Overall, we’ve had a very enjoyable stay and are genuinely having a good time. It exceeded out expectations. The atmosphere is great, there are plenty of activities, and most of the staff and facilities are excellent. There is a lot this resort does very well. That said, some of the negative reviews are valid, especially during the winter holiday period. During winter peak times, the resort operates under pressure largely because an entire section is closed due to weather, pushing all guests into fewer facilities. As a result, dining areas and common spaces felt overcrowded, particularly around Christmas. The food service struggled at peak hours: insufficient seating, dishes frequently running out, and guests feeling forced to arrive exactly at opening time. On one occasion, staff asked us to return later due to lack of space; when we did, there was still limited food available, while at the same time we were repeatedly encouraged to finish quickly as the restaurant was close to closing. This was frustrating and avoidable with better planning. There are also some issues worth noting: poor soundproofing in rooms, minor maintenance concerns (including mold and unstable shower temperatures), and very inefficient lifts, especially for higher floors. On a positive note, when things weren’t under pressure, the food quality and service were genuinely very good. After raising our concerns, management took the time to speak with us personally, offered a sincere apology, and made a thoughtful gesture, which was appreciated. Overall, I do recommend the resort, particularly outside of winter peak periods. With better capacity management during colder months, this could easily be a consistently excellent experience

We loved staying here. The service was super great. Room amazing. Food was excellent, great selection and so much to eat. The service was extraordinarily great. Star camp for the kids to keep them entertained daily was superb. We only wished we had a bath in the room as my kids love their bubble bath. However both indoor and outdoor pool compensated to a good extent.

We have been a week at the hotel with about 20-25 people. All family and friends because two of us were getting married here on the island. It was a great stay here af the hotel, in every aspect. Great food, drinks, rooms. Lovely staff of people who were ever so helpfull and friendly. And a few nights we could dance in the festive hall during the last days of the year. Thank you all!

The staff provided exceptionally friendly service and were highly receptive to guest feedback. The location offered easy bus access to both the city center and the airport. The all-inclusive deal featured a great variety of high-quality food and beverages. We enjoyed the daily dinner specials, particularly the seafood; the shrimp and fish dishes were excellent. -> very recommended for family with kids

Just got back from the most incredible week at Iberostar Waves Cristina and I'm already looking at dates to return! This place exceeded every expectation. Location is unbeatable - literally 2 minutes walk to Playa de Palma beach. We'd have breakfast, grab our towels, and be on the gorgeous sandy beach before the kids could even ask "are we there yet?" The beach is stunning with crystal clear water and plenty of space for everyone. The food was phenomenal! The breakfast buffet at Es Molins restaurant was absolutely massive - fresh pastries, made-to-order eggs, local cheeses, fruits, cereals, and so much more. But the dinner buffet is where they really shine. Every night there was incredible variety - fresh seafood, perfectly cooked meats, paella, pasta stations, salads, and the desserts were to die for. The quality was restaurant-level, not typical hotel buffet. We ate there every single night and never got bored. For families with kids, this place is heaven! The kids' club had daily activities that kept our children entertained for hours - arts and crafts, games, mini disco in the evening. They made friends immediately and didn't want to leave! There's a separate kids' pool plus a fantastic main outdoor pool surrounded by sun loungers. The indoor heated pool was perfect for cooler evenings. The hotel also has tennis courts, paddle tennis, a football pitch, and bikes you can rent to explore the beautiful promenade. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - special shout out to the team at reception who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pine trees that surround the property. The whole atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful despite being so close to everything. One small note on parking - the hotel's own parking is somewhat limited, but there's plenty of free street parking right around the hotel, so it was never actually an issue for us. Everything about this hotel was perfect - the location, the food, the facilities, the staff, the cleanliness. This is exactly what a family beach holiday should be! Can't recommend it highly enough!
