We felt like in an adults only paradise here. Our oceanfront suite was HUGE and luxurious. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The infinity pool was fantastic!
Our butlers Daniel, Montserrat, Sergio were exceptional. The pool staff Mateo and Carlos were excellent too. Cynthia, who was the chef in the omelette bar at the breakfast buffet, prepared delicious omelette. The front desk staff Daniel and Francisco made our check in and check out process efficient.
Our fine dining at Teodoro was literally heavenly. Never had such fancy food in my life!
I would kindly recommend the resort management to allow some of the bar and pool staff to sit periodically during their shifts. I believe sitting is essential for a person’s joint health and it has nothing to do with providing great customer service.

As someone who’s usually VERY tough to impress when it comes to food and accommodations, I can confidently say this resort exceeded ALL my expectations—and then some! I’m not a fan of all-inclusive resorts, and after a disappointing stay at the Punta Cana Secrets, I was hesitant. But this experience completely turned that around! The food was exceptional. I kept thinking, "This must be the one good restaurant," only to be blown away again at the next one, and the next. Not a single meal disappointed me. Every dish was delicious, and I didn’t have one bad or even mediocre bite the entire time. The resort itself is stunning, with meticulous attention to detail in everything—from the activities to the rooms. One memorable moment was at the Impression main infinity pool, where a staff member kept cleaning my sunglasses without me even asking. I didn’t even know that was a thing! Our butlers, Jaime and Rafael, also delivered a 5 star experience and they checked on us constantly and ensured we had everything we needed. We truly wanted for nothing. We’re already planning our next trip back this November! Thank you to the entire Impression team! See you soon!

We feel deeply frustrated and deceived by the hotel and its Manager, Maricruz. When we left the hotel, Maricruz specifically assured us that we would be refunded for the unused nights. Now, after countless attempts to resolve this issue, it feels like we were misled and taken advantage of.
We paid nearly $1,400 per night expecting a 5-star experience, but what we encountered was far from that:
• We waited almost 4 hours to receive our rooms.
• Several pools were closed, and only one restaurant was available for all guests, resulting in wait times exceeding 160 minutes.
• When we finally received our room at 5:40 PM, we informed our butler immediately that we were unhappy and wanted to switch rooms or leave the property. He told us we had to wait until the next day to speak with Maricruz, as she had already left. To make matters worse, security wouldn’t allow us to leave without an exit pass from the manager, forcing us to stay that first night.
The next morning, we met with Maricruz, who assured us that if we contacted Expedia after leaving, she would personally approve the refund for the unused nights. Feeling reassured by her promise, we left. If we had known this promise would not be honored, we would never have left the hotel without resolving the issue immediately. She made us feel safe with her word, and now, it feels like that was nothing but a lie.
Upon returning to the U.S. on July 12th, I contacted Expedia, who confirmed that Maricruz had verbally approved the refund. They even had it in their system notes. But after weeks of chasing, Expedia informed me that the hotel was no longer responding, and eventually, Maricruz outright denied ever promising the refund. Instead, she offered a voucher for a future stay—a solution that makes no sense given the conditions we faced. Why would we return after such a poor experience?
I reached out to both the butler and Maricruz directly but received no response. When I finally spoke with Maricruz, she claimed not to remember offering a refund, despite acknowledging she remembered me and our situation. She strung us along with empty promises, saying she’d check with the reservations department for a refund, but we called and called and never heard back.
We have read several reviews and it looks like promising and not doing what they promised is something common with their staff and management.
This behavior is unacceptable for a manager representing a 5-star hotel. The hotel itself was in poor condition—leaks, humidity, and a pervasive moldy smell—nothing like what was advertised. And now, we’re being ignored and dismissed after being blatantly lied to. Nowhere near the luxury experience we were promised. To be ignored and lied to after spending so much is incredibly disheartening.

Fantastic resort! My husband and I stayed at Impression for our honeymoon. The resort is beautiful, we loved the infinity pools, the rooftop pools and the amazing restaurants. The staff were really friendly. Food and drinks were fantastic. Between the restaurants we tried we really loved sea soul, cielo, Teodoro, and Bisou.
Trip Mania
The hotel itself is great—a new building, good staff, and a beautiful pool. However, we had to change rooms three times due to issues with a broken curtain, TV, air conditioner, ceiling fan, and toilet.
I also got sick from eating oysters and had to call a doctor at midnight. I ended up bedridden for three days.
It’s a lovely place, but unfortunately, I don’t have good memories of my stay.
