We had a truly wonderful stay at the Paraiso Maya resort. The grounds of this entire property are absolutely gorgeous! You can enjoy walking around and taking in the beatiful landscape or there are plenty of shuttles that come around to take you where you need to go. The entertainment staff does an amazing job of making everything so much fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the nightly entertainment. With this being an all inclusive, everything we needed was right at this resort and we didn't have to leave once we arrived. The staff is very attentive to your needs. Everyone from the wait staff at the restaurants, housekeeping and the concierge went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. A special thank you to Betsy at the concierge desk for working with us to ensure our every need was met. We will definitely be going back to this lovely resort!

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation and can't say enough great things about this resort! The beach is truly beautiful — clean, relaxing, and perfect for games, reading or just soaking up the sun. There was always something fun happening, from lively afternoon pool games to activities for all ages. A special shoutout to the entertainment team — especially Franco — who made our stay extra memorable. Their energy, friendliness, and constant enthusiasm really set the tone for the whole experience. The nightly entertainment was incredibly professional, and the beach fire show is an absolute must-see. After the shows, the music and dancing hosted by the entertainment team kept the fun going into the evening. The entire staff works incredibly hard and it shows in every interaction — attentive, kind, and always willing to help. The resort strikes a great balance between being family-friendly and offering plenty of opportunities to relax, including a wonderful spa experience. We had massages on the beach and they were amazing. Food was another highlight: lots of variety, something for everyone, and great gluten-free options which we really appreciated. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed — a perfect place to recharge after full days of fun. Our room had a very loud air-condition unit and we were in an accessible room that made for an awkward toilet position. We didn't want to go through the trouble of changing rooms so we just adapted. I'm sure they would have moved us if we asked. Overall, a fantastic vacation with great people, great food, beautiful surroundings, and memories we’ll definitely cherish. This was our 3rd time traveling to this resort and we will absolutely return!

Our family of five (3 tweens/teens) had the best week at this resort. The resort is well maintained and clean. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with delicious food options. The resort is huge with countless things to keep you and your kiddos busy for the week, but our favorite was just lounging at the beach. We were very impressed with the staff and the service! We will definitely come back.

Just back from Iberostar Joia Paradise and overall we had a great group vacation. Monsey from pool entertainment was hands down the MVP of the trip. Her energy, enthusiasm, and engagement made every day better. She sets the tone for the pool and makes it such a fun place to be. A huge thank you to Elsa, the F&B Manager, for helping us with dinner reservations two nights in a row. Without her help, we would have struggled. She was responsive and genuinely cared about resolving the issue. Constructive feedback: please improve the restaurant reservation system and responsiveness to guest needs. It felt harder than it should be to enjoy dinner experiences at a resort of this caliber. Overall, beautiful property, great atmosphere — just tighten up the operations around dining.

We had a fantastic time at Iberostar Joia Paradise. The property is stunning and the service in many areas was strong. Monsey from the entertainment team was the highlight of our entire trip. She brought joy, energy, and personality to every day at the pool. She creates an atmosphere that keeps guests engaged and having fun. Truly unforgettable. We are very thankful to Elsa, the F&B Manager, who helped secure dinner reservations for us two nights in a row. She really stepped up and made sure our group was taken care of — that level of service mattered. Our main feedback would be to improve the restaurant reservation process and overall responsiveness to guest needs. It was difficult to secure reservations and that created unnecessary stress during the stay. Overall, we had a great trip — just hoping to see improvements in dining logistics.
