Now do not get me wrong - this is a 5* luxury resort that is on the whole exceptional in a lot of ways. My 4 star rating on here is simply because it is in that upper band of resorts and to compete with the best; the four seasons / Ritz carltons in the most exotic locations, the last 5% and strive to perfection is needed. Resort: beautiful. Beach is excellent. Setting marvellous. Hard to go wrong here. Room: Building 5 fourth floor; really good location but, and a big but, I would only stay here in building five on floor 4+. Half the resort gets no sun at all. I wouldn’t pay for that and the risk is high, so this will impact where we stay when we return… Rooms are very spacious; a bath would go down well. Cleaning: bit haphazard; forgot to lay towels one day…. Didn’t finish toilet another day…. This needs to be consistently excellent and is not. Club level: definitely worth it for the pool; great reprieve and we liked that. Butler: we had Luis and were disappointed. Have never been disappointed with a butler before but it really felt negative from the start, we felt discriminated against by a bloke with quite a lot of attitude. Missing item: I called reception to ask to speak to a manager as a technology item I had on Monday and Tuesday went missing on Wednesday. Was told I’d be called back and was not. This is not acceptable and I trust senior hospitality figures at the Hyatt would find that absurd. Food; excellent at most restaurants. Tons of variety. Quality of the sashimi needs to be improved if trying to compete with Pacific Island resorts by having that out… Overall cohesiveness: biggest area for Improvement is that no one in any other area really knows about anything else, so it comes a cross a little disorganised at times. A truly awesome stay, with minor tweaks needed to really stand out.

We just returned from an incredible week at the Hyatt Zilara, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The quality of the food and the variety of restaurants were outstanding—far beyond any other hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, with an attention to detail that made us feel like part of the family. We stayed in the Zilara section, which is adults-only, but the resort also offers the Ziva side for families. Every evening featured fantastic shows, along with surprise performances by talented artists in different areas of the resort. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a breathtaking view of the beach and ocean. Housekeeping was impeccable, with daily cleaning, evening turndown service, and even midday visits to ensure we had everything we needed—water, towels, and more. I highly recommend trying the Blind Butcher experience. This specialty restaurant, available at an additional cost, is absolutely worth it. The culinary experience was phenomenal, complemented by live performances every 15 minutes, including dancing and singing acts that made the evening unforgettable. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Pedro Thomas and his entire team, with special recognition to Jenny and Darling for their exceptional hospitality. A big thank you as well to our butler, Osiris, for his attentiveness and availability throughout the week, and to Anthony and Daniela from The Pier restaurant for their outstanding service.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE! ❤️ Food is amazing, room was spotless clean, staff was wonderful to us. They have a very cute gesture of putting their right hand on their hearts everytime they pass by guests. I thought this was a genuine, beautiful gesture of gratitude. This was the best experience I've had in a resort and I'm truly happy with my stay beginning to end. Ps: I'm gluten allergic and they have good options such as croissants, ciabatta bread and muffins for breakfast. THANK YOU HYATT ZILARA. I'm definitely coming back!

I had an amazing stay at Hyatt Zilara and was truly impressed from start to finish. One of the best parts of staying at Zilara as an adult is being able to enjoy the amenities at both Zilara and Ziva, which gives you so many dining, pool, and activity options. The food exceeded my expectations across the board, especially for an all inclusive resort. Every meal felt thoughtful, elevated, and well executed. The decor throughout the resort is next level and makes the entire property feel modern, stylish, and luxurious. Every space felt intentional and beautifully designed. The waterpark at Ziva is also fairly large and a huge plus, whether you are traveling with kids or just want to enjoy a fun afternoon. It adds so much value to the overall experience. The staff were outstanding. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Anytime we needed directions or assistance, someone was always happy to guide us in the right direction and often even walk us there. The room was very comfortable and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after full days of activities. I traveled with my female cousin and it was the perfect trip for us, but I would absolutely recommend this resort for family vacations as well. There were so many classes and activities offered that we were never bored. There was honestly nothing negative I could say about this resort, which says a lot because I travel frequently and stay at many all inclusive resorts. I cannot wait to come back.

Wonderful experience. Shower was a little wonky and everything was a little damp from the humidity, but everything else was great. You didn't need reservations for dinner which was nice. We tried almost every restaurant and the food and service were very good. We did the buffet for breakfast and there was a lot of choices. The views were beautiful and the beach was very clean. We did venture to ziva for the water park. It was small, but fun to entertain you for a bit. They had nightly shows outside of the sports bar which was always a fun way to end the evenings. Lastly, the staff was very kind. I'll def go back.
