Great hotel, great position, beachfront and close to the harbor, bars, restaurants and 15 minute walk to the old town, friendly staff, great food, we had half-board, very clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. We head rooms overlooking both beaches, sunset was stunning. Rooms do need some refurbishment but we didn't even notice it due to all other great things. We wanted to go this year as well but unfortunately there were no available rooms for the dates we were able to go.

Always welcoming staff at the front desk. They kindly upgraded us knowing we were staying longer. Across from the beach. Great location. Greek bouzoukia playing every night which was great to be serenaded with that on our arrival. Loved the hallways of frames which were filled with memorabilia of the old Rhodes and what was years ago. Really interesting and a nice touch. Nikos, restaurant manager always made us feel welcome at the breakfast buffet each morning.

-Unacceptable Store Policy and Behavior- We chose this hotel's beach bar for a drink and a morning swim in the sea. My family and I sat at the seaside tables maintained by the establishment, dressed in beachwear and swimsuits, just like the other patrons. Many customers were only in swimsuits. It should be noted that my mother, who was with us, is a regular at the hotel's restaurant on an almost daily basis, but neither she nor I had ever sat at the beach area before. After we had our drinks, we decided to go for a swim. We left our belongings at our table and my family headed towards the beach. To avoid causing any inconvenience to the waiter, I went alone to ask to pay, so that we wouldn't leave our table unattended and have the waiter searching for us, as most people do. When the waiter realized that we were going to the beach, he informed me kindly that "it is not allowed for everyone to go to the beach together and that someone had to stay at the table (!)." This was a "store policy" that we were not informed about when we sat down. When I asked why this was the case, as I essentially had to separate from my family for no substantial reason on the first day of our vacation, a second extremely rude waiter suddenly appeared and told me in a very harsh tone that "if we go to the beach and leave our things at the table, they will be taken and we will find them at the reception!!!!" Are you serious, people? We come as customers to spend our money and you threaten us on top of that? 1 star for your terrible policy and behavior.

The hotel is next to the beach. The breakfast was tasty. The waiters are professional. The live music was great. The only complaint is that we had to beg for blue towels. Also the balconies are so small but it was nice to be a hotel guest.

We're here now on a 5 day break from UK. Can't fault this hotel. Perfect location opposite the beach. 10mins very pleasant walk along 'the front' to the old town, passing the harbour (for many boat trips) bars, restaurants etc. Hotel staff are all pleasant and very helpful, rooms are a good size and have everything you could want- including tea/coffee, fridge. Lovely terrace out front for drinks and bar snacks. Lounge area for relaxing and evening musical entertainment. Probably not the place for families with young children or people who like to relax around the pool as this area is very small and a little shaded. Breakfast is good....plenty of choice and the food is nice and hot.
