.

Houston, our butler, was great! He was attentive and anticipatory. Resort was everything we hoped for. Good food, good drinks, friendly service. As a reference, We do appreciate good food and consider ourselves novice to mid level foodies. 😀 We thoroughly enjoyed our swim out suite. Nice outside space. Good amount of sun over the swim out pool from roughly 11-5 pm - visited in mid May. Couch and table sitting area always in the shade!

It was an amazing experience. The little details are what make a trip special like the landscaping the housekeeping. The food was great. Lots of great activities to keep us busy. The pool cabanas were so comfortable. Our butler’s Alex and Jose l were the highlight of the trip. They decorated our room with rose petals, a banner, chocolate covered strawberries, and a little cake and champagne for my wife’s birthday. It created an amazing experience

My husband and I just spent 5 days at JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar. This was our first getaway in several years. The staff were exceptionally kind and the service we were given was more than we could have imagined. The resort itself was beautiful and well maintained. Our butler, Jose, was very knowledgeable about the resort and answered any questions we had. He was also extremely helpful in making any necessary reservation. The room service was exceptional and our room was cleaned numerous times throughout the day. The only negative we found was the beds were not comfortable to sleep on. We will most currently refer this resort to friends and family and visit another Iberostar resort in the near future!

The JOIA Bávaro resort was absolutely fantastic. It exceeded all of our expectations and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The highlight of the trip was far and away the staff. Our butler, Houston, was fantastic. He always had a smile on his face and every time he saw us he made sure we were having a great time. He even provided us with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne one evening as a surprise for our honeymoon. The front desk staff was just as helpful and accommodating. The bar staff, from the lobby bar to the pool bar, was fantastic. They interacted very well with the guests and they too always had a smile on their face. Lastly, the buffet staff was excellent. They made the buffet more than just a place to load up on food. They were fun and friendly and made a lasting impression on us. It was very hard to not choose the buffet every night simply because of the staff. A huge shoutout to Amelin for making our meals their memorable and special.
