An exceptional stay at InterContinental Koh Samui. The service throughout the resort was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The pool villas are stunning, offering privacy, comfort, and breathtaking views, making it hard to leave. The spa experience was world-class; I enjoyed several treatments and each one was exceptional. A special mention to Ms. Koy, an outstanding spa therapist whose skill, intuition, and professionalism made the experience truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and impeccable hospitality. The staff and service were exceptional, with everyone from the buggy staff, guards, reception, pool attendants, club lounge and restaurant staff always making sure that we were well looked after. A special mention to Ms. Natcha at Amber who made us feel more than just guests. Thank you to everyone!

What an experience! I came here with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they certainly made us feel appreciated as guests as soon as we pulled up to the property. We made sure to notify the hotel in advance about our anniversary celebration and they surprised us with a bunch of perks! I also have IHG Platinum status with the IHG Premier credit card and we were upgraded to the king club lounge room and they explained that we were also able to visit the club lounge, where you have access to snacks and soft drinks (including coffees, milkshakes, and smoothies) throughout the day. If you have access to the lounge, they also have cocktail hour from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM each day and you can order from any assortment of alcoholic (and no-alcoholic) beverages on the menu, from cocktails to beer. This time is perfect to watch the stunning sunset every day. The cocktails at sunset were one of the highlights each day. The staff at the club lounge consistently provided excellent service, especially Cream who tended to us most of the time. The breakfast buffet at Amber had a nice assortment of food and attentive staff. Lobby staff were always very friendly and helpful, especially Miu and Latin, who made us feel so welcomed as guests. We visited the Baan Spa on the property on our last day for the 4-hour Touch of Celestial Beauty treatment. Koy and Rose did a phenomenal job and checked in on us to confirm that the massage pressure and room temperature was to our likings. This hotel also has its own private dock and I highly recommend going out all the way to the end of it at night to see the stars much more clearly. I'm usually more of a traveler who visits large, busy metropolitan cities and I wasn't sure if I would even enjoy staying at an island resort in a more remote area. After our 4 night stay here, I can absolutely recommend staying here. The beauty of the property itself, the scenic views, and the hospitality of the staff makes this resort a true winner.

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and Christmas, and it was a fantastic experience. The ocean views from the lobby, restaurant, and room were stunning, and the sunset was the best we have ever seen. As an IHG member, we enjoyed early check-in and late check-out. The lobby staff were always friendly and helpful. In particular, Sun, Donut, and Rene were exceptionally friendly and fun, and we were especially grateful that they spoke to us in Korean, which made us feel very welcomed. Thanks to them and the entire team, we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing and memorable holiday. + Housekeeping was always done at just the right time, which we really appreciated. The food at all the restaurants was delicious!

We stayed at the Intercontinental Samui for around 7 nights, and wow. It was the most beautiful stay. The staff treat every guest with the upmost respect and nothing is ever too much trouble. The rooms are clean and resort has many facilities and fun activities. Lots of pools to check out too !! We were also extremely impressed by the cleaning team, who never failed to magically have our room in top shape every time we returned to it. We were looked after very well by concierge Monica, who always did her best to make sure our trip was always enjoyed, especially through our room upgrade !! Especially whilst i was sick, Monica always ensured that anything i needed adjusted (as i couldn’t leave the room) was more than possible, and felt so much love during this time from the staff !! Secondly, doors person Fon, always went out of her way to make sure we were having a great night. She always greeted us with a friendly smile and hello, and always asked what she could do to assist with the satisfaction of our stay. Fon dramatically improved our stay at the resort by making us feel like valued guests, and would always brighten up our day but having a friendly chat with us. Thanks so much again !!

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here 11 years ago at this resort and always had amazing memories of our special day. This anniversary trip back for 3 nights was our first with our 4 year old son to the resort and it was as magical as before but in a different way. While the property hadn’t changed very much, neither had the amazing service and kindness from the staff. Every interaction with the Intercon Koh Samui staff from check-in at the main hall with sweeping views to our departure day was intimate and from the heart. The resort was as beautiful as we remembered with the unforgettable cliff side views of the ocean islands and the pier running into the horizon. A girl at the front gate of the property named Fon (after rainfall) welcomed us graciously everytime we stepped into the lobby with a big smile. She would always kindly provide us umbrellas when it was raining and call buggies for us promptly for wherever we needed to go. This trip back was all about the kid, and we realized how child friendly and chock full of activities the resort was. Our son fell in love with the awesome air hockey tables in the inspiration room, as well as the full size pool table there. We spent hours at the kids club with the wonderful teacher Em and Nat who played UNO Cards, Jenga, and made kites with our son. Teacher Em also doubled as the water sports activities guru and coach for Muay Thai as our son tried kayaking off the shore and kids Muay Thai. We even did fishing off the pier one day with quality fishing rods and squid bait and ended up catching a fish and almost a crab. As a jack of all trades Em was doing everything around the resort as we also saw him give first aid to a paddleboarder and also take a couple on a sunset cruise on the resort speedboat. He even lent us a resort life jacket for our son to use on a snorkeling trip. We found the breakfast spread to be better and more diverse than when we got married here in 2014. There is more international selection of foods and also a fresh made kale/roast port/rice station and a fresh made pad thai station. Our breakfast server Natcha was so sweet she remembered where we were sitting each day and asked us if we wanted the same table daily. Marky and the whole Club Team took wonderful care of us every night at the Club Lounge for happy hour. The service staff there were some of the most attentive we’ve ever encountered. Pim and Lisa looked after of all our orders with grace and smiles, always looking to top up our drinks without our asking and asking us if we needed anything. Marky was there to greet us during the day and in the evening as well everyday. The Club Team also prepared a special video slideshow of my birthday with photos at different spots around the resort which they played in our room on our TV on our last night. They also delivered multiple birthday cakes and sweets as well as handwritten cardsto our room during our stay. We are leaving some people out as the entire staff was fantastic to us on this trip. Kudos to the customer service and experience team at the Intercon Koh Samui. While the property may have remodeled some rooms, upgraded to Dyson hair dryers, and revamped the menus, what really touches us on our holidays is the personal experience. The quality of the personal experience has only improved since our 11 year history with the resort, and that is why we will only ever stay at the Intercon when we visit Koh Samui anytime in the future.
