Impression Moxché by Secrets is a beautiful all-inclusive resort in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The check-in process was pretty streamlined. We had read in some reviews that couples were welcomed with drinks and other amenities while they waited. That did not happen for us, but we were directed to the bar where we could order our own drinks, which was still a nice touch. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we were taken to a restaurant to relax and grab a bite. After finishing our meal, we checked the mobile app and saw that our room was ready with a mobile key. We went up and were welcomed by our butler, who gave us a quick tour of the room and showed us around. The resort itself is very impressive. There are at least ten pools, and everything is spotless and well-organized. It is very easy to order food or drinks from anywhere, and the service is quick and friendly. The variety of food across the ten to fifteen restaurants on the property was excellent. It did not feel repetitive at all, which can sometimes happen at all-inclusive places. Each restaurant had its own unique style and flavor. Some of our favorite things we had were the jumbo shrimp and the cocktails. Also, the bartenders are very talented and can make just about anything you ask for. Overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this resort. I think you’ll have a great experience too. EDIT. One thing that I wish this hotel could improve was the air conditioning. Our room never really got quite cooler than the 22 to 23°C range (71-74°F). During the day we weren’t really in the room, but at night time we did wish that the room was colder.

Flawless Luxury & Impeccable Service – A Perfect Stay at Impression Moxché by Secrets We spent four nights and five days at Impression Moxché by Secrets, and from start to finish, our stay was exceptional. Every part of this experience — from the personal service to the incredible amenities — made it a true luxury escape. Our butlers, Erick and Mariana, were nothing short of amazing. They took care of all our dinner and spa reservations, sent daily reminders about on-site events, and even arranged a bubble bath with rose petals one night — a beautiful surprise. They also made sure our in-room bar was fully stocked at all times with our preferred wine, beer, sodas, and bottled water, without us ever having to ask twice. Our suite was stunning — spacious, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable, featuring a rainfall shower, oversized soaking tub, and private swim-up patio. The lush, green surroundings and eco-luxury feel of the resort made everything feel serene and exclusive. The food and drinks throughout the resort were outstanding. From steakhouse dinners to fresh oysters and poolside cocktails, everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Do not miss the taco cart near the spa and jewelry store — it was easily one of our favorite bites of the trip! There are multiple pools, each offering something different — whether you want relaxation, a view, or rooftop luxury, you will find your spot. The live music performances were another standout: we enjoyed a saxophonist at breakfast one day, and a harpist the next — details that truly set this resort apart. The evening theater shows were impressive, and if you are staying as an Impressions guest, definitely sit in the Impressions section. You’ll receive personal drink service and popcorn right to your seat — a fun and thoughtful touch that made it feel like VIP treatment. The adults-only setting created a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and reconnecting. If we had one suggestion, it would be for the Gypsy Club to offer more variety in music — it leaned heavily toward electronic dance each night. This was a flawless experience, and we left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. Huge thanks to Erick, Mariana, and the entire Impressions team for making this an unforgettable getaway.

4 stars Overall this resort is great and I would come back again. The food was the best I had at an all-inclusive and the pools at this resort is also the best I've seen. I was disappointed in the lack of service. Everyone was good and friendly but no one went even slightly above and beyond to make our 10yr wedding anniversary trip extra special. The only special treatment was the happy anniversary sign. Which is extra disappointing as we even stayed at a higher level room. Despite this, the only bad encounter was at the main impressions pool with Mateo. Knowing this I would not spend extra money on better rooms. The crew does work really hard to clean the seaweed but despite this it is true that beach is not great here. You can smell the seaweed in the impressions main pool. More details to come...

We spent our honeymoon here and loved every minute of it! The food was great, especially Teodoro. The service all over the resort, plus the butlers, was outstanding. Daily events and never a shortage of beautiful places to relax. This place blew us away and we can’t wait to return!

Loved my stay at this place! Would do it again. Deducted a star due to poor butler service. We had arrived around 8:30am and requested early check-in. The hotel had said they'll try to accommodate it, but I was left waiting till 3pm (regular) to check in. My butler Alejandra did not give me timely updates on room so it was very frustrating, given we had come from an overnight flight. However we were able to enjoy the food and amenities meanwhile which were nice. We were vegetarian so options were a bit limited but Seaside and Cielo restaurants were very accommodating! Bamboo - not at all happy with food/accommodation. We wanted to try Teodoro, this fancy Italian restaurant (paid) and requested this with our butler, who was not able to secure us a reservation after multiple reminders. Also we got a replacement butler for the next day, who was also unavailable after 6pm unfortunately. I wanted an ibuprofen for my headache and they simply said to go buy it at the pharmacy (for $39!!!). They did have some cool shows and a speakeasy on property which was impressive. Overall, happy with my stay, just wished for better butler service.
