All in all, it was a very nice stay. I did not use any of the amenities outside of breakfast/dinner and the bar/lounge but the hotel and the rooms were clean. The staff was always extremely nice and helpful. I appreciated the evening entertainment each night as well. We were here for 7 nights with a 40+ person golf trip and I think the hotel was a great choice for hosting our group.

Stayed here in Iberostar Waves Cristina for weekend break in January 2026. Everything from the day we entered the resort to our departure was FLAWLESS. Staff at check in counters, restaurants, swimming pool, bar, caffe - all very friendly, polite and helpful. Special thanks to Suanny (reception manager), she made sure that all 6 rooms in our party were on same floor and kept us well informed right from the booking time to check out. Daniel in the bar/restaurant area was super polite, always ready to help and most importantly always with a smile - thank you very much Daniel for making our stay a memorable one and will be back soon. All in all, it was a great weekend break at Iberostar Waves Cristina, and last but not least few key points for future guests- Location: Very convenient and only 12 min from airport in taxi Palma old city, cathedral, shopping area like outlet mall, Primark, H&M etc all within 15 min. drive Parking - there is paid parking in resort but we opted for on street free parking which is a bit of a challenge to find but we were always lucky to find one. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner and 24 hour caffe in the lounge - lot of verities and I must say food quality was of very high standard. Beach - 5 min. walk from the resort. Evening entertainment: All great stuff for kids and whole family.

Overall, we’ve had a very enjoyable stay and are genuinely having a good time. It exceeded out expectations. The atmosphere is great, there are plenty of activities, and most of the staff and facilities are excellent. There is a lot this resort does very well. That said, some of the negative reviews are valid, especially during the winter holiday period. During winter peak times, the resort operates under pressure largely because an entire section is closed due to weather, pushing all guests into fewer facilities. As a result, dining areas and common spaces felt overcrowded, particularly around Christmas. The food service struggled at peak hours: insufficient seating, dishes frequently running out, and guests feeling forced to arrive exactly at opening time. On one occasion, staff asked us to return later due to lack of space; when we did, there was still limited food available, while at the same time we were repeatedly encouraged to finish quickly as the restaurant was close to closing. This was frustrating and avoidable with better planning. There are also some issues worth noting: poor soundproofing in rooms, minor maintenance concerns (including mold and unstable shower temperatures), and very inefficient lifts, especially for higher floors. On a positive note, when things weren’t under pressure, the food quality and service were genuinely very good. After raising our concerns, management took the time to speak with us personally, offered a sincere apology, and made a thoughtful gesture, which was appreciated. Overall, I do recommend the resort, particularly outside of winter peak periods. With better capacity management during colder months, this could easily be a consistently excellent experience

We loved staying here. The service was super great. Room amazing. Food was excellent, great selection and so much to eat. The service was extraordinarily great. Star camp for the kids to keep them entertained daily was superb. We only wished we had a bath in the room as my kids love their bubble bath. However both indoor and outdoor pool compensated to a good extent.

Kannü Super

The staff provided exceptionally friendly service and were highly receptive to guest feedback. The location offered easy bus access to both the city center and the airport. The all-inclusive deal featured a great variety of high-quality food and beverages. We enjoyed the daily dinner specials, particularly the seafood; the shrimp and fish dishes were excellent. -> very recommended for family with kids
