Luxury resort and everything was just perfect. Excellent service by friendly staff. The buffet food is good but the restaurants are the highlight, both the italian and asian restaurants had quality food. Navigator and the pool side grill were great for lunch and so was the pizza at Prontozs which was really fresh and well made. Room service menu is limited and was ok. The pool is huge and never felt crowded. Beach had some seaweed but overall had ample space to lounge although beach umbrellas are limited compared to pool side loungers which are plenty. The beach itself is gorgeous with turquoise calm waters. In addition the kids waterpark is big and has a number of slides suitable even for adults. A fun place for toddlers with a food truck for a quick bite. There are also numerous other things going on everyday including movies for kids, magic shows etc and there was a bonus lobster dinner on the lawns one night. Overall an excellent location and resort which has a lot of options.

The resort was amazing. There were always activities going on at night. This was our first time staying at a family-friendly all-inclusive resort; prior to this, we had always stayed at adults-only ones. The resort was beautiful, the staff members were very nice and professional, and so many of them were genuinely dedicated to serving the guests. The ladies at the coffee shop in the front lobby were some of the best, as were the staff at the club bar, the club pool bar, and the servers at the restaurants—they were all great people who helped guests tremendously. The resort is gorgeous, and they keep it very clean. They take great care of your belongings; if you accidentally drop something, you will most likely find it easily without worrying about losing it. I’d say the only downside was that, because of the many night activities, they sometimes had very late and loud events going on. We stayed in the Club ocean-view junior suite. One night during our stay, they had loud music on the beach right below our room that lasted until 10 p.m. Because we have a 1.5-year-old toddler, it was a very tough night for us, and we felt tired the next day as well. The beach was fine, but we were hoping for clear ocean water to swim in. However, the water visibility was basically zero—the water was very murky, we couldn’t see anything in it, and there was lots of seaweed.

This resort exceeded my expectations. Very well maintained. Clean rooms though beds and pillows could be more comfortable. The hospitality was amazing from the restaurant/buffet staff to the front desk to the bar attendants. Everyone was just so nice and courtesy and really cared. The food was gourmet for an all inclusive resort. Truly have not had better food at an all inclusive and I’ve been to so many. There are four restaurants and one buffet. They also a restaurant with live entertainment and an experience but that was for pay. Pools were clean and nice. Beach was clean of seaweed but smelled like fish so we just played in the sand. Several activities throughout the day and nighttime entertainment was great. Overall would highly recommend.

Just got back to reality after a nice trip, and I already miss Hyatt Ziva! Clean, beautiful, and super friendly staff. First and foremost, they take allergies very seriously. Pictured are gluten free waffles and gluten free pancakes. If you talk to the chef during breakfast, they’ll prep gluten free options and bring them to your table! The resort itself was absolutely stunning and still looked very new even though they opened in 2019. Best part? All the staff. Super friendly, down to earth, and made you feel like home. If you’re walking with food and drinks and they see your hands full, they’ll ask numerous times if they can help you. Finest hospitality I’ve ever witnessed. Can’t wait to visit again 😊

We just returned from our second trip to the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. We travelled with our 4 year old son. We loved the hotel last year and this year did not disappoint. This resort is incredible. Rooms: We love the rooms...we were 3 adults and 1 child in the sofa bed and it didn't feel cramped at all. There was a ton of space to put your luggage and lots of drawers. The shower pressure and toilet flushing and AC were all great (always an issue down south) and the room was very clean. The minibar was always stocked. The patio is nice and big. A tip: don't pay for an ocean front room as all of them have some sort of ocean view. My only complaint is that they got rid of the casting option onto the tvs (they had it last year). Pools: There is one giant pool with tons of chairs. The resort wasn't at max capacity however even last year we never had an issue finding chairs. There are a ton of shaded areas everywhere. They offer their own floaties and if you bring your own they will pump it for you. We loved the pool bar. A big shout out to Juan who always remembered my son's Banana shake order and was extremely professional and courteous. Food: The food is very good and very hygienic. The buffet has a great choice of grilled meats (lamb chops, ribs eyes, chicken) and grilled seafood (mussels, salmon, tuna, octopus). Everything was very well seasoned. The a la carts service was a little off (not the Chinola; there it was great) but food was always great. a plus is also the resort only uses bottled water. Service: The service is impeccable here. There is always somebody ready to help you. The public bathrooms everywhere are impeccably clean and there is always someone cleaning something somewhere. Gym: the best gym at any hotel anywhere hands down. Activities: lots to do for the kids...movies at night outside, silent disco, fun shows, karaoke, fake birthday parties. you name it. Beach: We travelled early November and the Sargassum was pretty bad at the beginning of the week. It got progressively better as the days went on. The water was swimmable but not pristine. All in all we love this place. We felt extremely safe and well taken care of. We will be back for a third time next year!
