Absolutely brillant time had in this hotel. Great experience so far, staff cannot be anymore helpful and friendly. The food is second to none, great choices and all so fresh, the chefs all really friendly and happy to explain what things are. Even with a fussy eater in our party we have all enjoyed the food every night. Jonathan our waiter in the dining room went above and beyond on our whole trip, very friendly, remembering our drinks for everyone (8 of us), and even brought a birthday cake to our niece who was turning 7 on our trip. We all felt very welcomed, and he made a great impression on all of us! The rooms are spacious and clean and the balcony is very clean. All 4 pools are great. The games room has been a big hit with the kids. No complaints at all and would definitely recommend to everyone!

We have had a great stay in the Bouganville Playa. The hotel common areas are bright and spacious as are the rooms themselves. The pool area is huge and features different pools including flumes for children. The hotel is ideal for families, couples or solo travellers with welcoming staff. The food is excellent, a vast and varying selection at both breakfast and dinner - there is something for almost everyone, the children and one very fussy adult in our party never struggled to find something to eat. A particular shout out to Jonathan in the dining area who consistently went above and beyond during our stay!

Excellent service in the restaurant, thanks to all the waiters and cooks, the cuisine is insanely delicious. We really liked it. The location is wonderful. The only minus is the old numbers, urgent repairs are required. And also you have a cat stuck in a tree and screamed for a long time, for 4 whole days and no one helped her, although we appealed to all the hotel staff. Be kinder to animals, no one but us can help them! And so everything was fine, thank you very much.

My family stayed here for a long weekend in January. The staff is so kind. Our room on the 8th floor had a comfortable king size bed and a large pull it for our 7 yo. The room had an amazing view. The food was good and very fresh. The chefs were nice and attentive. Everything was clean. The pools are great. The slides, playground and kids area are so fun! We loved the all the activities for adults and children. They had daily and nightly performances. We loved staying at this hotel and will be back. Hopefully soon.

Pros: location, entertainment option for kids, staff was generally helpful but restricted by weird hotel policies on how much they could help Cons: really old rooms, it seems common areas may have been renovated, but rooms are seriously overdue a renovation. For the same category of rooms, there can be completely different experiences. We did not like the view from the room that we got initially, they wanted us to upgrade to get a better room, we did not agree and insisted on how the view from the room should look like as per their own website. Then they changed us to a 'proper' room in our category. In a double bed room they had joined two single beds - it was laughable as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. There is no kettle, no dental kit, the toiletries (body wash, shampoo etc) are diluted - really poor for a supposedly 4* hotel that charges 300 per night in the off-season. Requested a slightly late checkout (1 hr extra) on a Sunday, request denied - such a large hotel and you cannot hold 1 room for an additional hour? What checkin rush do you have on a Sunday off-season? These constraints maybe acceptable for a small boutique hotel, not a large resort where we are anyways not getting any personalized attention given the scale of operations. The management needs to seriously look at the processes in place, the property has potential to be great.
