The hotel is stunning in its beauty. I'll start with the hardworking employees specially James and Wu who are always smiling and of course the entire hotel staff who are always positive, warm, loving and friendly. How important it is to have good people and a supportive environment. A great breakfast. The beach of the hotel is perfect . The room is cleaned every day to a very high standard . The location of the hotel is excellent!! A few minutes drive and you reach the center And there is the peace and beauty of the hotel and you can sleep well. Highly recommend Amazing vacation.!!!!!! I spent 13 days at the Impiana Resort Xavang Noi on Koh Samui and felt genuinely well taken care of from the very first moment. The entire team was warm, attentive, and welcoming. Within a short time, everyone knew my name and room number, and because I was traveling alone, they frequently checked in, asked about my plans, and offered helpful suggestions for my day. I want to highlight three wonderful team members who made my stay even better. Nana stood out with her exceptional attentiveness and warm personality. Man was always friendly, reliable, and quick to help with anything I needed. And Jub made every breakfast enjoyable with her kind support and positive attitude. This resort delivers true hospitality. I never felt like just a guest but rather like part of a family. Highly recommended.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Impiana. The staff are superb and very attentive. I tipped the entire kitchen staff daily because of their hard work. I thoroughly appreciated their work effort! They were attentive, detailed, and unobtrusive. I appreciated the work effort of the cleaning staff as well. Please note, make up your room means fresh towels, bedding, and the works; even if you leave your towels hanging. They were very sweet, kind, and attentive. James and Pancake at the front desk were very kind to grant me a complimentary late check out! I was so very appreciative of their kindness! Now, I was not so fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade. In my experience, you will have to pay for an upgrade. However, I was offered an upgrade on the already reduced price. I was so very appreciative of this kind gesture! Overall, I was very pleased with my stay here. I can definitely see me returning to this resort in the future! I had the deluxe room which was magnificent! Next time, I may get a front row oceanfront bungalow. If not, I will stick with the deluxe room. It was very spacious and quite homey!

Impiana is a a peaceful santuary in the perfect location on Chawengi Noi beach. You are surrounded by stunning gardens and turquoise sea views. The rooms are immaculately presented and decorated. The staff are very professional and make sure you are comfortable throughout your stay. As I arrived in low season they very kindly moved me to a beautiful seaview room. The breakfast is a very large buffet with excellent choices to suit every taste. One particular staff member Nam, kindly offered her special services in assisting my dietary needs daily. I highly recommend Impiana- it's my 2nd time staying here and I will definitely return again.

We stayed at Impiana for two weeks - the third such trip we’re made over the past decade or so - we’ll hope to visit for a fourth time. Firstly the minor negatives. The buildings and facilities are a little tired, outdated and in need to repair. Half the gym equipment didn’t work and the remaining equipment was old and in need of replacement. We arrived at the end of the rainy season when the tide was very high and make shift flood resistance measures at the beach bar (sand bags). This distracted from the quality and usability of the hotel to a degree and, as this is an annual occurrence, a more attractive and considered permanent solution should be found. Other than these minor issues, the resort was great. The food at the restaurant is fantastic and exceeded our expectations. That said, there are plenty of other restaurants locally (and an incredible cafe/bakery directly opposite) for variety. The location odd ideal for us - peaceful and quiet compared to other areas, but a short walk out taxi from town. The staff make this hotel - all were faultless, joyful and dedicated to going scone and beyond. There are too many to name, but the restaurant staff, the gardener (no name badge) and Nana on reception stood out. The price point is very attractive - definitively value for money. We found out that the hotel had been sold whilst we were staying (sales posters were on all the buildings) - we really hope that the staff are retained and the character of the hotel is retained. It would put us off returning if the hotel was to become the same as all the other generic ‘cookie cutter’ hotels found in Samui. Revamp and refresh, don’t rebuild. When booking, we considered around 10 hotels and ended up coming back to the impiana. We’re glad we did. Overall, a wonderful place to spend time and a perfect base to enjoy all that Samui has to offer.
