I had a truly remarkable stay at the InterContinental Malta. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel facilities are excellent, from the pool and beach club to the dining options, everything felt high quality and thoughtfully prepared. The location is also ideal, with easy access to both the vibrant nightlife and peaceful spots to unwind. Overall, my experience exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta, and I look forward to returning on my next trip.

Our family of 4 recently stayed at the Intercontinental Malta and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ensuring our needs were taken care of. Check-in and check-out were seamless and hassle-free. Although breakfast times can get busy, we were consistently seated quickly. The restaurant staff worked tirelessly to keep the area clean and ready for the next guests, and the wide variety of food always left us satisfied. Our room was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a lovely view of the courtyard and outdoor swimming pool. The hotel’s facilities are excellent, including both indoor and outdoor pools, a large gym, and a spa. There are also multiple dining options available on-site. A special thanks to the concierge team, especially Chris and James, for their outstanding assistance. They helped us arrange day trips and dinner reservations, and Chris went above and beyond by ensuring my son was reunited with items he had accidentally left behind after our stay. We highly recommend the Intercontinental Malta to anyone looking to stay in the lively and bustling area of St. Julian's.

was not satisfied with my stay at all. The hotel is 23 years old and I honestly don’t know how it still has 5 stars. The location is in the heart of St. Julian’s nightlife, which may be fine if you enjoy nightlife, but I personally had a much better time during my 2 days in Valletta – it was cleaner and had a much nicer atmosphere. The pool was too shallow for swimming, overcrowded, and felt unhygienic. The private beach was right next to a public beach, separated only by a small partition, and the water was very murky – I couldn’t use it at all. The view was full of construction sites, which made it impossible to relax or take nice photos. Our room smelled damp, the air conditioning was freezing, and when we turned it off everything got wet from humidity. Even after changing rooms, the problem wasn’t solved. I woke up every morning feeling exhausted instead of rested. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were very kind, helpful, and solution-oriented. Malta is a truly beautiful country with stunning, clean beaches and amazing places to explore. But next time, I will definitely stay in an Airbnb or a boutique hotel instead of here.
