Hovima La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel

Great hotel with fantastic kids entertainment and perfect location. Staff are very accommodating and very friendly. The food is the only slight downside to the hotel. Lunch and breakfast are good but meals at dinner weren’t as good so we did prefer to eat out. We had a family room leading out to the splash pool which was perfect for the kids.

The location is great, between the commercial street and the beach. Everything you need is within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly and always smiling. Breakfast is well-designed with everything you need. They try to please everyone. Dinner is nice as well, but not wow. I recommend going out for dinner. If you want to properly see the ocean, ask for low-numbered rooms (1-15) or the northern ones. The swimming pool area is very crowded and noisy because it is not that big relative to the hotel capacity, but it offers everything you need (a bar, a water playground for kids, and a baby playground). The entire hotel is very kid-friendly. The only downside I discovered regarding kids is that it is difficult to access the beach with a stroller because there is only a staircase toward the area. So you need to carry the stroller in your hands. Rooms are large, but the bedroom is small and located near the room's entrance, so it only has some high, small windows toward the corridor. We had twin beds on wheels, which was very annoying for a couple to sleep on because they moved around easily. The pillows were also not very comfortable and only came in one softness and shape. The good thing, especially when traveling with babies, is that there is a kitchenette equipped with everything you need. The terrace is large enough and has a table with four chairs. The rooms toward the swimming pools get music shows each evening from the hotel and also from other bars in the area, which is not very pleasant if you want to relax. Regarding this, the soundproofing between floors is very poor, and if you are "lucky" enough to have a family with small children on the upper floor, you will get up very early. The annoying part of moving around the hotel with a stroller is that the elevators are very slow and not very smart in taking orders. However, using the stairs is very fast. Overall, it was a good experience at a fair price. We could even park our rental car in the underground garage. I don't know if it is a hotel I would return to, but I have no major complaints about our stay.

We had the best experience. First time in a Hovima hotel, first time in Costa Adeje and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel was easy to navigate, so much entertainment for children and adults and a 5* kids club team. We loved every bit of our time there, in the pool, food & drink was perfect for us, all the entertainment throughout the day and evening - fab! The access to La Pinta beach is a great bonus and short walk to shops, restaurants and Plaza Del Duque shopping mall. We will be booking again for next year and already counting down 👌 thank you to all the staff at Hovima La Pinta for making our stay so comfortable, memorable and fun; your amazing🍹💕

A great family hotel. We stayed for 8 nights with our 2 year old in a Superior room - it had a fantastic view. The layout of the one bedroom apartment was great as we could put little one to sleep in the bedroom and then still have the living area and balcony for ourselves. The entertainment for the kids was fantastic - special shout out to Fabio the entertainment manager. All the staff were great with the little ones, and the soft play was so helpful for chillier days - my only slight complaint would be that the board of activities wasn't always updated so we missed a few things we wanted to try. The kids mini disco was a great way to end the night too and our little one loved it. Food was better than I was expecting after reading a few reviews - always fresh and tasty. Plenty of variety with a different "special" each day. The ice cream deserves a special mention too. We didn't figure out how to get to the grassed play area, but with all the other things for kids it wasn't actually an issue. Some directions would have been helpful - a QR code to a map of the hotel perhaps.

Nice place for families. Many things to do for the children. Good location. On the other hand the food was not very good (too much emphasis on variety and not on quality). Also the candy bar was not really a good idea when you have small children and you try to make them eat normal food.
