Lovely hotel with relaxed atmosphere and very attentive staff. Jason checked us in and was highly professional and organised. Aliou is very welcoming and humorous, as well as providing a fantastic service in both the lobby bar and main restaurant. Claudia provides an excellent waiting-on service in the bar. Hassan provides great service in the restaurant. My parter has enjoyed the aqua-fit classes several times, with all of the staff involved being encouraging, fun and professional in their approach. The hotel could be improved if the main pool was made adult only with the bottom pool focusing on being family-orientated. Otherwise this is a fantastic hotel, with excellent entertainment and staff.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was amazing, very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect—close to everything we needed. The atmosphere was great, and the staff made us feel very welcome. A special thank you to Hassan, the waiter, who was absolutely fantastic! He was always smiling, cheerful, and ready to help with anything. His positive energy really made our experience even better. We would definitely come back!

An excellent hotel in a lovely quiet location in the Algarve. I really cannot fault Iberostar Lagos - we have had a fabulous week. Rooms lovely, spacious and clean, staff friendly and helpful/ from the bar manager who knows what we want to drink before we even ask, to Sophia and her team leading aqua fit and yoga plus other workshops every day with smiles and a Portuguese welcome, to the evening entertainment which has been varied and of excellent quality - we are looking forward to tonight’s magic show! Food is varied and plenty of it- portion sizes in the snack bar are massive! The marina is a 10 min walk away, the beach just a few mins along a wooden walkway - pool area is clean . Pool waiters attentive and friendly. Really not anything negative to say.

We went here for a week in July and it was by far the nicest, cleanest, most amazing hotel we have ever been to. Staff were accommodating and friendly, food was amazing (go all inclusive, you wont regret it!). Beach is really close by. Overall, it was the best holiday resort we have ever been to and we would have happily spent all our time just soley in the hotel. Thanks again to all the staff, wish I could thank you all by name!

The hotel is in a great location and has great amenities with top notch service, Aliou (so) is tireless and always made sure we were satisfied. The outdoor pool is long but only goes to around 5 ft. Not sure is this is typical in Lagos or not, but common areas are not air conditioned. Otherwise, a great stay.
