Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach

We travelled to the Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach Jan 30-Feb 6. We had an 11 month old and a 3 year old along with grandparents. Overall we absolutely loved our stay. The resort itself was beautiful and well laid out, the beach was sandy and had a few rocks but also a very easily accessible swimming area. There was so much wildlife on the resort our kiddos loved it! Our room had a few water and power issues but it was easy to put in a repair ticket through the app and both times the issues were resolved in 30-45mins. The food was really good and there was a great variety at the buffets for both lunch and dinner. We were able to book reservations at 3 of the restaurants through the app which was very easy to do. Our 3 year old was too young for the star camp, but there was a 0-3 year old area by the pool that had an outdoor splash pool and gated beach area and an indoor play area with toys, change tables and a nursing station that we used a lot. The playground up in the shopping centre was also great and we used it nearly every day. The service was great everywhere we went, the staff was so friendly and accommodating and the drinks we had at all the bars were so good! Our two complaints were the cleanliness of our bathroom (the bathtub was a bit scummy), and the lack of transparency around their loyalty program sales pitch they tried to get us to do. We were invited for a tour of the resort and a ride to breakfast the morning after we arrived to help 'orient' ourselves. It turns out it was a 90min sales pitch into their loyalty program, which we had to decline several times before they brought us back to the buffet. Overall we would definitely book at the Iberostar again!

Amazing place to go! Second time here for myself and I will definitely be back again!! I loved the atmosphere, and the people. Armando was one of the best guys there always making life a party!! If you come and you happen to see him say hi and join in his activity's! The animals were amazing and the plant life is beautiful. The only thing I will say is the cleaning of the room was subpar, garbage was found on the ground, sink has been leaking all week causing a puddle and has not been fixed all week, as well as a glass got broken in my room. After they cleaned, we were still finding glass on the ground, which is a huge safety hazard considering we are in our bare feet after the pool or the beach. But all on all was an amazing trip and will definitely be back!!

I had an excellent stay at the Iberostar resorts! My room was spacious, had a gorgeous view and a rainfall shower (which I loooved!) The view was breathtaking and the staff were polite, fantastic and wonderful people. My room was always cleaned very quickly and i found the resort very clean. The animals were an added bonus! I had a great time and enjoyed all of the activities! Special shout out to Armand who was our hype man! I would absolutely come back to Iberostar in Mexico.

We booked this all-inclusive resort through Air Canada in late October 2025, and everything exceeded our expectations. The airport transfer was very well organized and seamless. The hotel itself was excellent in every aspect — spacious, clean, well maintained, and efficiently managed. The staff were extremely polite, professional, and always willing to help, providing outstanding service throughout our stay. The beach was clean and beautiful, with only a small amount of seaweed that did not affect swimming at all. The temperature was perfect; both the swimming pools and the ocean were very comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and would absolutely recommend this resort.

We just checked in and it was a fantastic check-in experience. It’s a large complex but very welcoming. I spent some time with Emanuel from concierge services. He was absolutely fantastic in helping me figure out where everything is and talked about the restaurants and times and cuisines and he was absolutely great! We’re really looking forward to enjoy enjoying the rest of our week here!
