Fantastic place. Relaxed, friendly and fun. Great food, staff are friendly helpful and very accommodating. Rooms all have a decent view.
Many areas have child free zones not that children are any trouble, the staff love them and are trained in child care… as long as parents help in ‘difficult moments’.
Lots of daily activities for kids and adults if you like that stuff including borrowing a Tesla for the day (free).
Food is great many restaurants to choose from - booking dinner recommended for some restaurants.

Ikos Aria offers a flawless experience. Ikos Resorts are the best 5-star hotel chain we've ever encountered. We've visited Ikos Olivia multiple times, and unlike other 5-star resorts, Ikos never disappoints. Other resorts could learn a lot from the owners of Ikos. From the moment you arrive, you're well taken care of. The staff is incredible, always smiling, and eager to assist. The hotel is impeccably clean and clearly well maintained. The food is high-quality, prepared by skilled chefs, making you feel truly pampered. This is a 10/10 experience, and we will definitely return. We've used almost all the facilities at this hotel, which is just a 20-minute drive from the airport. Thank you for making our holiday magical. 😊
They cater to gluten-free dietary requirements and tailor dishes accordingly. Inform the hotel and concierge service upon arrival, and they will personally address your specific dietary needs, ensuring all resort restaurants are aware. You don't need to select food from the buffet. I spoke with the kitchen manager to avoid cross-contamination since guests may mix utensils. By far, this is the best hotel for catering to dietary requirements.

Went to Fresco for dinner and had the most amazing service with Marilou, she went the extra mile to make our evening so special with cocktails she knew we would enjoy and churros to finish it off. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back. Very welcoming towards 19 year olds. Fresco’s manager put together an amazing team - nothing but praise 🥰

The iKos Aria is situated in lush gardens about 25 minutes from the Old Town and 15 minutes from the airport. We arrived on a late flight and arrived after midnight (01:00) and our check-in was brief. On entering our room, it was clear we could not stay there. We could easily hear the people talking in the next room – they were not speaking loudly, but then we realised we were in an adjoining room. We went to reception to have it sorted out but the night staff it seems were not able to change our room and we would therefore have to stay at least, until the next morning. The reception staff soon fixed the issue by finding a better room for us but we were not impressed at being placed in an adjoining room!
It must be stated that the staff ARE the hotel! They were superb throughout our stay – always with a welcome (and I do mean, ALL of the staff) and were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.
Our second room was perfect – comfortable and a decent size, it was well-equipped and had a garden terrace. We had breakfast in the buffet which was reasonably well stocked. Some items (omelettes for example) were available to order. Overall, very good although I had to find someone to take our coffee order.
The choice of pools is excellent although even during school term time, there were plenty of children and the only adults only pool was quite small. I would suggest consideration be made to have one of the larger pools be designated ‘adults only’. However, there were plenty of available sun lounges available at all pool sites. The excellent staff were instantly at hand to help with towels, drinks, snacks and whatever was needed.
The restaurants may be booked in advanced through a downloadable app, after check-in has completed and then booked restaurants for our entire stay. There are 8 excellent restaurants to choose from, some of which offer breakfast a-la-carte which were all of an extremely high quality.
We used the main lobby bar infrequently but it was good when we did. The entertainment was very good and suitable for all. There was also a 1-hour sunset boat trip offered around the bay which did not offer a great deal to see but was fun nevertheless and an opportunity to socialise with other guests. The iKos Aria also offered us a car to use for a day (a Tesla) which was great for exploring other beaches around the small island of Kos and to make our second trip to the Old Town. We had taken advantage of the bus to the town earlier in the week.
Everything worked well and we will ultimately look back on the Aria as the most genuinely hospitable hotel we have holidayed at. The staff really made this a wonderful stay and the food was exemplary across all of the restaurants. The gardens were maintained to an outstanding level and really shone in the sunshine and glowed with artificial lighting at night.
Nothing was too much trouble. If attention were to be made in regards to ‘pool comfort’ in regards to having a quiet place to relax and swim, it would be perfection.
We would definitely return to an iKos!

We have had yet another fantastic Ikos experience. I would highly recommend you book deluxe for this one. We were so glad that we did as the deluxe pool was fantastic. John and Anistasia were amazing, and we managed to order B52's thanks to Anistasia. Shout out to Fabian at the deluxe pool as well. Food was fantastic everywhere 😋 I would recommend if you go to the island with the church, take sensible footware. Sliders were difficult to climb in but managed. I would also say the sunset cruise is a must, captain is fantastic, and you also get a lot of ouzo. Great holiday, thank you, Ikos team again. Will be back.
