We had the most incredible experience at Iberostar Selection Lagos Algarve! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so warm, friendly, and welcoming. They offered us a drink while sorting out our rooms, which was such a thoughtful gesture after a long journey. They even went out of their way to arrange our rooms right next door to our friends, which made the trip even more special. It was my cousin’s birthday during our stay, and the staff truly went above and beyond. They surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake and champagne delivered straight to our room – such a thoughtful touch that made the day unforgettable. The hotel is spotless and beautifully maintained. The food was incredible, with so many delicious options, and we loved enjoying our meals while taking in the stunning beach views – it made every meal feel special. Our fridge was also kept fully stocked with drinks, sweets, and snacks, which was a lovely extra touch. Both the indoor pool and spa area are amazing – so relaxing and perfect for unwinding. The outdoor pool area is just as beautiful, with plenty of space to soak up the sun and enjoy the views. Honestly, we couldn’t fault a single thing. The service, the atmosphere, the food, and the little thoughtful touches made this trip unforgettable. If you’re visiting Lagos, Portugal, this is the place to stay – 1000% recommend, and we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for a week as all inclusive guests and thought that the hotel was fantastic. The staff were excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful and did everything they could to ensure that we had a good holiday. The food in the buffet was generally excellent, they had a good range of food at each meal. We especially enjoyed the wide range of seafood and cheeses and the grilled to order meats and fish. Once again all staff are super attentive to ensure you have a great meal! One of our party had a gluten intolerance and she was able to have a good selection at each meal. Most dishes have the allergens clearlh marked by each dish but it would be good if these were against each dish. The hotel is very modern and clean. Its situated to have fantastic views over the ocean and their are multiple bars to take advantage of this which include a good range of drinks. We enjoyed the short walk down to the beach where a boardwalk takes you all the way info Lagos! Finally, the hotel was great in supporting us with additional accessibility requirements including an acessible wetroom and helping us source a wheelchair to rent. The hotel is very easy to get around in a chair or with a stick and staff are all generous in providing any possible extra support

We had the most incredible holiday staying at the Iberostar Selection Lagos for 10days with our 11month old daughter. The hotel itself was so clean and beautifully maintained with an array of comfortable inside and outside sitting areas and swimming pools which we made good use of. The staff were amongst the friendliest we have ever experienced and greeted us with smiles and assistance wherever we went. We arrived late in the evening and Jason and Manuel at the front desk insisted we go down to enjoy dinner before going through the check in process, and that set the tone for how accommodating everyone was during the whole visit. We had a ground floor room with a Bali bed and it was not only beautifully clean and spacious, the outside space was invaluable while having our baby with us. We had chosen to go all-inclusive and that was the best decision as the food at the buffet restaurant and snack bar were absolutely delicious and we sampled an array of cocktails and hot beverages on offer. Sergio, Juan and Joshua were our Maitre Ds and they greeted us with a smile at every mealtime, even making a special fuss of our little girl and making us feel so welcome and special in the dining hall. The wait staff couldn't have been friendlier or more happy to help including Jedilsom, Tatiana, Vivienne, Nathalia, Carla and Andressa, their happy demeanour brightened our days! A special mention goes to Shalini and Ravi who made the most delicious omelettes for us every morning and were more than happy to chat while we waited. Finally a special mention to Flavio who learnt very quickly that we were Pina Colada fans and did not hesitate to provide us with one at every passing moment! The outside space at the hotel was beautiful and the walk to the nearby beach so easy and quick. The beach was stunning and the boardwalk took us all the way into Lagos. Lagos itself was a gorgeous seaside town and is definitely worth a future visit. All in all we had a fantastic time and cannot thank the staff enough for making our holiday so special and fun. We had a fantastic stay at Iberostar Lagos! Beautiful location, spacious and clean rooms, and excellent food. The staff were warm, professional, and made us feel truly welcome. Our 15-month-old daughter was treated with so much care—it made the experience even more memorable for our family. Highly recommend for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway!

Great hotel! Came here for a few nights and our initial check in, unfortunately wasn’t very welcoming. We were served by Anna and she wasn’t very personable and told us to wait for our rooms, as they weren’t ready which was fine, her attitude towards us wasn’t the greatest. We were then served by Djani and she was great. She helped us get our room and when we we’d come down she would always say hi and help with any questions we had. The hotel itself is well kept. It’s right behind the beach and it’s a quick walk. There are some restaurants around the hotel but you can do down near the marina and there are great choices for food. They also have fresh water stations on each floor which was great! The nightly entertainment as well is great for everyone.
