Location and the rooms were really good, but we were really disappointed regarding the service, we check in at 7.00 p.m. they asked us whether we are gonna check in for lunch or dinner and we informed them that we will check in for dinner we paid for 1 night full board, next morning we were asked to check out early as they want the room, how pathetic is it to ask a customer to vacant the room when we have already paid for full board when the check out time should be after lunch??? Disappointed

The hotel is placed on a beautiful location with empty beaches. We loved relaxing by the pool and taking walks on the beach where the lifeguards gave us some beautiful big shells they had collected. All the staff were very friendly, including the ones at the pool, restaurant, beach, the cleaning staff and those at reception. The head chef helped us to find out where their products are from (as we wanted to purchase). The food was delicious. The room, balcony and the bathroom were spacious. Bed was massive with plenty of soft pillows. We took a triple room for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Would recommend booking a room with sea view and perhaps at the far end of corridor so you are closer to view of sea and beach (if you don’t mind walking a bit). A very big thank you to the hotel for allowing us to charge our electric car. They didn’t even charge us for it. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location - the national park surrounds it on one side and the ocean waters flowing into the beautiful beach on the other. If you're lucky, you'll meet an elephant that comes to drink water from the hotel's pool. Although the location is breathtaking, the hotel itself is in need of a refresh. The standard of the rooms is fine, but during our stay the air-conditioning was noisy (something was creaking inside) and there was an unpleasant smell in the absurdly large and empty bathroom. The food is fine, we only used the buffet option and if you want to come for dinner, expect food to be scarce after 9pm. Service is neutral, at times giving the impression of absence.

Magnificent location, right on the beach and not far from Yala National Park.
Restaurant options, including dinner on the deck, brilliant buffets.
Top class service.
Huge pool, with a pool bar.
Gym and spa (massages etc).
Plenty of local wildlife too, with a resident Giant Squirrel visiting the tree behind the pool bar who is happy to pose for photos, monkeys on the roof (and the restaurant deck at breakfast), cows and a couple of elephants.

If you intent to have a break and some quality time on vacation, one of the best places, Huge rooms with large bathrooms. Staff is commendable for their hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness. Has a good spread at all 3 meals to suit your taste buds. The bar has a good collection to support many choices. It's a very calm and a quiet place out of the busy concrete jungles. Average size gym and the large pool keeps you busy.
