Wonderful experience. The island is lovely, great beaches, great snorkelling, good food, lots of diverse activities, ability to do your own thing and have plenty of privacy, and fantastic for kids of all ages. The staff is fantastic and our curator Iyaaz was absolutely wonderful. He could not have been more charming and helpful and he made our trip all the more special. Also important to mention that the GM Reinold and Christopher the resort manager go out of their way to make everyone’s experience here fabulous. Highly recommend staying here.

I had an unforgettable experience when I stayed at InterContinental Maldives. I stayed there for six nights, two nights at the overwater villa and four nights at sunset lagoon pool villa. Both villas were beautifully designed with stunning views. During my stay, the service was warm, genuine, and incredibly attentive. Our curator, Yolanda, who made our stay exceptional. She was always friendly, patient, and proactive. Freky and Matt engaged with us for different activities including beach volleyball, Zumba, Salsa dance, etc. Jocelyn served us in the Fish Market was very friendly. She understood our preferences and made thoughtful suggestions accordingly. Food was excellent. My favourite were Nasi Goreng & Shanghai dumplings from fish market. The Japanese Wagyu beef from the Lighthouse was also amazing. And Cafe Umi has so much variety, perfect for any one with Asian stomach. Overall, our stay at InterContinental Maldives exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. 我们在马尔代夫洲际酒店的入住体验非常棒。风景美服务好食物赞。乐不思蜀，只能努力挣钱下次再来。

My family and I had a wonderful experience here. Having visited the Maldives before and stayed on other islands, this was our first stay with InterContinental and it exceeded our expectations. The resort is well maintained and beautifully designed. We stayed in one of the beachfront villas, which was spacious, very private, and thoughtfully laid out. You can choose to relax by your villa pool or on your private sunbeds, or head to the main pool if you’re feeling more social. It’s worth noting that the main pool is family-friendly and can be a little lively at times, so for those seeking extra tranquillity, the Retreat area is a great escape. We were very happy with the dining options, with delicious food across all of the restaurants. Our particular favourite was The Lighthouse. We would recommend booking restaurants from day one with your curator, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion, as some venues are closed on certain dates and availability can be limited. My mother celebrated her birthday during our stay, and the team were incredibly attentive in helping arrange flowers for her. Despite a small issue with the initial bouquet, it was quickly resolved and replaced with a better one. The birthday cake and card were a lovely touch, as was the sweet detail from housekeeping, who created a note on the bed. The spa is also great - we enjoyed some massages and there is a wide variety of treatments available. The gym is open 24/7 and well equipped with machines and free weights and we also loved the sunrise yoga sessions, which we joined on a couple of mornings. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the staff. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. Special thanks to Chris, our curator Yolanda, Ishaq, Joker, and the housekeeping team for making our stay so memorable. The experiences offered by the hotel are also worth highlighting. On days when the weather wasn’t ideal, the team organised thoughtful alternatives to keep guests entertained. One particular highlight was the resin art session with in house artist Anastasia, where we created beautiful pieces to take home as souvenirs. For those who love the water, there is no shortage of activities, including diving, manta & dolphin excursions, jet skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, and snorkelling. The house reef is stunning, and we saw an abundance of beautiful fish. A small tip: near the shores by the gym there is a resident triggerfish we had a brief encounter with, so it’s worth being aware before swimming too close. We also took part in the turtle safari, which was absolutely magical. We were lucky enough to see four turtles during the trip, and the staff were wonderful throughout the experience. Overall, it was the people - alongside the beauty of the resort - that truly made this stay so special. Thank you to the entire team for such a fantastic experience!

It was an unforgettable 5-day, 4-night anniversary trip at the InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort. The entire resort feels new and well-maintained. The scenery around the island is breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters, beautiful sunsets, and a peaceful environment that makes you forget the outside world. Beyond the views, what made the experience even more special was the amazing team at the resort. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind — they made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. A special thanks to my butler, Daisy, & other staffs like, Ashraf, Vincent, Mannan, Chris, Jocelyn, Yolanda, Rauf, Ali & Fairy etc— for their friendliness, professionalism. Thanks to all of you who contributed to this wonderful trip.

Our stay at the IHG Resort in the Maldives was absolutely unforgettable. The entire team delivered exceptional hospitality, making every moment special. A heartfelt thank you to Sami, who elevated every breakfast and dinner with her impeccable service and warm personality. She made us feel completely at home. Nazeeh and Nabeeh continuously greeted us with kindness and ensured we were always comfortable and well cared for, wherever we dined throughout the resort. Gopal made sure our orders were always delivered on time, and even our special requests were handled perfectly. His attention and care made us feel truly at home. The food was outstanding. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and delicious flavors turned every meal into a highlight of the day. A special thanks to the cooking team and the chef at Umi. We requested miso sauce, which wasn’t on the menu, yet the chef went above and beyond by preparing three different types for us. Each one was mind-blowing and absolutely delicious 👌🏽 We are deeply grateful to Marry for coordinating everything perfectly. She responded quickly and ensured every detail was smooth and stress-free. A big appreciation to Fekkry for taking wonderful care of the kids, allowing us to relax fully and enjoy our time. This beautiful island with its clean villas and rooms becomes even more magical thanks to the people who work here. We look forward to returning and experiencing this paradise again!
