The hotel is wonderful. Very relaxing and a lovely place to be. Great food, and more importantly great cocktails. Great service by the pool so you never have to leave your chair if you don’t want to. Carlos (from Cuba) has gone the extra mile throughout our whole time here and has always been a friendly face making us feel extra welcome and made us some brilliant drinks. Thank you Carlos!

Beautiful Hotel, great location, big pool area, nice gym/spa!!! Service is very good, we had our really nice waiter Carlos from Cuba, he gave us a perfect and super friendly experience. Breakfast is huge and super delicious as all of the food we ate in the restaurants in the hotel. Would definitely come back. Just would have liked the room, we had a superior double ab bit nicer. But that was the only thing. :)

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location in Santa Cruz. High quality food at a good price. Very helpful and friendly staff. Spa, gym and pool areas immaculate and modern. We must make a special mention of Andrea in guest services, and Raul on reception - we had to find a room last minute due to our daughter being admitted to hospital - Andrea found us the room for the initial 2 nights and Raul helped extend our stay when it became necessary - their friendly and helpful service made a very stressful time much easier. Thank you to you both!

Such a great hotel. Breakfast is great, rooms are always clean and fresh. All staff is super friendly and helpful. Extra big ups to carlos by the pool, he always answers any questions you have and is so kind and helpful! He creates a nice atmosphere by talking to the guests and joking around 😄

Overall we had a decent stay at the hotel. We booked a two-room suite, requesting a quiet room. The suite is a good room with a separate closet, a living room and a bedroom. It was not particularly luxuriously appointed but functional, with a desk for the computer, etc. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel's strongest points are a great breakfast, beautiful building, nice personnel, good service, excellent spa (for a fee of 20 euro per 1.5 hours), free heated swimming pool and an excellent shower in the room, it was the best shower I ever had, very strong and hot if you wished. The luggage service is outstanding. What remains of the park is great old trees, not too many. There is a good parking for 12 euro a day. There is also a marvelous turtle pond with a dozen of live turtles living there, delightful to watch how they swim and rest on the rocks. The downside is the noise in the room, it is not soundproof and noises from the traffic, taxi drivers chatting outside, music and talk from the eating place on the first floor right below the suite are interfering with the ability to relax and sleep. The suite did not have a bathtub, there were no toiletries, only big pumps attached to walls in the shower. I could ask but I think a 5-star hotel should have such niceties in the bathroom by default. The hotel felt a bit crowded, it is very popular for a good reason - it seems to be the only upscale hotel in Santa Cruz. The location is nothing to write home about, off a hugely busy avenue. The cleanliness was good although I don't think they vacuumed the room daily, not even sure if they washed the floor in the room daily, only in the bathroom maybe. We liked the hotel and we would stay there again but maybe on the top floor with the garden view to minimize the noise issue. The staff again are very courteous and attentive to the guests' requests. Recommended.
