We stayed at three different resorts during our time in Punta Cana and this one by far had the best food. We had great service from food/beverage, the spa and the bell boys (although drink orders were frequently mixed up). We did have an issue with thermostat not working in our room and were told to dial 0 with any needs. We tried about 6 times over 24 hours and nobody picked up until the last time at 10:30pm. And then we waited about 30 minutes trying to stay awake until they arrived at the room to fix it. And then our only other critiques would be that the app frequently had incorrect times and event locations, and it would be nice to have an option for alcoholic beverages at the waterpark, as well as in the mini bar in the hotel room (other than just a beer option in the fridge).
The beach and grounds are gorgeous, our room had an excellent view. The gentleman leading the water aerobics, archery, and at the raffle was such a delightful person and was so great with kids. He carried a genuine happiness with his job that was palpable and definitely stood out--we enjoyed him. Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Awesome family vacation! Grounds are immaculate. The staff is incredible. Food was amazing, and there are so many choices!
The gym might have been the nicest gym I've ever been to! Pools were fantastic. Water Park was so much fun, especially for kids. Hot tubs nice for late afternoon. Beach was great. The ocean water itself is the only thing that isn't perfect (~7.5/10)...there's definitely clearer water/cleaner ocean floor in other spots. Everything else was absolutely perfect!!

After doing extensive research to figure out which resort to choose in the DR, we chose Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. With a family of 4, with 2 young kids 2.5 and 9 months old this was the perfect destination.
The rooms were amazing, had all amenities and large size and accommodated a roll up crib and the couch became a pull out.
The service was spectacular, everyone was so attentive and didn't let you lift a finger. They were also so kind to us with our kids and always helped accomodate our children. By the time of our 6 day stay was over, most of the resort knew my toddlers name and always said hi to her and she would love it. It was a nice touch, no one was pushy on anything and everyone was welcoming and accommodating. A special thank you to Florentina and Dania who were amazing to us the whole time.
Location is great as well, we wanted a experience where we could stay at the resort without any need to leave the resort but plenty of options were available for excursions. Beach was clean and the sand was perfect. All of the resort was spotless at all times. The water park was a nice bonus for our children.
They had so many events in the evening and throughout the day geared towards children that we never felt bored at all. We will definitely be planning a return stay one day.

We had a great time at this resort. Food is fresh and delicious. The Italian restaurant is the best of all included restaurants. The blind butcher is a little pricey but worthy. Food, service, and show were A1. Music maybe a little to loud?? All staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I will recommend it 100%
