A wonderful hotel with plenty to do. An amazing variety of dinners and evening entertainment for the whole family. What really surprised me? The professionalism and kindness of the reception staff. Especially Ivan and Kevin, who took the initiative to start chatting to me in our native language. That was a lovely touch. What’s more, with so many guests, the staff immediately took an interest in sorting out every detail and addressed us personally (by name), which is simply lovely. The dedication of the housekeeping staff is also very important – the girls do a tremendous job and do it really well, leaving little touches for the children, such as crayons and colouring books, but also for the adults – fresh flowers in the room after it’s been cleaned. The work carried out by the whole team at such a large hotel – simply a masterpiece! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

The hotel and the rooms were clean. We greatly appreciated the ice creams by the pool during the day and the drinks that were passed around in the evening. The staff were always incredibly nice and helpful. Not forced, but natural, heartfelt friendliness. An extra thank you to Martina from guest services for her listening, understanding ear, and for subsequently resolving the room issue in a constructive manner. We stayed at Iberostar Waves Cristina to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and absolutely loved our experience! From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel so welcome. The service was wonderful, and every single staff member without exception was smiling, kind, and very polite throughout our stay. The hotel was always spotless, and the cleanliness really stood out to us. Everything was extremely clean and very well maintained every day. Our room was excellent, comfortable, spacious, and cleaned to a very high standard. We were also impressed by the variety of food – there were so many options every day, and everything felt fresh and well organized. We especially loved the entertainment and activities at the hotel. The shows and presentations were amazing and made our evenings even more special. Another thing we really appreciated was the hotel app, which was very useful and convenient during our stay. It made everything easier and helped us stay informed about activities and hotel information. Honestly, we felt spoiled every single day. Thank you for making our anniversary trip so memorable. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel made a very positive impression right from the moment we arrived. The reception staff and the entire team were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with a great variety and outstanding quality. We especially loved the family rooms, which were very spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. Another highlight was the spa area. As I was suffering from back pain during my holiday, I decided to book a therapeutic massage. The treatment was provided by Cesia and it was an outstanding experience. She was highly professional, and the massage significantly helped relieve my pain. I can highly recommend both her services and the spa facilities to anyone visiting the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay – we would be delighted to come back! 😊

With Iberostar now part of the IHG fidelity program, we've chosen two of their properties for our Palma de Mallorca vacation. Waves Cristina - one of them. The IHG status was recognized upon check it, that was nice, an upgrade would have been nicer, but no complains about that. Our room was "Family Room" - spacious enough for two adults and two older kids. It was clean, and with a small exception, that was promptly handled by the staff, nothing we can comment about. Our plan was "Half-board". Breakfast was excellent - a lot to choose from, one needs to be really picky or have very strict dietary restrictions, and even thought, just ask, they will accommodate. Dinner was pretty varied also, and again covering all possible tastes and diets. Here I'd probably highlight the huge selection of sweets, deserts and fruits. Swimming pool is large and deep enough (1.8m) to be able to actually swim. There are shallow areas, a small kids zone and a jacuzzi pool. The number of sunbeds is quite big, we've always found four. However, we believe that during the summer when the hotel is full, this might be challenging. Apart from that, the hotel has two tennis and three paddle-tennis courts and can rent-out equipment - just make sure to book in advance. The beach is one block away - just make sure you don't walk bare footed, there are glass shards due to a street recycling container. In front of the hotel, there is a bus station for 25 (to city center) and A2 (to the airport). Overall, our vacation at Iberostar Waves Cristina was great and we would happily return.
