Spending just a day at Ikos Odisia was enough to understand why the resort has such a strong reputation. The surroundings are stunning, but it was the people who truly defined the experience. Yanis stood out immediately. From the first interaction, he made us feel comfortable and welcomed. His professionalism was matched by a genuine warmth, and the way he shared his knowledge—particularly around drinks—made every recommendation feel tailored. He struck exactly the right balance: attentive when needed, yet never overwhelming. Thanks to him, the day felt far more special than we could have expected. Lia also left a lasting impression. She brought energy and positivity to every moment and made sure we were looked after throughout. Her approachable nature and natural attentiveness created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and she carried out everything with such ease that it set the tone for the whole visit. Although our time at Ikos Odisia was short, both Yanis and Lia turned it into something memorable. Their warmth and dedication made the day exceptional, and they are a real credit to the resort.

We had an amazing stay! All the restaurants were great, special mention to Azul for the delicious food and ambiance, anaya for the great sake, and elia's stunning view. Make sure to book in advance. A huge thank you to Eleni and the creche club team for taking such wonderful care of our baby, you were all so kind and caring. And thanks as well to the management and front desk team for always finding solutions and making sure we had the best possible stay. Everywhere you go the service is amazing, all employees are very nice and helpful.

Had an amazing time at this stunning resort. Beautiful sea views, loads of pools and separate children’s pool. Fine wine, loads of a la carte dining choices with a reservation each night. Fantastic theatre entertainment. Sunset evening boat trip & complimentary water sports. It’s our 9th time visiting an Ikos resort and first time at Odisia. Our experience heightened by Alexis, Vasila, Zoe & Maria. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it and have booked for next year already! Thanks Ikos

Good resort, I can see why it gets so many 5* reviews. They have many guests who return to the resort(s) year on year, which is great - but also a possibility of why the communication is so poor at times. If you are not familiar with the IKOS brand certain aspects of the stay could be frustrating. For instance, there is no lift access to any first floor (balcony) rooms - even though these rooms are advertised as perfect for 2 adults and a child, they are unsuitable for babies. This is, in my opinion, no where near clear enough on their literature. There are club cars available to shuttle guests around, and shuttle stops throughout the resort for the club cars - however these aren’t in use, you have to ask concierge to arrange or ask at the restaurant your dining in. I’m unsure why these stops are not removed or repurposed to stop confusion. Other frustrations for us included inconsistency in service. For instance ordering drinks poolside and then waiting a long time for the drink (whilst guests either side of us were served) - we went to the bar. Not a big deal, but frustrating. We used room service on a couple of occasions and food arrived uncovered and without cutlery. Again service at restaurants was incredibly inconsistent for us - we have a child with allergies so asked for some soy yoghurt to be provided for breakfast and some margarine from the kitchen (it’s in large open container on the buffet - so a cross contamination risk). We followed the hotels procedure and ordered 24hours in advance for the yoghurt, but it was not available the next day. Similarly the first time I asked for margarine from the kitchen, it was brought from the buffet. A couple of evening meals were also disrupted due to inattentive staff. Saying this, we did think the food and beverages were very high quality and overall excellent. The hotels’ offerings for guests are also exceptional, use of a Tesla to explore the island for a day and a sunset cruise are included in the room rate. We really enjoyed the hire car for the day, and there was an appropriately sized car seat for our child, which was unfortunately dirty from the previous child - but quickly rectified. There is also a shuttle bus to Corfu town and the option to dine out at a local restaurant, also included in the room rates - which we didn’t make use of. Rooms are well appointed and kept immaculate by hard working staff. Once we were allocated a ground floor room we were more than happy with it. However it’s useful to know if you use the cotton wool or shower cap it wont be replenished, unless you ask. Mini bar was ok, however we got into the habit for asking for wine from the restaurant to take back to our room to enjoy of an evening. The resort also has a spa which I took advantage of. The treatments are good, a little overpriced, but that’s what you get from this type of resort. The disappointment was that post treatment there is no where to relax, you’re simply returned to the waiting room then left to make your own way out. Other high end resort spas I have visited have post treatment relaxation lounges - think dark, lavish rooms with beds to relax on and speciality teas and waters to enjoy. Here you are welcome to relax in the pre-treatment waiting room - not quite the same. We did enjoy the resort and loved the beach areas. Each restaurant is beautiful and has fabulous views. Our child loved the play areas and splash park. The hotel is incredibly child friendly and has high end equipment (stokke cribs & high chairs) for the children to use. After having some issues at the start of the holiday management did go out of their way to improve the rest of our break, which they did. We probably would return to an IKOS resort at some point in the future, but our expectations would be adjusted.
