A truly relaxing stay at ibis Our stay at ibis was everything we hoped for and more. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach, with stunning ocean views, peaceful surroundings, and that magical tropical vibe that instantly puts you at ease. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and cared for. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Toto from the restaurant team. Although he wasn’t there during breakfast, he made our lunches absolutely memorable. His kind smile, thoughtful service, and positive energy brought a special charm to every meal. It’s people like him who truly make a difference in the guest experience — thank you, Toto! The variety of food offered throughout the week was also impressive. From Thai favourites to Western comfort food, everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The only small downside was that the pool closed a bit early at 7 PM — we would have loved to enjoy a quiet swim under the evening sky. But honestly, that’s a minor detail in what was otherwise a perfect stay. We’re leaving feeling relaxed, happy, and very grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beachfront getaway with heart, soul, and great service.

Great location! We had the best view from room 4121 in building 5. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. Unfortunately, we experienced a bad smell coming from the toilet. However, the service was excellent — the staff truly did their best and we really appreciated their efforts. Breakfast was very basic, with not enough vegetables or variety. Still, for those looking for a budget-friendly hotel, this is a great solution.

We stayed at the hotel 6 nights. We had a family interconnected rooms. We could not complain about anything! Great daily room service, drinking water every day, clean pools, beautiful beach, ping- pong table and many more. Quiet, clean place with helpful staff. Great breakfast and 15 min walk distance to the night market.

Could not fault a thing. This stunning resort is fantastic for a longer stay on Samui. The location is on the beach and it’s a 10 minute ride to fisherman’s village. The room is spacious enough and comfortable. The staff are absolutely lovely and nothings too much. The pool area is a wonderful place to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and drinks that were on offer at the pool as well. We will be back next year, and for longer too!!!

I highly recommend this place, especially for families. Ibis is a 'budget brand' but I think this resort has made really good decisions on what to be budget on and what not to be. It has a proper resort feel with a great beachfront location, good pools, plentiful loungers, nice playground and very well maintained grounds. The 'budget' part of the resort feels like the small rooms and the buffet breakfast. The rooms though are clean and comfortable and the breakfast isn't bad, it just isn't great. We spent our days by the pool, on the beach or doing activities so a small room was the least of our concerns.
