We’ve had a glorious stay for our summer break. The reception staff, especially Sharon, were fabulous. The food was lovely and the waiting staff were great, even in busy times. It was amazing to relax by the pool all day, with towels provided, a life guard present at times, and the totally fabulous Carlos who kept refreshing beverages flowing all day. The gym was great, the rooms were fresh and cleaned every day. Just across the road is a stunning tree lined park, smelling of jasmine at night and offering lots of shade during the hot days. The local architecture is stunning, but the August heat lends it to lazing by the pool rather than long walks. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the escape from the grind of every day living!!

Fantastic hotel with first class service. The hotel and its grounds are beautiful, very serene and has a relaxed feel about the whole place. Excellent gym, small but has all the equipment you may need. The shining star at this hotel is Carlos from Cuba, he is a wonderful man who tenders to everyone at the pools every need, always on hand with a smile and a complentary cocktail, a perfect example of excellent customer service from a man who seems to really love his job would 100% recommend this hotel

We have just returned from a magical week in this hotel. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Some reviews on here are critical of the star rating, but having stayed in many hotels around the world in my opinion the Iberostar Heritage fully deserves its five star rating and every day during our visit it lived up to its five stars. The staff are a credit to the hotel and from the warm welcome at check in to the moment we left there was never a member of staff pass us without a smile and a hello. The hotel is immaculate. From the marble tiled reception area to the rooms to the beautiful gardens and peaceful pool area everything is perfect. The breakfast buffet is extensive and the food in the cocktail bar is great. The rooms are large with everything we needed and serviced daily to a high standard.
The location was again for us perfect for us, right next to an amazing public park, a lovely area with a snack bar and restaurant, a bus stop outside the hotel into the centre of Santa Cruz. Several restaurants close by as well.
Thank you everyone at the Iberostar Heritage for providing us with the perfect holiday experience

Unexpectedly ended up here, and what a jem. Amazing staff, fabulous food and an awesome location to explore Santa Cruze. Underground car park for a hire car (€10 per day), and so peaceful. When I arrived, the King of Spain was here - I guess there is no better recommendation than that.

We are here on a weekend break and have spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool. This was much needed and during this time we have been served by Carlos who not only took the time to speak to us and recommend drinks but was both polite and friendly. He catered to our personal needs and made us feel welcome.
The hotel is in a prime location, walking distance to all the main areas with the main aspect of the hotel was the nature in which we were approached and cared for by all staff.
It is a family friendly hotel but quiet and calm.
We will be coming back.
