We stayed at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, and honestly, the service alone makes it worth booking. The staff are consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely gracious. Throughout our stay, we were greeted with sincere smiles and bows, doors were opened, elevators held, and taxis arranged—often without us even needing to ask. If you’re traveling with a child and value space, I highly recommend booking a junior suite. It made a noticeable difference for comfort and ease. The building itself is classic and timeless. It doesn’t try to be ultra-modern—and that’s exactly what we loved about it. There’s a quiet confidence to the place that feels elegant rather than flashy. The location is excellent and very central in heart of Ginza. Tons of great food and shopping. Walking distance Imperial palace. We used taxis frequently, but Hibiya Station is right up front.

Very convenient location, right next to the palace and the view is magnificent! The hotel itself is very old school, you won’t have the latest technology but the most balanced combination of eastern and western hospitality. There was a little thing that happened during my stay when a cleaning lady came into the room when I was changing, found out she was going to leave a notice saying there will be glass cleaning today but somehow didn’t know I was in the room… Everything else was perfect! The flower display at the front of the reception was beautiful 😇

Staff were exceptional with service and courtesy. The hotel feels quietly elegant. Our room was a little dated but stately and comfortable. Though the breakfast seemed popular, we were able to find more affordable options mere blocks away. The hotel is convenient to transit and with plentiful taxis. The pool/bath/spa is a nice amenity even though it seems tucked away.

The hotel is cozy and comfortable, with spacious and well-equipped rooms. The service is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you may need to wait for a table at the Imperial Viking Restaurant, but it is definitely worth it. The food is delicious with a wide variety of options. Room service is excellent. The hotel is close to the station, with plenty of taxis available and a limousine bus that goes directly to the airport. Everything is easily accessible from here. Highly recommended for those who are looking for top-notch service. The price is well worth it.

Classic Tokyo hospitality at its best. Service is impeccable. Rooms are slightly dated but well maintained ,perfect for those who appreciate old-school charm. Also one of the best hotel showers I’ve had.
