We've just spent 5 days here and overall it was good.
The staff were all superb. Always a smile and a friendly greeting from the cleaners to the managers.
We had a meal at the Al Fresco restaurant, on the 7th floor. 100% could not fault it. The staff, food and atmosphere was great. First time eating rabbit and loved it. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the swordfish was delicious.
Overall the only downfall was that the room was not the best. Under both beds it was filthy with clumps of dust and previous residents complimentary slippers. Marks on the walls and ceiling and the curtains could do with a steam clean. I'm also convinced the mattress had gone on one bed and a deep topper was laid over it. We also noticed that the corridor never got hoovered.

I was there for a week in 2023. Very big and comfortable hotel. Great infrastructure: swimming pools, restaurant, gym. What I didn't like in comparison with other hotels in Malta is location of the hotel. It's quite far from the city, so you need to take a taxi, if you wanna go to sightseeing. Also you need to spend few minutes to get to the beach (they have an elevator, so it's not a big issue if you like to walk to the sea).

This is a superbly located, classy hotel. The service you get is very fast and friendly, all of your needs are taken care of. There are several restaurants, all good. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, you can get a very healthy morning meal or indulge in the more heavy stuff, there's everything. The rooftop pool area is gorgeous, there is also a pool on a lower level. Spa, gym. Works very well as a conference venue too.
There were a few cons during my 4 night stay. Nothing major but i will mention them anyway.
The shower water pressure is great, but in my room the temperature fluctuated from too cold to too warm. I could deal with this.
I ordered from the room service using their online site, making sure to check "pay with card upon arrival". When i got the order the server had no card payment terminal, and was a bit baffled why i would not want to simply charge my room.
Other than these two minor things, everything went splendidly and i had a great time! Highly recommended.

Very good service.
Have to pay +6€ per person if you want to have breakfast in the garden, but most ridiculous of it all, must spend 60€ per person in food/drinks if you want to use the rooftop pool.

Great hotel to spend vacation period. The location is more adequate for young people as there is a lot of nightlife close. But the personal and the services of the hotel are excellent.
Opal lounge food and personal service are really good.
