We‘ve been there during the Easter period, the hotel is absolutely amazing, rooms are impeccably clean, restaurant service is great, also the food choices are diversified, people have plenty to choose from. We have seen kind and generous hospitality around the hotel and not only, starting from the reception and ending with the last cleaning staff. Facials in the spa are worth the visit, very relaxing! We will definitely be back with the next occasion!
Special thanks to Antonio from the restaurant, Funny from the pool bar and last but not least Mr. Juan from the Cafe Bar! Best wishes!

A highlight of our family trip. With two under 4, it's hard to find the right balance of amenities for adults and kids, but this place hits a home run! There's a fun baby pool and playground for the youngest and an awesome water playground with three water slides for the older kids 3 and up. The pool is gigantic and there's even an indoor pool. Unfortunately the smaller indoor pool isn't heated and in April, all the water was frigid cold so no one lasted long in the water. But with a purchase of the all-inclusive package, we had plenty of fun poolside and attending the nightly entertainment. Kids were allowed to watch the musicians, magicians, comedians, and even the casino nights. We had a wonderful time and will be returning during future visits to the area.

The location was lovely. Away from the city and was more relaxed and quiet. The staff were outstanding and willing to attend our requests.
I can proudly and wholeheartedly say with full confidence that this was our best family holiday we ever had!
Many many thanks and hats off to Fran, Belen, Angela and the entire Star kids camp team for entertaining Shlok for the duration we stayed at this hotel. The team was very friendly, kind, keen, passionate, trustworthy, safe and caring. They had a range of fantastic fun-filled activities for children and adults too.
The memories we have gathered here will last us a lifetime and we shall definitely be returning!

Nice hotel in not so nice resort. Facilities are clean my room 436 was excellent with a sea view and separate small living area.
Food is good and staff attentive. Guests appear to be mostly German. Pool is lovely and the all inclusive drinks list is excellent.
Torrox itself I wouldn't be a fan off really. The beach is ok but the resort itself is run down and lacks character.

I recently stayed at the Iberostar Malaga Playa, and it truly deserves its five-star rating I am giving. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with spacious and well-equipped rooms providing a comfortable stay. The standout feature for me was the array of children's activities available, making it a perfect spot for family holidays.
The food at the hotel was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options that cater to all tastes. Dining here was a delight, with both the quality and the service consistently meeting high standards.
Located directly on the beach, the hotel offers stunning sea views and easy access to the sandy shores, which was a major plus. However, it's worth noting that there isn't much else in terms of attractions in the immediate vicinity, which might be a downside for those looking to explore the local area.
The only area for improvement would be the showers. Although functional, an upgrade could enhance the overall luxury experience of the hotel.
Overall, the Iberostar Malaga Playa is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing beachfront holiday with plenty of activities for children, great food, and comfortable accommodations.
