I absolutely loved everything about this place! The location, the bungalow-style accommodation, and the laid-back atmosphere transported me back to a more relaxed era. The rooms were far from cookie-cutter, each with its own unique charm. The property boasts three pools, a pleasant bar, and two restaurants (one located off-site). The on-site restaurant is fantastic, and the outdoor tables create a lovely ambiance. The staff was friendly and always available. I sincerely hope they never renovate too much to lose their unique charm!

I think it is a quite and nice hotel with great swimming pools and lovely spa area. Breakfast is 8 out of 10 in my opinion. Rooms are quite spacious but shower is not. Quite difficult to have a proper shower. Fortunately we have bath to supply. Apart from it, I do recommend the hotel for a lively time in a couple or family.

As soon as we arrived, Hotel Ta’ Cenc felt like home. It’s such a calm, tranquil place. The pools were delightful, both adult and children pools meant we could enjoy the peace and quiet even further. The spa was lovely, and the food was good. We had just breakfast included and ate two nights at the restaurant. The first night we had the set menu which was great, and the second just ordered from the main menu. Both evenings we enjoyed our food. There are not many other eating options locally but using a bolt to get to Victoria is an option as well as ordering in (we saw some eating McDonald’s around the pool 😂). The rooms are a little tired but spacious and well maintained - this did not bother us at all. Breakfast buffet was good, lots of choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Had a terrible recent experience. This is my 4th time visiting and I was shocked with the level of service I received from the spa staff.
I called the hotel a month before my visit to arrange details. I booked massages and pool days for 4 of us. On arrival I was told that the access didn't include the main pool, so we paid extra for this. Why was this not explained to me when i called?
The lunch menu was shocking and so limited. The fish looked like a kids portion, and the burger was so poorly presented for a 5* hotel. You can eat better for less everywhere on the island.
Please take care of your staff, use incentives to make them care, and listen to customers. This is no longer a 5* hotel. It's become more expensive, but zero value has been added.

We chose " a day with a difference "
So we were able to use the spa pool and after had a back message, which was lovely and needed too. Very relaxing. Afterward, we had a delicious lunch, which was wonderful. A true Day with a difference indeed!
