Impression Moxché by Secrets is a beautiful all-inclusive resort in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The check-in process was pretty streamlined. We had read in some reviews that couples were welcomed with drinks and other amenities while they waited. That did not happen for us, but we were directed to the bar where we could order our own drinks, which was still a nice touch. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we were taken to a restaurant to relax and grab a bite. After finishing our meal, we checked the mobile app and saw that our room was ready with a mobile key. We went up and were welcomed by our butler, who gave us a quick tour of the room and showed us around. The resort itself is very impressive. There are at least ten pools, and everything is spotless and well-organized. It is very easy to order food or drinks from anywhere, and the service is quick and friendly. The variety of food across the ten to fifteen restaurants on the property was excellent. It did not feel repetitive at all, which can sometimes happen at all-inclusive places. Each restaurant had its own unique style and flavor. Some of our favorite things we had were the jumbo shrimp and the cocktails. Also, the bartenders are very talented and can make just about anything you ask for. Overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this resort. I think you’ll have a great experience too. EDIT. One thing that I wish this hotel could improve was the air conditioning. Our room never really got quite cooler than the 22 to 23°C range (71-74°F). During the day we weren’t really in the room, but at night time we did wish that the room was colder.

Secrets Impressions Moxché Review – A New Favorite! Wow—just wow. Secrets Impressions Moxché blew us away! Hands down, it wins Best Food out of all the resorts we’ve visited. Every meal was a hit, and with so many incredible options, we didn’t even feel the need to splurge on any special dinner add-ons.lots of videos of the foods… because to be impressed with every meal from room services to all restaurants st an all inclusive is rare… we are foodies so this makes or breaks a vacation for us.. Both rooftops were absolutely stunning, offering unbeatable views and relaxing vibes. If you’re staying on the Impressions side, don’t skip the Secrets rooftop and restaurants—they’re just as spectacular and add so much variety to the experience. We had 5-star service from our amazing butlers, Luis and Cesar, who brought such a white-glove touch to everything. Every single staff member—m from check-in to dining to simply passing by was kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The service here truly sets the bar. The pools were Amazing, the views were breathtaking, and the entertainment was next level. One of our favorite surprises was the gorgeous theater next to the pharmacy that transforms into a speakeasy/nightclub after hours! We travel often, and without a doubt, this is now at the very top of our list. Impressions Moxché is the full package: luxury, flavor, fun, and unforgettable memories!!!!

Hard to decide how the experience was Beautiful hotel. Terrible services Amazing food. But you might not get to find a possibility to eat. Check in process. A catastrophe. Too much going on, no warm welcoming. Then when they finally see you, you get welcomed and greeted into your room for check in. good idea. Best: food is delicious! (Problem is. You might not get any) Good: the room at impression is quite stylish. Nice big bathtub and jacuzzi. With beautiful view to the property Lots of different pools. Each of them very nice. Perfect temperature in all of them. Bad: service is bad. Seems as no one wants to work there. Too crowded. Too loud They advertise impression as if it were a separate hotel within secrets. But it’s the same. Just access to two different pools and a restaurant. Which are quite nice. But I’m sure anyone can also go to the pools there as there are no controls whatsoever. Just for food they ask you for your room number. (Food in cielo is perfect, and it’s the only place with acceptable service) The worst!: it might be impossible for you to get any food for dinner They protect themselves behind their “first come first serve basis” but it’s 300 rooms with hungry people fighting for 50 tables. At some point a lady at the Mexican restaurant told us: come back in 30 minutes for me to give you a beeper In another restaurant she said. Sorry it may take 1 hour it may take 2 or more. Why am I paying 1000 usd for this? Next night. We got a beeper right away but we still waited 45!!! To be seated. Plus the longest time it takes for them to bring you water. Then take your drink order and then your food order. Unnecessary. Wouldn’t do it again The absolute worst: the drinks. I’m not paying 1000 usd a night to drink water (and fight for a table) . The most watered down cocktails I ever had. I understand no one likes loud drunk gringos, but if I’m having two or three drinks a day. I wanna enjoy them. Save your time and money by telling your barkeeper to make it double or giving him a tip, they will anyasay give you a lemonade instead of a mojito A couple of Waiters did an excellent job Specially in cielo. Other than that either very mediocre or just bad! Hotel is the definition of. Perfect facilites. Beautiful hotel. High end building. Many pools But too crowded and terrible service plus you might not get to eat at night. Night club and th theater are quite nice High quality shows. High quality club. So it’s the perfect place for you if you love water activities and nice construction But you don’t drink alcohol and don’t mind if you don’t eat every other day. As I like to eat and drink. It’s a big no for me next time

Absolutely amazing! Going into the trip I wasn't sure about splurging on the Impressions side because we're typically not fancy or high maintenance people but the elegant infinity pools on the Impressions side were AMAZING!!! We appreciated access to the additional bars and restaurants on that side as well. The entire staff at Secrets was so helpful and seemed actually happy to help in way they could- from turndown service to sunset cocktails—they made us feel incredibly pampered! This property is absolutely beautiful.

Pros: food is amazing and they have top shelf liquor. Pools are nice. Cons: don’t waste your money with butler service. I hardly seen them and they never made any reservations for us and never got us any special privileges. Rooms are ok but so so dark. Lighting is terrible. Loooonnnngggg waits at restaurants. Wasn’t able to eat at their “Michelin” restaurant because it was booked out for over a week. (I stayed 7 nights and still not enough time to reserve). The music is horrible. Not a club hotel at all. This is the quietest resort I’ve ever been at. The club they have on the property, Pharmacy, was playing “disco” music and they water the drinks at the club. Service is ok. But not wonderful. Paid for ocean view and they gave me a resort view and when I complained, got the run around. Rolling black outs on my last day there Bottom line: Wouldn’t come back. It’s not worth the thousands of dollars.
