Very surprised to see so many positive reviews, not convinced they are legitimate. Would strongly recommend not visiting this hotel in 2026, please learn from our mistake. We are finishing up a one week stay at Ikos Kissamos, having visited Ikos resorts the past few years (with a great experience) and hype of this new resort opening in 2026. Price is in line with other Ikos resorts (€5k mid May for 2 adults one toddler in a garden room) and we are benchmarking our stay to those (the price is no different), other than minor snagging from a new opening. Some specific details below but all in a very disappointing stay, that could never be relaxing as there was no confidence of things being done as requested so constantly having to chase or so it ourselves. We voiced these points below to the hotel staff but seemingly fell on deaf ears. Service * Lost Coffee order at breakfast multiple days (didn’t arrive for 40 mins when we’d finished all our food and 3x requests) * Lost desert orders (constantly ask, eventually shows up) * Lost wine orders (constantly ask, eventually shows up) * All the above = no trust in delivery and therefore having to constantly ask to be sure we’re getting something (all in not very relaxing) * Pool service delays - No cutlery for lunch by pool, have to trek to the beach bar to get some as no idea how long you'd have to wait for staff to bring it * Spa treatment, book for an hour but only get 45 minutes * Chased us to visit the reception the night before our car rental to fill out paperwork and ease the process the following day, then the next day the paperwork was lost so had to do it all again * Beach bar - inconsistent menu and availability of food, one day they serve the next they don't. Sometimes they have snacks, sometimes not * General feeling of lots of staff, but no ownership Room * House keeping at 4/5pm (if they show up at all), then turndown 2 hours later (one day we didn't get any housekeeping visit, so asked for someone to come by the next day in the morning as bins were overflowing, we got a prompt yes but then no show) * No Laundry note or bag * Iron board, no iron * Wine bottles no bottle opener * No do not disturb / make up room sign Positives * Staff Temperament and attitude (trying their best but nobody taking control) * Children entertainment * Clean new facilities * Access to a clean and beautiful beach * Airport greeting and welcome * Service at Azul the best by far * Food and drink great

Wow! Been an Ikos fan for 10 years but Kissamos has exceeded expectations. For a resort that has only been open for a couple of weeks, the management and staff have worked really hard to make sure that everything is ready and finished to the usual high standard.No building site or delayed opening here. The setting is beautiful and a lot of the restaurants have a gorgeous beach view. Live music is available in each of the restaurants that we have visited so far and the plate smashing and Greek music and dancing was entertaining in Kriti. As always, the staff go above and beyond to make sure that everyone has a memorable stay. We have been well looked after by everyone that we have met so far but a special mention must go to Thekla who works tirelessly to make sure that everything is perfect and Alex who is charming and friendly. Viktoria and Yana at the pool bar are excellent and always cheerful and Andre can’t do enough to assist with towels and sunbeds etc It is great to see so many regular faces on the staff (Nestor from Oceania was here to help out and was delighted to show us around) and I have no doubt that we will be back!

A wonderful week at the newly opened Ikos. We experienced some initial teething problems, but the team, and in particular Thekla went out of their way to remedy - and we had a superb stay. Beautiful resort. Thanks to Alvaro for looking after us, but also a huge huge HUGE thanks to Thekla for just being wonder woman.
