Ended up being a bit disappointed with our stay at Hyatt Regency. I’ll start with the positives: Obviously beautiful and well maintained grounds. Room was extremely comfortable and we had the largest bed I think we’ve ever slept on. Comfortable balcony with large cushioned lounger. Amazing shower with two sinks in bathroom. Direct access to beach and long boardwalk. Very friendly staff. Cons: we did not realize just how kid friendly this resort was. We felt like we were at a Disney resort and ultimately was not relaxing for my husband and I since we do not have children. You can hear kids screaming all day long. From your room (not sound proof from outside noise at all), from your balcony and the pool was a terrible experience. So many children running and jumping in the pool. It says there are two adult pools but there is only one. You cannot use the main pools at all unless you want to be next to screaming children trying to swim for the first time. There is an adult only pool in the spa but it is very small, very shallow and extremely warm. There are not many loungers there and is the only escape from children in the whole resort. We have been to similar resorts that have done a much better job on creating an adult and child separation. We also were not able to check in until 4:30. We arrived at 3:45pm (check in time is 3pm) and after looking at reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. They also did not clean our room until pretty late in the day, usually around 5pm when we would be getting ready for dinner. If you have kids, this is probably a perfect resort for you. But if you don’t, I would absolutely book elsewhere for a relaxing stay.

Had the pleasure of staying here for four days after touring around Bali. We were impressed with the quality and location of this hotel. Very easy to get out and about to explore on foot, and as it’s such a large hotel it’s nice to escape the busyness of it. We went for the bed and breakfast option and what a nice offering of choice each morning. Certainly didn’t leave hungry! It was a nice, friendly and pleasant stay for us all.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency in Sanur, and overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Despite having visited Bali over 10 times, this was our first time in Sanur, and it certainly won't be our last. What sets Sanur apart from other areas in Bali is its relaxed atmosphere and lack of overwhelming crowds. Unlike Seminyak and Canggu, Sanur offers a peaceful retreat without sacrificing any of the luxury or social aspects that Bali has to offer. The resort has it all – from amazing rooms to delicious food and fantastic amenities. While the sheer size of the resort made navigation a bit challenging at times, the effort was well worth it. We hardly felt the need to leave the premises, thanks to the variety of dining options and impeccable service. Plus, with two huge pools and complimentary bikes to explore the beach, there was always something exciting to do. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering Turtle Beach in the resort premises, where we had the opportunity to see turtles which was an unforgettable experience for the kids. And let's not forget about the day spa – a sanctuary of tranquility and indulgence where we left feeling completely rejuvenated. However, I must mention that we did encounter a minor inconvenience during our stay when the lights in our apartment didn't work for a day, for an unknown reason. Overall, our stay at the Hyatt Regency in Sanur exceeded all expectations, and we can't wait to return again soon.

Excellent, everything about this resort was on point. The service, the food, the facilities and the location. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a resort that just works. It was easy, relaxing and that's including travelling with a toddler. Calm and beautiful spa and green grounds. The beach is also clean with great pathway and you have the option to walk out into the shops/town if you so choose. Thank you Hyatt!!!

The staff is the friendliest and warmest I’ve ever encountered, from housekeeping to reception to waitstaff, they are all amazing. Extremely baby friendly, both the staff and the services they provide. Impeccably clean and maintained rooms, thoughtfully designed. The resort itself is akin to a park with fish and ducks and beautiful gardens. Normally food at resorts is varied and looks great but this one has legitimately delicious food, including breakfast and their Indonesian restaurant. It’s right next to the pedestrian boardwalk which is covered by trees from the sun, and the beach is on the other side of it. This is a tough resort to beat and will have ruined me for others.
