Just come back from staying at this hotel. Upon arrival and first impressions it looked very nice but it's definitely not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Room - our room was on the 2nd floor, Once we opened the door it smelled of stale water. Nice bathroom with a shower and all facilities with shower and body wash supplied and towels changed when required. Beds were really comfortable but were very soft. Walls are very thin and could hear everything going on in the rooms each side of you. We had a young family next to us and the noise was unbearable with them shouting and banging the doors at all hours. Balcony door would not lock once we closed it. And we could also hear everything going on in the corridor to get to other rooms on an evening until all hours of the night. Food - wasn't the best either, breakfast was probably the best but looked like the fruit was from the previous day and was all brown. We ate out every night after visiting the restaurant as the food didn't look very nice and there wasn't a great selection. Theres a great selection of restaurants about 5 to 10 mins down the road Location- is up and steep hill about 5 to 10 mins away from everything you need including the beach If you go all inclusive it's not fully all inclusive either there are extras you have to pay for so be aware of this. We definitely won't be returning to this hotel there's alot more better hotels in the area

This is a fantastic family hotel, especially great for kids, particularly because of the kids' pool featuring water slides. There are plenty of activities to keep them entertained. The kid's entertainers, Sally and her team, were absolutely brilliant. The nighttime entertainment included a few decent acts, although the quiz night could have been improved. Housekeeping did a wonderful job of keeping the rooms clean every day! I suggest taking a moment to read the small print regarding the all-inclusive package and the rules for alcoholic drinks. You are allowed only 6 drinks per day—3 with lunch and 3 with dinner. Other than that you can buy as much as you wish. The food was amazing, with a wide variety available each day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's just a 5-minute walk to the beach, which was perfect for the kids. The location is excellent, with plenty of bars and shops nearby. A few areas of the hotel could use a fresh coat of paint, but overall, it’s a great place, and all the staff were polite and friendly.

Absolutely loved our stay! The pools were perfect for kids—safe, fun, and clean. The whole hotel was perfectly clean too, which we really appreciated. The food was great with something for everyone—some classics always available, plus cool themed nights like Spanish and seafood. Staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Would definitely come back!

We stayed at ILUNION Hotel Palma Nova recently and had a lovely time overall. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice, but you can’t take food or drinks back to the room which would have been handy at times. The hotel is definitely geared towards families – there’s loads for kids to do, from daily activities to the evening disco. The three pools are brilliant: one with slides, one standard, and one shallower option for little ones. Lunch and dinner were a bit repetitive, but the kids’ food section was a nice touch. The biggest downside for us (and many other parents we spoke to) was the kids’ play area being right next to the restaurant. It meant every time we went for dinner our children just wanted to play instead of eat, which led to a few meltdowns. Moving it, or at least adding tinted windows, would make a huge difference. The rooms are nice and the balcony with a glass panel was perfect for our little one who loved looking out at the pool. Beds could be improved though – they felt like camping beds, not very sturdy, and since they’re pushed together you end up falling down the middle. It is located up a hill so prepare for the walk which is tough with a pram. Another thing to note but didn’t bother us was all inclusive doesn’t inclusive alcohol drinks unless at lunch and dinner. On the plus side, the staff were lovely – really friendly and always happy to help. Overall, a good family hotel with lots for kids, but with a few tweaks it could be even better.

Quality and diversity of buffets food was exceptional 5 stars. Maybe one of the best buffets I had, definitely the best paella I had in a hotel. My son enjoyed the kids sessions and the entertainment was good quality. The hotel is located 5 mins from the beach, therefore a walking distance and very close to shops. Room cleanliness was OK. The hotel has 3 pools including the kids slides which keeps the entertained. They also offer outdoor food service during the day which is ideal for children. Outdoor maintenance could be improved especially cleanliness, more attention to details would be recommended. It is indeed a very good family hotel and the atmosphere is very chilled we will come back in future.
