Amazing place with an amazing service. We were there during the summer with our 18 months twins and everything was perfect. They have 8 restaurants and all were great, specially the Greek, Mediterranean, French and Japanese. And the personal at the hotel is really taking care of the guests.

We can't even begin to describe our time at Ikos Aria. Being our first time at any Ikos resort, we did not know what to expect and it was our honeymoon. First of all, October is an amazing time to be on Kos island. From the moment we arrived at the airport we were greeted personally with a cold beverage. Transfer services were amazing. You can't even imagine the location of this place. Located in Kefalos Bay you feel like you are on your own island. The resort is laid out so well, and the beach and pools are only a few minutes walk away. Rooms are gorgeous with fully stocked mini bar.
The landscape, beach, decor, food. Next level. They truly make you feel like you are deserving of luxury. Shout out to Ilias who made us feel like celebrities. The service staff made us feel like friends by the end of our 10 day stay. Take advantage of the dine out and car explore!! And the thermal circuit in the spa. We could have stayed forever and can't wait to come back.

Overall a good experience however there are some areas that we feel should be improved.
Positive:
- Convenient location by the airport, just 15 mins journey with a courtesy car service provided by the hotel
- In general, very friendly staff with attentive customer service approach
- Facilities and deco at the hotel very nice and stylish
- Rooms very nicely appointed
- Beach right next to the hotel (private hotel beach)
- Variety of planned activities for all age groups
- Very family friendly and extremely well prepared for babies, with even a tailored menu for toddlers at each restaurant
- Great extras, for example a complimentary Tesla car for a day to go around the island.
- Good selection of restaurants and bars at the resort for dinner
Things to improve:
- The temperature at the large beach pool was way too cold. Water was only heated at this pool on one day throughout our stay (you could feel warm water being pumped). The rest of the days it felt very cold in the water and as a consequence there was always very few people in the pool.
- In general day time menu was limited and the quality was not up to standards for a five star hotel. The selection of restaurants is fairly poor for lunch with honly a portion of all serving food at this time.
- Despite of the long list of wines available at the restaurants we felt most of those were just at table wine standards (around $5 range online on the web). Again, you cannot expect expensive wines being served at an all inclusive resort, but for luxury 5 starts accommodation the quality of those should be slightly higher. You don’t want to feel you are drinking standard table wine on such special occasion (and paying $750 per night).
- Breakfast menu is only served until 10.30am at main buffet restaurant, until 11am in one other restaurant and until 11am served as room service. You simply cannot get something as simple as scrambled eggs at 11.15am, not even through room service.
- The beach is not as nice as it looks in the pictures, sharp rocks to get in the water and mostly artificial.
Despite above deficiencies, we would return to this hotel and would recommended it as a family friendly all inclusive resort.

An all round brilliant holiday experience.
We visited in May for 10 days, bit of a rocky start with no airport collection on arrival and a 2.5 hour wait at reception whilst they scrambled to find us a room. Ended up being upgraded, we suspect because they had none available of the room we booked, which made up for a pretty bad first impression, but right at the start of the season with a new batch of staff stuff like this must happen.
But after that, was a 10/10 experience. Excellent service, brilliant food, drink and cocktails. 1 day Tesla rental, yoga, wine tasting and peddle boat rentals kept us busy. Restaurants were really amazing, French one definitely our favourite. Drinks had a habit of not arriving. Very child friendly, maybe a little too child friendly if you don’t have kids, but had an adults only area and pools. Definitely book restaurants in advance.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ikos! Unparalleled all inclusive experience for us. We look forward to trying the different resorts over next few years!

Everything was perfect! Staff were friendly and helpful, literally everything you could think of was taken care of. Food quality and preparation was 5 star all around. The hotel and facilities were kept extremely clean and a lot of care has been taken to ensure a high standard of hygiene. I look forward to going back one day or trying another Ikos resort.
The resort really caters to families and we really enjoyed being at a family place with our small children. I don’t think I would go as a couple without kids because there are a lot of families but that’s just a personal preference. Lastly, making special requests before we arrived was very easy. I really appreciate that staff were so responsive on email.
