We stayed at Jasmine Palace Resort & Spa, and while we had a good time overall, we wouldn’t personally consider it a true 5-star experience when compared to other resorts in the same category. The food was genuinely fantastic – great variety, delicious options, and always fresh. We also really enjoyed the coffee, which was surprisingly good and a lovely way to start the day. However, the rooms are very outdated and could definitely use a refresh to match the luxury level the resort claims. Furniture, decor, and even some of the amenities felt worn and in need of modernizing. One thing that made us uncomfortable was the constant pressure from staff for tips especially from the staff that was cleaning our room. We understand tipping is part of the culture, but when it becomes too frequent or expected, it starts to take away from the relaxed experience. It made us feel a bit pressured rather than welcomed. That said, the resort still offers good value for the price, especially when it comes to food and location. Just don’t go in expecting the same standards you might find at other 5-star resorts.

I recently stayed here + overall, had a super lovely experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but what t r u l y stood out was the staff. From housekeeping to the restaurant, animation + pool teams; the wonderful people working here are incredibly dedicated, friendly, + quite clearly work very hard to create a great experience for guests. That said, there’s an issue that really deserves attention from top management: While tipping is a personal choice + often a gesture of appreciation, it felt like service levels were directly tied to how much a guest tipped — especially around the pool, restaurants + concierge services. That’s disappointing + creates an uncomfortable dynamic — one that shouldn’t exist at a resort where everyone is paying significant amounts to be there. It’s simply not right to place this type of "burden" of staff wages on guests, many of whom already stretch their budgets to afford a special holiday for themselves + their children. Tipping should be a bonus, not a necessity to receive standard service. It’s absolutely management’s responsibility to pay staff fair, livable wages that reflect their hard work + professionalism. To the leadership at Jasmine Palace Hotel: You have a truly OUTSTANDING team. Please consider showing that appreciation not just through words, but through pay. Your guests will notice the difference, and your staff will thrive.

I recently stayed at Jasmin Palace Resort and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a great location and the facilities are decent for a relaxing holiday. What really stood out to me was the reception team — they were polite, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Check-in was smooth and they made sure I felt welcomed from the start. Thanks to them, the stay felt more comfortable. Would consider coming back in the future.

Outstanding experience – highly recommended! One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly respectful, friendly, and genuinely eager to help with anything. Their level of hospitality was truly impressive. The food was absolutely delicious — great quality, variety, and very well prepared. Every meal was a pleasure. The overall service, cleanliness, and attention to detail were top-notch. You really get excellent value for your money here. I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Having fab time at Jasmine Palace. All staff are extremely friendly and the place is spotless. Active Pool animation team are so lovely, they try to encourage people to take part in activities but absolutely no pressure and they just really just good fun. We spent most of our time at this pool, but plenty of other pools if you have small kids or the adults pools are lovely and very quiet. Food is very good, international cuisine and plenty to choose from. We paid for sea view room and it’s right on the beach with beautiful view, a short walk to main reception area and restaurants but we are happy with that’s as it’s what we asked for! We had a problem with our air conditioning when we arrived, they tried to fix it but couldn’t, so moved us rooms very quickly and sent us help to move our cases etc so no complaints from us!! We are already planning to come back for some winter sun!!
