My second time here and honestly love it. The food is great. What I didnt like was because of perference. Fun and a lot of activities and prizes. The first place where both guest and staff were so friendly and nice. Well some of them.. like 90% but i would definately come back. They really got their sh... together well esp after hurricane melissa

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montego Bay at the Joia resort. The service was exceptional and the food incredible. Location was a quick 20 minute drive from the airport. Daily entertainment was great and Alrick on the beach kept us entertained. The people here in Jamaica were eager to please and treated us like family. We will be back! Thanks Jamaica!!

Visited in mid Dec 2025, despite being under renovation from Hurricane Melissa, the experience was very good. We were one of the first guest to visit on the day the hotel opened, we enjoyed the tree lighting ceremony. Too Short and her team kept us busy and entertained. The variety of food was exceptional especially the theme night. Chef Marcus was exceptional. Aniffiah the lady that wear the glasses and welcome guest at the buffet was exceptional, very pleasant. Overall our experience was very good. Two days after returning home, I realized that the hotel drew CA$588 from my credit card, I called several times to find out the reason no one picked up,I also emailed the hotel no response. My bank is now investigation the matter as it was an extra charge by the hotel. The reservation was paid for in full from Oct 2025, we had no damages or anything that would cause the hotel to draw extra money from my credit card. Please respond to my email and return my money, I will be happy to update the world that you guys respond to my email and resolve the issue.

There was a lot I liked about my stay at this beautiful resort but by far it was the bartender Horace and this wonderful cook at the buffet, I did not catch her name other then it started with a V, but she was at the dinner buffet and would cook at the first station to your left. If you want wonderful service and just a fantastic vibe it is this place. I have been to multiple all inclusive resorts but this one exceed the service by far! I would 100% go back here just for the people! Can not wait to return 🥰

Overall the place was amazing and SO beautiful! The entertainment wasnt all that great, not much going on. Very repetitive. However Too Short & Finez kept things interesting and are the life of the party! Food was SO good. Housekeeping was decent- some days they didnt refill the coffee station. The fridge person missed my room 3 days in a row. Lastly. The thing that makes it so i will NEVER visit this resort again is : I enjoy the beaches which is where i like to spend my time. With this week long vacation , i only spent one day down there. Because of 2 things.. one being as soon as you step a foot on the beach , you have locals whistling and screaming out to you and second which is EXTREMELY DISGUSTING AND IN HUMAINE BEHAVIOUR. I was sitting on the beach with my family, there was a stray dog laying down in the shade. Security guard looks around to see if anyone was looking. He obviously didnt see me staring right at him. He lifts his leg up and STOMPS on this dogs tail on purpose. So much so that as soon as any of the dogs see the men in uniform .. they tuck their tail and run. I couldnt even believe my eyes and have been spreading the word about this to my social media / family and friends. Iberostar... DO BETTER.
