This was our second stay and we simply fell in love with this hotel. It is certainly not new hotel, but the comfort of rooms, service, style, food and amenities do make something so special about this Hyatt and this comes from someone who is so not easy to please and travelers 80+ nights per Year. Comfortable rooms with great quality of sleep and amenities, clean, services to perfection. Very friendly and service minded team, great food in all restaurants, great choice of drinks at the bars and evening entertainment that was not cheap and boring - from white party to cabaret shows. We just love to sink into this hotel and just be for a few days. The beach was wonderful as well. I do not have a problem to book a cabana few times per stay, but one thing I would say is missing is enough sun chairs on the beach if you do not want a cabana and more cabanas that are free. Also most people get up early and take space and are not there most of the day, even though I know it is hard to solve. And to be picky, more service on the beach, some days there were only 2 waiters and they could not manage the large crowd, especially on the weekend.

We had a great time here. Had you asked me when we first walked in the first night, I might’ve rated this place 3 or 4 stars. We unfortunately had a terrible first impression when we tried to go into the pool and there were extremely drunks hotel-goers ruining our experience, one which was so wasted they stole our beach towel that was very hard to get. For having just walked into the resort, we were not impressed and thought maybe we made a mistake.
Fast forward five days later, we absolutely adore this resort. All service staff from waiters, concierge, hotel housekeeping, entertainment and more were so kind and hospitable. Our room was the cheapest option, but we felt it was still so nice and luxurious, and clean! The activities and nightly entertainment is something they really shine in - they put in so much detail and effort. Their beach is also lovely, they have a sandbar right in front so swimming is a breeze. The food was actually pretty good, and we felt there was decent amount of variety.
The only thing that could be improved is the pool, but there’s not really much they can do about that now. They definitely need more than one pool and regulating the drunk people would be appreciated. We absolutely adored our time here and would even come back!

This resort exceeded my expectations. We chose this resort based mostly on the food reviews. It was excellent! Yes, there were a few spots where the resort seemed a little dated, but it was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was varied and quality. We never waited for a beach chair and the beach and water were clean and beautiful. Best massages from Brenda and Veronica. Abigail had the best smile while serving coffees and desserts, Uriel at Mexican night and Alejandro at the Den provided great service, and Hector at punta Vista remembered us and was helpful. We would stay again.

I have stayed here twice since 2022; once with my partner and once with my family, we had an amazing experience each time we went. Staff goes above and beyond and everyone is exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We loved the food, entertainment and property. Looking into going a third time with a group of girlfriends - highly, highly recommend!

Excellent customer service. Had a swim up suite, well with the extra cost. Bonus bottle of liquor daily. Food was very good. Spa was fantastic, had the Mayan hot Stine massage. Renting a cabana at the beach is advised, otherwise you have to get out at sunrise to reserve one. Special parties in the main lobby area Wed, Friday and Sunday. These can be noisy if your room is adjacent.
