Overall, a hotel that looks good but needs a lot of work At the beginning of our stay, nothing was explained to us about the hotel's activities, not to mention that no introductory tour or the like was carried out. Secondly, room service made mistakes in the order every time. For example. I ordered spaghetti Bolognese and asked for it without cheese and it did come without cheese but also without the meat. I asked for breakfast without meat and it came with. Thirdly, there was a hair in the cocktail I ordered. Fourthly, we ordered VIP service and paid quite a bit for it, only to find out that some of the beds at the pool in the VIP area require an additional charge! Fifthly, the issue of the restaurants. They say that you can make a reservation in advance but every time we were told that it is not possible to make a reservation until the restaurant opens. In addition, the waiter service is not at a high level, it turned out more than once that we returned a dish because it was not served as we requested. On top of that, not only were we let in late to eat, but they also didn't announce that the kitchen was closing and we had to give up a dessert that we had come specifically for. There was a restaurant where we waited 20 minutes just to order (when they let us in late anyway). It must be noted that the rest of the service of the employees is at a very high level and the operators are excellent. Very good facilities. But all the other shortcomings overshadow this. There were other things to comment on but it's already hard to keep track.

First impression a great resort. Friendliest staff. Very clean rooms and relatively new facilities overall. Great activities for both physical and mental health; yoga, spin, sound bath, nightly entertainment. Food is decent and lots of variety. Sunsets are absolutely dreamy! Transport from airport was a bit dicey, air transat made us wait for another booking that was no show. Over 30 min. Shout out to Gustavo at the pool, Mauricio at the beach club, Jesus/Guadalupe at the Ceviche bar, and Abigale at the sandwich bar.

We just returned from vacationing in Cancun and stayed at the Hyatt Vivid. Infinity pool staff and view spectacular..Feish the concierge was nice and always going out of her way for us. Pool waiters - Mario, Ivan, Andrew, Adel, Eduardo, William & Alberto were very nice, attentive and funny. Carlos at the Beach Club made our day memorable and waited on us like queens and a king. Jesus and Maria from breakfast buffet very outgoing and always had our coffee and mimosas ready. Barney the VIP concierge very accommodating and bought my friend a personal bday cake to celebrate her bday. We all had a really good time, would definitely stay here again.

I’ve also stayed at other all inclusive throughout Mexico. This one was different in a good way, calm and relaxing. Their beach club was amazing! You have to take a shuttle but I never had an issue with their comfortable mode of transportation service. The food was good, but I do wish they offered either extended hours at the restaurants, or better offerings of their after hours(after 10pm) room service menu. Their room service menu is limited to bar food and took almost 2 hours at peak time which is why I deducted 1 star on service. My other deduction on service was due to their limited offerings of activities at the hotel, It was slightly underwhelming (water aerobics, yoga, dance with an instructor at the ground level pool) 🥱.No night club with varied music 🥱. Bars were understaffed as per usual all-inclusive. Facilities were very clean, staff were genuinely friendly, no maintenance issue to report for once, bed was comfortable, and I really appreciated their hosting of a local artesian market.

Our recent 5 day/4 night stay at the Hyatt Grand Island Adults Only All Inclusive Resort was just simply amazing. It was indeed a 10/10 for us. We used CARM transportation for our airport transfers which was a safe option with no issues whatsoever to and from. We were greeted with a “Welcome Home” with a welcome drink upon arriving. Check-in was quick and simple with friendly staff. The rooms were spotless with housekeeping everyday. The rain shower was everything! The staff….what can I say…we have never experienced this high level of customer service at any resort we’ve ever visited. I thought nothing could ever top Jamaica but the staff here was top notch. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt like we didn’t have to lift a finger. They were everywhere helping and just making sure everyone enjoyed their stay. We experienced no noise or issues with new construction going on next door. The app was very user friendly to make dinner reservations. The food was hit or miss but that does not take away from anything because there was something there for everyone. The carrot cake at the coffee bar was magnificent. I had the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Our favorite restaurants were the Italian where I enjoyed the Salmon and Brussel Sprout salad and Japanese where I enjoyed everything! We also thoroughly enjoyed the food truck and snack bar where I indulged in French Fries often. We went to the private beach club one day and it was simply fabulous. It was a quick less than 5 minute drive to get to and from. We had no issues with getting a seat near the beach. The food was good and the customer service was outstanding! My husband played golf at the Iberostar next door and he enjoyed it. You must sign up in advance and there is a fee. We chose the Vantage Club option for the additional $50 per night which was definitely worth it. We had access to the rooftop pool and bar where we had very friendly staff serving us with whatever we requested (food and drinks). It was just amazing and the alcohol was top shelf on the rooftop. The gym was small with Peloton equipment, but we managed to get work outs in. There is not much night entertainment, but the relaxation was unmatched. I can’t name only one amazing staff member because everyone we encountered was OUTSTANDING! It was just unbelievable. And just a friendly reminder…tip them well. They all truly deserve it. We enjoyed tipping and they were not even requesting tips, they were simply there to serve. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort. We were very sad to leave but already planning our next trip back. Thank you Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. Until the next time…
