Staff are exceptional and the service is 5 star. Beach is beautiful and cleaned often. However, wifi is non-existent especially for android users. They also don't have an umbrella service and the stationary palapas go fast. These are two things that can be easily fixed. The room was beautiful and well equipped but there is hardly any soundproofing. you can hear everything from the next room, hallway and the pool. so lightsleepers may run into issues. The resort itself needs nicer and more upscale decor to keep up with the 5 star esthetics. The food presentation and taste was good at every restaurant However consistently over-salted. the portions are small which is nice because you get quality and less waste. This is not a party resort and they have some entertainment but it's not great. They use a private company for their non-motorized sports who was rarely there and not very helpful or nice.

Our stay at Hyatt Zilara was overall a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The service truly stood out — the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The resort never felt overcrowded, which made it easy to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The entertainment was on point, with fun, well-organized activities and great nighttime shows that kept the energy lively without being overwhelming. That said, there is room for improvement when it comes to the food. While there were good options available, the quality and variety could be elevated to better match the resort’s standard. Additionally, service in the beach area was noticeably slower; the waiters seemed overwhelmed, and adding more staff there would greatly improve the experience. Overall, Hyatt Zilara offers a beautiful setting, great service, and a relaxing vibe, with just a few areas that could be improved.

We booked the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya as 1 for 1 resort using a UVC member VIP week. We did not have high expectations, but needed to use or lose our VIP week. We were absolutely blown away by the consistently high service throughout the resort. Arguably, the best service we have ever had and we have stayed at the highest end properties in the UVC portfolio. This is small footprint resort, that feels intimate a quiet. Our room was superb and the butler services by Marial and her colleagues was incredible 24/7. A perfect beach, great room and excellent food. We can't wait to stay at this resort again!!

We stayed at Hyatt zilara from November 29-dec 6. We had a great time. The resort is small, just what we were looking for, the food was great, better than most resorts. The staff was short but they did the best they could to keep up. We had one bartender at the beach that started on Wednesday I think and was there until Saturday when we left that had a major attitude problem but other than that I can't complain. The beach was cleaned every day. It was soft and powdery. I highly recommend this resort.

We stayed at the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya for five days in November and had a really good experience. The resort is more on the boutique side and isn't massive, which makes it perfect for a shorter stay. Anything more than a week might feel a bit much, but five days was perfect. When we first arrived, there were a couple of issues with our room, but Jacob the hotel supervisor handled everything quickly and was really kind throughout the process. Luis also deserves a shoutout. He looked after us with food and drinks and was just an all-around cool dude. Everyone we met at the resort was super friendly, and the Pan American show on Monday night was very cool. The beach and pool areas are beautiful, and the hotel itself is very nice. Some parts of the property are starting to show their age a bit, but the rooms were updated, modern, and very comfortable. The Asian restaurant was my favorite. The only small downside was at Lola Beach Club, where the raccoon-like animals were bothering guests and looking for food. The staff could have done a bit more to keep them away, but it was just a minor issue. Overall, the staff, the beach, the food, and the whole experience was great.
