We came here for our honeymoon. We travelled 16 hours and were exhausted. We were immediately bombarded by staff to get sold on different resorts and memberships. We just wanted to get to our room and relax but even that just took an hour due to being pestered with sales pitches. That pissed us off. The room was beautiful, clean, and had great access to the ocean w/o much seaweed with open cabanas. The spa was fantastic. Those were the only positives. Service was a bit slow but staff was friendly. The food was the worst part. It was not fresh and not very good. It was like it had been sitting out for a while. There were only 1 or 2 decent dishes out of the whole resort. Not many options. I expect fresh fruit at a tropical place but they did not have many fruit options or FRESH fruit. Here's where it went downhill and ruined our honeymoon. We ended up getting the worst parasitic infection (Giardia) we've ever had which lasted 5 weeks! I'm certain we got it from the food there. We have stayed at many different resorts in Mexico before and have never gotten ill from their food/"filtered" water. I'm extremely upset that this is how we will remember our honeymoon. Other guests we've spoken with also experienced the same problem. We are also Unlimited Vacation Members and we did not get any benefits or upgrades. Unless you want a vacation filled with parasites and bad food, I wouldn't recommend...

"In Short Anna and Juan are great at daytime entertainment and very friendly!"
I stayed here for 6 nights with a friend of mine. The Resort mostly consists of couples and older crowds which has its perks but is quite evident when it comes late nights and the resort bars turning to ghost towns by 10. The resort does a phenomenal job at providing entertainment for the guests from night shows and buffets by the pool as well as live music during the day at times. The ambiance is great. The staff is extremely nice and helpful in every aspect and if your reading this and planning on going, PLEASE tip the staff! It greatly improves their day and can go a long way because they are very hard workers and deserve the best. The food was very good across all the restaurants but i especially like the seafood options they had and a lot of times had "catch of the day" so new types of fish everyday!! The room service is also unbeaten late-night as it hits the sport however it takes roughly 45 mins to 1Hr to get to you after you order it on your phone so order in advance if your hungry. The rooms are extremely clean and get cleaned daily. There is daytime entertainment by the pool provided by Juan and Anna which are a great duo that's extremely friendly and entertaining. Whatever they are getting paid, I vote that they get paid more cause they deserve it. And yes Anna did a great job leading her first Water Aerobics class. One last thing, if you are a smoker, this one is for you if not the review can stop here. The resort is a non smoking resort however they have 2 smoking sections, 1 by the front and 1 by the beach. if you don't bring your own smokes you have to go off the resort to get it which is actually just across the street at the gas station but of course you have to be comfortable crossing a fairly busy street.

If this place is not on your list, change your list. This was one of the best all around resort experiences to date. I honestly do not have a negative thing to say about the week stay. The entire staff is exceptional. Just to name a few Sandy, Anna, Michelle, lisbeth, Davi, Eddie, Salome, Carlos, Miguel. The rooms are just what you need and the views are superb. All of the food is delicious from the buffet to hibachi. Day and night activities to break up the day. Lots of loungers at the pool and beach. Definitely recommend to anyone who asks. If you are considering this place, be like Nike and just do it.

Would love to give the staff at this resort 5* as they were so attentive and caring. I’d like to say thank you to Edgar, he was amazing and always so helpful and so welcoming. And solved all our queries within seconds! We genuinely liked our stay because of the staff, if it wasn’t for them I probably would have rated this a 2 star.
Management was poor. Not considerate and you can tell it was poorly managed.
The hotel is beautiful, selection of food is limited however and activities that were run were pretty much the same and no variation. Restaurants were always on rotation and snacks that were provided in the room was so limited I think it could be improved

We just returned from a 4 night stay here and overall were extremely impressed! The staff were very accommodating and wanted to be sure you were satisfied. I have a gluten allergy and all the staff were knowledgeable on what I was able to eat as well as willing to make accommodations to food so I was able to enjoy it. Oscar helped us book our romantic dinner, however, because of the weather we were not able to have it on the beach. He was extremely helpful and wanted to be sure we were happy. We ended up having the dinner in a small room in the Italian restaurant, however, decided that we couldn’t justify spending the extra money to just be sitting in a restaurant we had eaten at many times. Jesus was very helpful and wanted to be sure we were happy so he allowed us to stay in the room and just order off the house menu instead of the romantic dinner menu. We are pretty simple eaters so we were happy with this. We loved the menu at the Italian restaurant. Marg was also very helpful with some issues with our excursion booking and we enjoyed talking with her too. All of the staff was very kind. The room was also very spacious and the resort is very clean. We will for sure be returning!
