Very nice hotel at an amazing location. I especially liked that the hotel is very child-friendly with lots of activities and pools for children. It provides relaxing as well as fun experience. What I also found particularly nice is that there is no bottled water but water fountains everywhere, which immensely decreases the plastic waste. The food was very good at times but mediocre at other times. For example, I’ve never eaten such tasteless scrambled eggs before. But deserts and cakes were exceptionally good. Drinks were also various and delicious. Sea is incredibly beautiful and very easy to reach from the hotel. We’d definitely consider going back to the same hotel in the future. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

I do not recommend staying here! The food is terrible, and the Greek restaurant was especially disappointing — tasteless dishes of poor quality. There are no beach towels available, and you have to go to the reception and wait in line for 40 minutes to get them! This is simply unacceptable. There are far too many children, making it impossible to relax peacefully — noise and shouting everywhere. It’s also impossible to make reservations at the restaurants, which is very frustrating. The price for accommodation is definitely not worth the quality of services provided. I strongly advise against this hotel.

We spent a week (mid Sept 2024) on a couples’ holiday at Playa. Initially, we were a bit nervous when we saw kids and young babies, as we thought it was an adults-only hotel (there are two hotels in the complex, Park being aimed at families/kids etc.). However, it turned out to be just fine. We were able to relax and received excellent service throughout our stay. This was my first all-inclusive experience, and I must say, I absolutely loved it. The food was SUPERB, so much selection and the restaurants (the Spanish and the Greek) were excellent. Shout out to Tolo and his team for an amazing evening with live Flamenco dance/music. The hotel itself is superb, and the service is beyond amazing. There is something for everyone, activities throughout the day that people can sign up to and meet new people and taste new experiences. Every staff member does an incredible job, regardless of their role. They were all so helpful and friendly, and the hotel was generally very clean. We did notice that the room cleaning could have been better at first, but after mentioning it to the reception, it remained spotless for the rest of our stay. We tried the sauna twice, but it wasn’t working on both occasions - we flagged it but gave up after waiting nearly 20 minutes. The days where it wasn't sunny/windy, we hoped to get to the indoor swimming pool, but it was small and fully occupied with kids and babies, which made us feel awkward about going in.
The beach is just a 15-second walk from the back of the hotel. However, we might have been unlucky with the beach and water quality due to the time of year, as the water wasn’t great.
If you’re looking for relaxation and superb service, this hotel is the perfect choice. Our positive experience justified the cost, though it is on the higher side if you’re being financially mindful.
If you're looking for purely Adults-only, I would probably recommend looking elsewhere.
Will i be back in the future? Absolutely.

It was an amazing experience, and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff, especially the reception and entertainment teams, were professional and friendly. The hotel is well-managed, and we were impressed by the attention to detail. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. The facilities, food, and drinks surpassed our expectations. The entertainment activities and programs were enjoyable, though we would appreciate if they extended beyond 11 PM, especially on weekends.
Overall, the Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa hotel is highly recommended for a relaxing vacation, whether as a couple or with children, due to their excellent facilities and numerous activities for kids.

We've never gone wrong with Iberostar. This time we were the source of a small issue with our reservation. Front desk staff called the manager, Señor Antonio Jesus, who was super empathetic and forthcoming to find a solution in a timely and cordial manner. Our stay was great, as usual. Children loved it. Staff are kind and nice. We really appreciate he hospitality and thanks for fulfilling our holidays!
