We stayed here at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and my entire family had an amazing experience. We traveled by car from Sicily and the first person we met in Malta was Robert, the concierge at InterContinental Malta. We couldn't have asked for a better person to greet us, inform us about the hotel and the areas to visit in Malta. The food at the hotel was delicious and the staff was attentive. In fact the entire staff at the Opal Lounge to include the female manager and Kumar were very kind and professional. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Room service was prompt and polite as well. My family of 5 will definitely return to the InterContinental when we visit Malta. If you are considering staying anywhere that is kid friendly with excellent customer service, look no further.

The staff is super attentive and the customer service is on point. You can tell the hotel's got some years on it because there are spots where the furniture and corners look a bit lived-in, but they keep everything super clean and well-kept. The Byredo bath products are totally standout, and the breakfast is top. It was a delightful stay.

Only words of praise, we only spent 24hrs to celebrate my son's birthday and it was a very good decision 😊 service was top notch especially at the club lounge and concierge. Super friendly with children and even decorated our room and left goodies for the children. Highly recommend and we'll surely visit again.

I gave this place a 3 based upon my 2 other stays at IHG this month. I really think management needs to contact the IHG in Warsaw and in Bucharest to see what works for them. The staff are very friendly and I honestly do think they were doing their best to help me. I needed their help a few times and they did earnestly try to help. For example, I have the Ambassador status. Which i do recommend purchasing. However, when I asked about it. It seems much of the staff was misinformed and gave conflicting information. There were other issues but not worth mentioning. The hotel is 5 stars but I'd say 5 stars from the 1990's. You won't find any charging ports next to the bed. Internet is okay but not the best. Beds were 3 out of 5 stars. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are on a budget but there are way better hotels if you want the 5 star experience. The location is the best if you want to be in party central. There are many amenties within the hotel for family fun: game rooms, pool, etc.
