Our family of 15 had a great stay at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana and would absolutely return. We stayed at the Club level and really enjoyed having access to the club pool and bar. Special thanks to Wilin, who took great care of our group at the club pool throughout our stay. We used the spa, which was very nice with plenty of attendants. Massage therapists Albania and Morania stood out and both provided excellent treatments. The head of food and beverage, Edgar, went above and beyond, checking in with us daily. The food across the resort was very good. We have stayed at many all inclusive resorts, and we all agreed the food here was better than the others. Our favorites were Waves, with great service from Patricio, and Noodle and Thread. The gym was top notch. If you play golf, there are excellent courses nearby. Overall, this resort was a great fit for our group, and we are already planning to book again next year.

We stayed at Hyatt Zilara for our Honeymoon in early 2025 and were absolutely blown away by the experience. The property, the room, the food, the service, the beach, and the entertainment all far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a Club level room and found Larisa to be incredibly friendly and helpful; she made herself available to text with, got to know us over the course of our stay, helped us book an appointment at the spa, and would go out of her way to check in with us as we lounged, walked, etc around the property. We loved all of it but especially the pool cabana, Tempest restaurant, the beach pier, and the Silent Disco! Everything on the property was well thought-out, well done, and clean.. but the Club level amenities (Lounges, Pools, Restaurants, etc) were all beyond amazing. Shout out to Jose and his killer Mudslides at the Las Mareas and to the rest of the staff that made our honeymoon truly unbelievable! We are already looking forward to our next trip and will be visiting Zilara/Ziva Cap Cana for years to come.

Luis at Lobby Bar, absolutely amazing , friendly service every order. Mayreni was absolutely wonderful, attentive, friendly by the pool. Jinesse, was our excellent maid/ housekeeping for our room. Luis and his brother were wonderful during the night for room service. Every single aspect of this resort has been a phenomenal experience, the food delicious, the amenities wonderful, cleanliness superb, landscaping beautiful. Every single employee you walk past greets you with friendliness abd respect. Our whole company and our customers had nothing but amazing reviews, positive experience!

Now do not get me wrong - this is a 5* luxury resort that is on the whole exceptional in a lot of ways. My 4 star rating on here is simply because it is in that upper band of resorts and to compete with the best; the four seasons / Ritz carltons in the most exotic locations, the last 5% and strive to perfection is needed. Resort: beautiful. Beach is excellent. Setting marvellous. Hard to go wrong here. Room: Building 5 fourth floor; really good location but, and a big but, I would only stay here in building five on floor 4+. Half the resort gets no sun at all. I wouldn’t pay for that and the risk is high, so this will impact where we stay when we return… Rooms are very spacious; a bath would go down well. Cleaning: bit haphazard; forgot to lay towels one day…. Didn’t finish toilet another day…. This needs to be consistently excellent and is not. Club level: definitely worth it for the pool; great reprieve and we liked that. Butler: we had Luis and were disappointed. Have never been disappointed with a butler before but it really felt negative from the start, we felt discriminated against by a bloke with quite a lot of attitude. Missing item: I called reception to ask to speak to a manager as a technology item I had on Monday and Tuesday went missing on Wednesday. Was told I’d be called back and was not. This is not acceptable and I trust senior hospitality figures at the Hyatt would find that absurd. Food; excellent at most restaurants. Tons of variety. Quality of the sashimi needs to be improved if trying to compete with Pacific Island resorts by having that out… Overall cohesiveness: biggest area for Improvement is that no one in any other area really knows about anything else, so it comes a cross a little disorganised at times. A truly awesome stay, with minor tweaks needed to really stand out.

From top to bottom it was a pretty great experience. The only dig is our massage. It was decent but whatever they did to me, messed up my lower back for several days. Received many massages in my life and this is the first time for that to happen. We also got the facial and it was fantastic. The food is great. The Pier buffet is actually the best spot next to the Blind Butcher. The Pier makes your sushi however you want it. Their hibachi restaurant is also very good. Martini Bar is the drinking spot if you like them.
